Everything was fine, decent quiet night sleep.

We travel with a dog, and it is perfect for him.

Beds are uncomfortable, but liked the hideaway bed. There is currently a new hotel going up next door so it can be noisy. Also, alot of people are living in this hotel. The breakfast room and the front desk staff were very courteous.

I have no idea what is happening to this hotel. I started staying here when it was Residence Inn. I usually stay once a month, 2 nights. I noticed the property has really declined the past 6 months. The staff always seems aggravated and they act like they are mad if you need a refill of a breakfast item on the morning buffet. The maid service is never […] consistent. Sometimes they never made up my room. I had to go find towels. But the last two stays here made me realize I would never come back. The property has trash laying all around. Beer caps, broken items, cigarette butts. Looks like they never sweep the stoops in front of the doors. The pool is filthy. My daughter got a white rash when she stood in the hot tub for 10 mins. But the worst was my last night there. People yelled and screamed all night. When I came back from dinner, there were 3 police cars in the parking lot (the second time of that day) My 20 year old son stayed with me because he was afraid to leave me there alone all night. I am pretty easy going, but when the maintainance man knocked on my door and did not wait for me to answer before he opened my door, I was livid and enough was enough. I left without staying my second night. I had paid for the night, but I was too afraid to stay here. Oh, and I haven't mentioned the horrible smell of urine in every room. I have stayed in many of these rooms, and every room has a horrible urine smell. Even the blankets. I have put up with this because the rate was good for my budget. You get what you pay for. I cannot write the event that led me to actually leave the hotel my last night without even asking for a refund or they will not publish my review. My daughter and I make a couple of trips a year to shreveport just to have a girls fun weekend. We have always stayed at this hotel. I'm not so sure anymore it is kind of running down, someone is not maintaining the grounds and condition of the buildings. Outside of my room it looked like someone had tried to start a fire in one of those dish satellite […] round disc dishes, there was burned wood and charcoal. Not sure it worked but it was ingenious. But the main problem is the clerk at the hotel. He was rude, short and just didn't care weather we were there or not. It's sad because there are plenty of hotels in shreveport. Where do I start...generally it was a clean room. For a cable TV, the reception was lousy. The tub was slick to step into for a shower and there were no handles on the wall. I returned my last evening to find the door open and it's lock set...my key card wouldn't work...the room had been cleaned...nothing appeared to be missing but when I told the night […] manager of the situation...there was no concern...she reset my key card and she went about her business. The neighborhood is kinda sketchy and there was a lady that looked like she lived there sitting outside her sliding door watching me unload my stuff. The best place yet. Real clean and tidy!

Really enjoyed my stay here. I like a room that feels less like a room and more like an apartment. service was great. will stay here again.

We stayed here this past weekend as our "close to home get-away" and though the price was not too bad. I wish I would have just booked a room at one of the casino's for about $100 more. It was located fairly close to the casinos and boardwalk. About a 3-5 minute drive but it appears that this hotel use to be an apartment complex because it is certainly […] an extended stay type of place. The receptionist at the front desk was a little to unprofessional for my taste i.e. swearing while she spoke to one of the other women and nails were so long she struggled picking up the room keys from the desk. The parking lot was lit well enough and I never felt unsafe like some people did according to other hotels reviews. My biggest problem with the room was that the door needed to be slammed a little in order for it to shut all the way and lock. Luckily I thought to check it when we left our room the first time because it just pushed right open. The breakfast was nothing fancy but quite enjoyable for what it was. Have been to this hotel a few weeks ago. This time the room did not have an LCD tv, so it was ok, but the internet worked. Last time the manager had to spend 1 hour getting internet hooked up. I like the full size kitchen, and I always bring my own coffee and filters, so I really enjoyed having a full size coffee maker. It was comfy the location was great. It could use a little maintaining , kitchen cabinets were falling apart but other than that it is a nice quiet hotel.

We stayed in the room with the queen size bed and pull out couch and it was very cramped for four guest. The bathroom and sink area was large though, but they didn't have a trashcan anywhere but the kitchenette. So overall, it was a fine place for just a one night stay.

The rates were definitely reasonable but we were disappointed with the quality of the room overall. It really needs some remodeling. We have stayed in other Hotel Suites that were much nicer.

A real nice suite. Rooms on side close to nightclub is a little noisey. Next time I will request room on other side.

The hotel was easy to find, right off the HWY 20, Welcome staff was personally, the room was clean but the fixures in the room was old and did not work like they was suppose to. Over all it was like an apartment, it did not make me feel like it was special.

At first glance this place seems ok, and probably wouldn't be so troubling if you get a room near the front, but the rooms in the back are poorly lit. They seem to have a large percentage of weekly/long term residents, many of which appear to be thugs and ne'er do wells. There was broken safety glass on the ground in several places in the parking lot. There was loud music and shouting until 3am. We were In town for the New Years Eve party at the Casinos. And was unable to get a room at the casinos, so I had to find another source. The stay at the Mainstay was a reasonable price hotel and the stay was comfortable. Had a little of problem with the air conditioner dripping during the night but it didn't keep us up. We stayed at this hotel Dec 2011. The beeping noise of the construction machinery next door made it difficult to sleep.

unit was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Next trip I will request a room on opposite side away from club next door. Could hear loud music late at night.

First of all I want to say the staff was great! With that being said, the dust in my room was two inches thick. There was also hair, EVERYWHERE! I do not do well with others hair in my space. After calling, they did send housekeeping right away. Over all for the money, good stay.

Room was nice. More than i expected. Very quiet at night, able to relax. Full kitchen with dishwasher. Living area. Full size king bed. At a reasonable price.

We were passing through Louisiana and were tired, so we decided to stop for the night in Bossier City. This motel is right off I-20, easy to find. I can't say anything about the surrounding neighborhood, as it was pretty late when we checked in and left first thing the next morning. The room included a full kitchen. enjoyed our stay very much it was more like a condo than a hotel fire place, couch, bed, kitchen with stove coffee pot and pans. even cups and mugs. my wife and i enjoyed our stay and all the casino's were reasnobly close. we would definitley go back!

Hotel was nice, clean and had everything in it you could possibly need... only problem was the people in the room across from us were having a LOUD party - very inconciderate but the hotel shut it down as quickly as they could.

Short drive to the casinos and the shopping center near Bass Pro Shop. First room had a bad smell of urine, but night manager didn't hesitate to assign another room just one door over. Will stay here again. Love the waffles and biscuits & gravy for breakfast. Nice pool and tennis court and grill for guests. Friendly staff and very clean. If you go for a walk, pay attention to where you are because the twists and turns in the walkway will get you confused, it happened to me! A nice little home away from home.

Better than I expected! Like a little apartment! Full kitchen, comfy bed and fireplace! Perfect for me and my kids! We had read reviews before we came so I knew to ask for a room AWAY from the night club next door. We loved it!

On October 21, 2011,my fiancee and I were guest at the hotel. The room smelled like smoke and we reserved a non smoking room. A child was bouncing a basketball outside our bedroom door at 7:30am.This is very annoying when you want to sleep in a bit longer. The surrounding area looked deplorable, run down and unsafe. Wow, we were pleasantly surprised. We read a bunch of the comments and were a little hesitant, but we gave it a try. HUGE room(s) for the price. We had great service from the staff. I spent at least 30 mins on the phone with tech supprt trying to get on the internet, then someone came to my room and finally figured out it was the firewall on my computer. […] First time I have ever had this problem, but the staff did everything they could to help me out. The towels were dingy; need to be whitened. The bath tub had rust in it. The glass in the kitchen cabinet had dirt in it, and there was too much noise. Meaning the traffic fom the highway made it awful for me to sleep.

Close to a couple of restaurants and a night club (Rockin' Rodeo). Walking distance. Room was huge. Didn't get to try the pool though. I would stay here again.

I didn't notice until the next morning but the bottom sheet has stains on it. The sheet was tucked under the mattress. Now, I don't believe the sheets had been charged from the previous reservation - traveler. This is nasty and not sanitary at all. GROSS!!! I liked the hotel and had planned to stay there again but I will not.

The sheets had not been changed and the room was not what I wanted to deal with that late at night had to sleep on towel and still did not sleep could not cover up!!!

Last minute stay so affordable options were limited, stayed here and loved it. Will definately be back!
