If you're not looking for any amenities, and just a place to stay for the night, it was a good value for the money.

we needed a inexpensive hotel for one night. this fit the bill. very nice hotel and staff was helpfull. i would definately stay again

THE ROOM WAS CHEAP ENOUGH BUT THE BED WAS SO HARD IT WAS DIFFICULT TO SLEEP.THE ROOM WAS COLD SO WE TURNED UP THE HEAT AND BY MORNING IT HAD SHUT OFF AND WE WERE COLD AND THERE WAS NO EXTRA BLANKETS ANY WHERE IN THE ROOM. The first room we stayed in was toward the back of the hotel close to where there were weekly rentals. The weekly rental people made a LOT of noise, in and out to smoke and up and down the stairs. The next morning, we complained and were moved to a new room on the other side of the hotel. That room was quiet and we then enjoyed our stay. The hotel was run-down, people milling around the front dooor smoking. That scent carried into the hotel. The beds were hard and comforteres were pretty tired looking. Our bathtowel (and we only had two for 3 people) were tiny, tiny. We chose this hotel because it offered breakfast, but the meal was pretty meager.

Everything was just OK. The breakfast had waffles but the syrup had no taste. The bed was a little hard but the pillows were great. I slept very well. I am very picky about the smell of the room (non-smoker) and it was just fine. I felt I wouldn't stay again for the price I paid but would be extremely happy to stay there if they were the same price […] as LivInn Suites (~$65). We reserved a room with a king sized bed. When we arrived, they didn't have any rooms available with king sized beds so they put us in a room with two double beds. but it worked great for our stay. It was easy to get to. The staff was friendly and courteous. We were in town for the Twins/Yankee's game (TWINS WON!) and then off to Valley Fair the next day. Just needed a place to lay the head and a shower to start the next day, it worked awesome!

Very quiet! Clean room, plenty of hot water, extremely helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Have had several great stays here!

My only complaint is that the hotel back enter door needs to be fixed.

This hotel was nice for the price we paid for it. There was nothing fancy about it and it seemed slightly out-dated. We didn't need room service for anything and we were only there for one night. It got the job done. Overall I would probably stay there again, but only if for one night...I would not make a vacation out of this hotel.

Good service, expected room size. Had a little bit of "older" smell, but got use to it. Did smell natural gas on the way in, however, we were walking past tthe meter which was behind sime bushes. Overall, the expected price for an expected room.

I arrived early and I was greeted by very friendly staff. I was placed in my room without hesitation. I was told about the breakfast that was offered and given directions to my room with a smile. The rooms were neat, clean and very comfortable. There was internet access which was quick and easily accessible. I will definately be staying there again […] soon! Spend the extra money and get a better hotel. Exterior doors were propped open to let crazy people in and out. Comforters had holes worn in them (both of them)! Pretty dirty room, paint falling off walls etc. Cheap room, but if you can afford a little more there are two other hotels next door. They had a box of Wal-Mart doughnuts for the breakfast.

well the check in went just fine, nice and quick- however the place is much older than it looks in the pictures. The room was okay for the price I paid but the Bed was as stiff as if I were to sleep on the floor! There are fridges in the rooms but no microwave! The floors needed vacuuming and the soap scum in the bottom of the shower wasn't attractive. The vent did a great job of heating the window because it shot up right behind the curtains. All in all... I expected more but it wasn't horrible.

Stayed here for 2 nights to ski and visit Mall of America. Close to both. Located in a cute little circle drive. The outside looked like a cute little ski lodge. Had continental breakfast, not a big one but good enough. All the other hotels around the price of this one didn't have any breakfast.

In for Bears Vikings game for two nights. It was a decent place in a quit area. Not 5 star quality but it served its purpose, comfy beds, quit rooms, and accessable to all local distinations. I recommend this to anyone looking to save money on hotel stay and spend that money elsewhere.

The hotel was very conveniently located just of I-494, great for getting out of town to the north in the mornings, gas station and good restaurant located close so this is a great place to stay if traveling through.

Poeple were friendly. I was worried when read reveals but found rooms comfort good. Shower head needed cleaning. But room was clean and we were well taken care of. No fruit at breakfast but I will take the money I saveved and bought fruit. Staff told me places to go and were good restaurants were. Clean, friendly, secure and close to almost all the locations I needed on my visit.

For the price I paid, I wasn't expecting too much, but I wanted to leave when I got into the room. This hotel needs a lot of care and attention. It is starting to look rather used and not kept. The hallways are gross and smelt like smoke badly. The room smelt horrible, like mildew and stale water. Later I discovered the moldy shower curtain probably […] had something to do with that. The towels are old and need to be replaced. Even though they say they have wi-fi, it doesn't work with all electronic devises. The breakfast is not worth it, no fresh fruit, but plenty if burnt coffee. All in all this was one of the most disappointing hotel stays I have had. Definitely will not be staying here again. This hotel is really dated and needs alot of maintenance. The breakfast was just ok.... could use some fresh fruit....would rather have gone out. For the price of the hotel... I expected a lot more.It was clean and was convienient for what we needed. Too overpriced for what it was.

You get what you pay for....low price, but bed is not comfortable, air conditioner is loud in room and doesn't work that great...hotel back door that is supposed to be shut for key card entry only is frequently open...the breakfast is okay, and the people at the front desk are very nice.

This hotel was very clean. Has a nice surounding area. Was quiet. Plenty of different Restaurants and Fast Food venues to choose from close by. The service was good, as was the location. The room, however, was rickety and old. The air conditioner was in poor running condition and released a funky smell.

very good hotel, the only thing i didnt like was that the first day they didnt come to change towels, sheets or take out the garbage. but the rest of the time they did so. overall super clean, good breakfast and very good job @ the reception desk

The hotel was centrally located to the zoo, Valleyfaire and the mall. The room was small, but clean. I was disappointed in the hotel staff. Although it was a room for 4, there were only enough towels, glasses, etc. for 3. We asked that it be stocked for 4, but every day had to go to the desk and ask for more. The regular coffee ran out one morning, and we had to wait for almost an hour for it to be refilled, even though the person at the desk said they would get to it right away. The waffle mix ran out one morning, and was not refilled while I was there. While the rooms were adequate and the location great, I don't think I would recommend this hotel to anyone. When we got to our hotel the temperature outside was in the mid 80's. The lobby door was propped open and there was no air conditioning in the lobby or common areas of the hotel, ie, hallways. The fitness area was closed and marked out of order. We never saw a pool or whirlpool. The price was way to high for the amenities. Our room appeared clean but […] smelled a bit mildewy. We turned on the air and went to meet with friends and have dinner. Got back to our room after 9pm and the floor/carpet was wet by the air conditioner to about 3 feet away from it.
