Ramada Fishkill - Fishkill

The breakfast was ok except for the last day of our stay, the eggs were runny, there we no coffee creamers and the regular coffee was almost gone and no one was around to ask for a good amount of time. Room was clean and staff was friendly. I would defiantly stay again.

The entire building had a smell to them, hallways and room felt humid. Very uncomfortable!

Even tho they say front desk open 24 hours ... if you NEEDED something from the front desk late at night, there was no one the ONE person AT the front desk could send to your room with the item (in this case, 2 more pillows); Even tho free continental b'fast was billed until 10:00. I would like to say that it was great experience...my girlfriend & i went out the first night we were there & the staff graciously gave us til 1pm to check out...Thank You Very Much & we will use this hotel again!

My stay was pleasant. The staff was pleasant, even friendly. The Hotel was close to where I was visiting and it had so many stores and resturants near. Hotel was loud, smelled as if people were smoking in the hallways...it was new yrs eve, so overall I guess I can say for what we paid it was as good as its gonna get, decent bed, room was clean...ok but nothing special

The hotel was very nice and i would recommend it except for two problems. One our room had no heat and we didn't realize it until morning because we got in late. Fan blew but no heat. Two: no drapes to close, only sheers. They were very about problems but...

A very clean and comfortable room. The front desk was as efficient as can be.

They have a Good breakfast spread, friendly staff, nice surroundings, stores and restaurants close by. Clean linen,nice lobby and amenities, the only problem is very dirty carpet you can smell it, bad for allergies.

Hotel could only provide me wih a smoking room though I had reserved a non-smoking room with Hotels.com.

Room was not ready at check-in. Waited over an hour in lobby with many others. Finally given a room once we got there it was never cleaned. Went back.to.get a different room and when arrived bathroom had black mold!!! Definitely never again!!!

The greeter was friendly, accomadating. Room was comfortable. I would return again.

the service in the restuaurant was so poor as to be practically non-existent. i had to wait and finally get up and find a waitress more than once. i was also not given the full range of options and only discovered other choices over-hearing another customer. the bathroom in the room had rust stains and leaky facucets. the bed was harder than most […] motels we have been in. the desk staff as also absent part of the time altho a very nice young man who had other duties did fill in. Hotel was clean and quiet. Room was comfortable with 2 queen beds in non-smoking area. Front desk service was speedy. Would definitely stay here again next time I'm in this area.

After a 500-mile drive through heavy rain, we were lucky to arrive at our destination at 1pm. The requested early-check-in was unavailable--the room needed cleaning. We were asked to return at 2:30. We did. And stood at the front desk for 45 minutes until the room was "cleaned." "Cleaned" apparently meant that the housekeeper sprinkled cleanser into […] the tub and left it that way--NOT cleaned!. "Cleaned" apparently meant no soap, no coffee packets for the coffee maker, no do-not-disturb doorhanger, and keycards that never both worked. This former Holiday Inn has seen its day. This isn't a bad place to stay if you are in the area. The room was clean and comfortable. The service was so-so. When we checked in the young man was more concerned with the phone call he was on than helping me, he didn't even tell me which direction my room was in and the floors are quite large. I had to ask him if I was finished checking in. When […] I later asked about towels, he said "for your room or the pool?" We were standing there in bathing suits! The outdoor pool was nice but the tiles on the sides were extremely grimy. The pool was closed one day for a "shock treatment", let's hope that means the tiles got the needed attention. My husband went to the front desk one evening to get a replacement light bulb for a lamp and was told they didn't have any!! We got one the next day, I guess the maintenance crew doesn't work in the evening but you would think that they would stock a few basic supplies. i arrived at 4 pm my room was not ready waited 30 minutes for room when i finally got to my room then key card did not work went back to main desk to reprogram key card got into room changed clothes went out until 1 am when i returned to room key card did not work again long walk from my room to main desk to once again reprogram key card checked out […] at 7 am could not wait to leave hotel i will never stay at this hotel again. I've experienced various Ramada's around the US. Some Inn's have been fairly clean/comfortable and some border on dirty. The Fishkill, NY location is somewhere in-between. The positives include a helpful and friendly staff that accepted my request to extend my stay at a rate that I got thru hotel.com, a full breakfast that is included in the stay, a […] small exercise room and a welcoming lobby with an attached pub. The Negatives are deteriorating carpeting in some hall locations and a musty/dirty odor in some of the hallways and not much of a selection of TV channels (No premium channels). About 1 1/2 hours from Newark, NJ or NYC in the Hudson River Valley. Located near many Revolutionary War historical sites, including Washington's Headquarters in Newburgh, West Point US Military Academy, Sleepy Hollow, and many others. We had two rooms and both were very clean and comfortable. We checked in pretty late as we were at a family reunion. One of the rooms was for my son and his family. They really needed a refrigerator for the baby's milk and I had forgotten to request it when booking. There was no room service, the fitness facility was out of order, the blankets in the room had mysterious brown stains on them, the service wasn't great, the restaurant doesn't stay open late.... Made a reservation on july 3rd in the morning before leaving to go to fishklill...Figured i would spend the night since it was raining and supposed to rain all day and I didnt feel like driving back to jersey in the rain. I had stayed at the old Holiday Inn before it became the Ramada. The place looks the same and not much has changed. The place is older and needs an update. The room was fine when I arrived but in the morning when I got out of the shower the bedroom walls were covered with termites! Attracted by the light I guess. I hope they hire an exterminator.

A bit disappointing - no lids for ice bucket, no refrigerators in room, old model tvs, no privacy curtains, old model safe requires a key

The Ramada in Fishkill was reasonably priced, good location, and was very convenient. My only gripe would be that they did not have a station that carried the Stanley Cup Finals between Boston & Vancouver.
