We had a cargo box on top of our minivan & specifically pointed that out to guest services. They did find no roof parking which was great but didn't mention we had to go through bottom level to get out & of course we didn't fit because of our cargo box. This is an excellent hotel with all the amenities expected. The rooms and beds were in excellent condition and everything was very clean. The only downside is that it really isn't close to anything. While the hotel offers a free shuttle to the nearest Metro station, the shuttle only runs every half hour and it takes about 10 minutes to get there and […] 20 minutes to return (the return takes a detour by Reagan National airport). For the reduced price this hotel is a great option. I picked this hotel for the free shuttle services from the air port and to a mall. That was great saved on having to rent a car. Then we used a tour bus to get around as well as the metro. The hotel made my 1 st experience to Washington, DC very very enjoyable. Thank you.

excellent place for meeting and pleasure

Everything was good, except hair was everywhere I would not pay for internet service all of the hotels give it to you for free rooms cost munc,why do you have to pay to use it,what makes your internet so munch beter . AKA BooBoo

What can I say but this hotel is A class all the way, the only thing that I didnt like about it was that I had to pay for parking, otherwise, great hotel, great room, location great 10 mins from downtown D.C.

Very Nice View, Excelent Hotel

Several buildings in this complex. I stayed in the "Retreat" which is accessible to the main tower via an extended hallway. Retreat rooms have nice balconies overlooking the pond. Be forewarned...parking cost $18/night. Hotel restaurant was good but pricy.

This hotel was one of the best I've stayed. The rooms were always extremely clean, fresh towels and toiletries and helpful staff. The hotel was quite a distance from downtown DC but the hotel provided a shuttle both to Reagon National Airport and to the metro. This make it very easy to get around. And much more affordable than other hotels.

Great hotel! Recently refurbished and A+ decor...$18 parking is a little steep and no alternative to park anywhere but at the hotel. Friendly staff....

I was disappointed at the extra parking fee and crib rental, as other hotels do not charge for these services.

There is no public transportation, though there is hotel shuttle bus every 1/2 hour. The bathroom light is blinding. A night light would improve things. Internet connection is expensive.

I stayed here for three nights. The first night, I found a bedbug in my bed. The 300 dollars for incidental charges was a bit much considering this is a lower end hotel and parking fees are outrageous. The staff was not too friendly either. This hotel is so beautiful, we didn't want to leave our room. My only advise is that customers check their statement before checking out because we got charged for a phone call we didn't make. Also, note that there is a $18 parking fee.

This was a very nice hotel. Nicer than what i had anticipated and the location was ideal if you want to travel into DC city. Staff was friendly and helpful. Cant forget about the Finn and Porters restaurant downstairs, they had amazing oysters and the sushi bar was mediocre, nothing too special. I was pleasantly surprised, however we did not get the balcony as adverstised for the corner king rooms. Staff very pleasant and the price was right!

i really enjoyed my stay, hotel is located in a very good location. only problem i had was it seems that house keepen staff tryed to recycle towels that was not used by the previous guess..

We loved this hotel. A good price in my opinion for a hilton hotel. The shuttle takes you to Pentagon City metro station for free. Makes getting to the attractions easy while leaving your car in the secure covered parking of the hotel. Very cumfy king bed and pillows! very convinient place to airport and Washington Dc Mall. Free shuttle every half an hour. Strong recommend

We enjoyed our stay at the Hilton; everything was well maintained and clean. The concierge was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast offered was delightful and our waiter, Eric, created an enjoyable atmosphere.

The exterior of the hotel is beautiful as is the lobby. Our room was more than we expected considering the price we paid so that was another plus. The onyly complaints we had were that our linens were stained (caused by the washing machine, so we were told) and the tub did not appear to be thoroughly cleaned. The Hilton Mark Hotel in Alexandria is such a wonderful place to stay. I will make it my hub. I have been coming to Washington a lot and never thought it was so convenient. Was delighted. Superb.
