location was good, rooms are big and clean. Bed was uncomfortable.

Decent for the price- nice balcony and pool- nothing special, ideal for budget conscious.

Hotel staff were pleasant. Location & price were perfect. We had a lovely ocean view. Nice, quiet room. I was a little dissapointed in the overall appearance of the room (colors, etc) however it was very clean. It took me a little time to figuire out that the hot & cold water were reversed in the shower. Also, i couldn't get the room to warm up so had […] to sleep with a lot of clothes on. The hotel lobby looks fantastic, but that is where it ends. The room is old, but with a new coat of paint, the bed is the most umcomfortable bed I have been in since I was in the military, and the shower head came to about chest height (I'm only 5'11' - apparently in the 1950's people were alot shorter)

We arrived tired and worn out. We were greeted at the desk in a warm manner.The staff went out of their way to do all that they could for us! We would like to add an extra thank you for taking such great care of us! Loved our peek at the ocean!

Okay maybe not a dump, but it was not a pleasant stay. The pics are deceiving. Staff wasn't friendly. There was hair in the sink of my bathroom. And get this: no bed spreads! I called and asked for one and they said the new owner changed it to basically a white sheet! just had some lines, which somehow was considered a bedspread. The place needs new […] carpets, it had graffiti carved in the elevator, it was trying to look elegant/kid friendly with Disney type furnishings in the hallways. It was hideous. Totally incongruent. The pool and hot tub were okay- a little shabby. The TV was a dinosaur from the early 90's at best. Bottom line, I would NEVER stay there again. The place wreaks of "cheap" I was VERY disappointed. When I asked for a bedspread, they actually brought me a torn pink cotton blanket that looked like something I found in my Grandma's closet when I was a kid. It was like being on Candid Camera. All I can do is laugh, take my lumps, and never ever go there again. It's a few blocks from the beach, so my advice is get one closer even if it's a little more. It'd be worth every penny even if it were shabby too, because hey, you'd have the beach. But, either way, best of luck. If you do stay there, lower your expectations to about a 2 star and you'll be prepared. További részletek

...to relax and enjoy an overview room. Rooms were very clean and enjoyed the quiet very much!

I had been to the Palos Verdes Inn when I was growing up and I was saddened to see that it was fairly run down on this trip. The room was clean, but furnishings were sparse. If you just want a room to sleep in then this is place for you. There is on art work in the rooms and the furniture & fixtures are super dated.The wifi is free but not strong enough to stream movies to your device. The location is perfect. You can walk to everything.

We decided to check out the Palos Verdes Inn due to how great the rooms looked on this website. Unfortunately, when we entered our room we realized that we had been victims of the classic "bait and switch". Our room looked nothing like the rooms that we saw on the website. The paint and walls were chipping throughout the room and the hotel - it was […] really bad. The paint and decor of the hotel hallways was disgusting. They only had an ice machine at one end of the floor. If your room is at the far end of the hotel, get ready to walk a long ways just to get some ice. The bed was absolutely horrible - no cushioning at all. There were only two electrical outlets in the entire room and each outlet had a surge protector plugged into it that was filled. Not very convenient if you are wanting to charge you laptop, cell phone, ipad, etc. I had to climb underneath the bed in order to find a plug just so I could plug in my cell phone. The fridge had been turned off, which was fine - I understand that they want to save some money. Unfortunately, the fridge had spots of mold throughout it. We opted to not put anything in there. The bathroom was terrible as well. Mold was also in the shower. It was tiny. You had to cram yourself next to the toilet just so you could close the door. I understand that most people are not booking a hotel room for the television, but I enjoy a nice tv when I am trying to relax. This television must have been there since they built the hotel - terrible. The provided remote control had all of the button descriptions worn off, so you had to guess which buttons were which. I will never recommend this hotel to a friend or an enemy for that matter. While the location is great, you can stay at a fantastic hotel just up the street for the same amount of money. The hotel has seen better days - BUT- You cannot beat the location and the rate is pretty good. I have stayed at this hotel for the last 3 years during the Christmas Holiday. We spent there 4 nights and the thing I liked most about this hotel is its location in Redondo Beach: even though there is some traffic on the street next to the hotel, it is quite calm and you don't hear it in your room. The streets are very wide, the hotel is in a nice and rather calm residential neighbourhood, and for me (as a turist) it was a nice […] place to escape LA Downtown, Hollywood, etc. Plus, you really can see the ocean from your room (the beach is a 10 minute walk) and there is a nice pancake restaurant next to the hotel. The Palos Verdes Inn is located just across the street from Chicago for Ribs, a restaurant with a good menu and reasonable prices. There are plenty of other places to eat nearby, plus Jamba Juice and Starbucks just down the street. The staff was friendly and helpful. Não precisa reservar, bom dependendo de quanto tempo vai ficar em LA. Não fica perto dos principais pontos de LA, mas lá tb nada fica perto.....bom preço.
