I enjoyed my stay, with one exception. The service, hotel facilities (including free wi-fi and access to a decent printer), location (it is very close to Nyhavn and the Metro station at Kongens Torv) and the quality of the breakfast buffet were excellent. The exception was a disturbance caused by the noisy behaviour of two guests during the early hours […] of the second morning. The night clerk dealt with the matter firmly and the offending guests were asked to leave next morning. The location is a great positive - It's right next door to Nyhavn with its harbour and cafes and bars, and also just a 5 minute walk to the main shopping area Strotget. So can't beat it on location. There's no better location to be had that where Hotel Opera is located. Steps from everything you would want to see -- Little Mermaid, Nyhavn, Tivoli, Stroget. Plus, the hotel staff is extremely friendly and went out of their way to allow us to check in early since we were obviously tired from the flight from the US. the hotel is just a 5 minute walk from the Metro and about 3 minutes from Nyvtan where there are plenty of restaurants. I paid for a deluxe two twin room and got a a very small room on a very noisy street, people yelling and drunk. The room lighting was so dark, it was hard to read a book. Everything else about the hotel was very nice.

Hotel is very central, close to metro public transportations. Hotel is a bit worn down. The room I had was small (even though booked as double). Staff was correct and had an open-minded service mind. Breakfast buffee w/o warm dishes.

The location of the Hotel Opera would be hard to beat on a short stay in Copenhagan. A short stroll from the Nyhavn area for an evening meal or drinks. It was easy to get to following a short metro ride form the airport and within 5 mins walk to shopping and sights. I would defiantly recommend it

Great location but we've never stayed in such a tiny room in our very travelled lives, nor such a dark one. Desk staff was rather grouchy when we arrived. Does not merit 3 stars.

The location was excellent and both the hotel and neighborhood were quiet. Breakfast was good though the room got crowded at times. Room was poorly lit and no ventilation except for the open window. Hotel Opera is located on a quiet side-street within easy walking distance to all of Copenhagen's major attractions. The staff is cordial and breakfast is great for a small hotel. Bus stops and the Metro are only a block away. We will definitely stay there the next time we are in Copenhagen.

Very good location and facilities like WiFi work everywhere. The maintenance is a little tardy as it took 2 days to replace a faulty light bulb in the room. The rooms are dimly lit and suitable for business travellers. Great place to stay to see the city and catch the sights.

Hotel is claimed to be a non-smoking property. It is not true, everyone seems to smoke weed there. There is undoubtful smell in all the rooms (I've been in three of them). Well, that's finally what some people come to Copehhagen for. Rooms are very small, there is only 1 socket in a room which is inconvenient. I really enjoy this hotel and Ive stayed there twice. Its a small hotel, very old, and has the sweetest elevator youve ever seen. Breakfast is excellent and the staff are very, very nice.
