"Alright for the price"
Room was non smoking but reeked of cigarette smoke. I have noticed this in most days inns. Breakfast was good and front desk was very helpful. Overall ok for the price.

My only disappointment was that the pool wasn't open. I had booked here because I thought it would be. Guess I missed some fine print somewhere. Otherwise the hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. Very helpful with directions to where we needed to go.

"ECONOMICAL EASY WEST POINT STAY!"
We stayed over the weekend and found the place to be clean, comfortable, and easy to travel to from West Point. I was disappointed on Sunday morning that they closed the breakfast at 9 am. Ugh! The staff was the best and the rooms were clean and the maid service was the best anything you asked for, within reason was done. I would recommend this Days Inn to any one.
"quiet and comfortable"
We stayed over St. Patty's weekend. We had a room on the parking lot side. It was very quiet, clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was just enough to get started in the morning (juice, coffee, cereal, bagels and English muffins). I heard the coffee was so so. Plenty of food options close by.

I have been a guest at this hotel in the past, and it has been a stable place to stay. There is nothing elegant about the room- but for the price , it is a very clean, very secure place to spend the night. I recently was up in Newburgh and stayed at Knights Inn on 17K, and was shocked at the poor conditions ( thugs in the lobby, no heat in the room, […] a toilet that had to be shut off after each flush and had to have a plunger left by the mtc staff since they could not clear the clog) Nothing like that at the Days Inn- the carpets were clean, the bathroom seemed well maintained. Friendly, helpful front desk staff. Continental breakfast was ordinary, but adequate. Diner and restaurant located adjacent to property for variety. Rooms were clean but on the small side. They were well appointed and comfortable.
"Fine for an overnight"
This hotel fit the bill for an overnight stay. The hotel staff were friendly and efficient. it's important to know that although the pool is listed as indoors, it is a seasonal pool in an unheated but covered area. Not what I expected or wished to pay for. Nevertheless, the room was spotless and the location just off !-84. Breakfast was adequate.

With the blue sink, counter, tub & tile, the bathroom is very outdated. However, it was very clean and newly grouted. The bedspreads & curtains are dark, dreary and dated also. Our stay was comfortable, but a little high priced in my opinion. You get a 10% discount on the diner out in front of the hotel. "Good location if you are climbing at the Gunks"
This is a great room and price. I booked the second week in November. There were some people staying, but the hotel was mostly empty. So the inside was quiet. The only thing is that I could hear the highway traffic from my room and it kept me up. I figured as much when I saw the map, but booked the room anyway. Even at 10pm I expected the road noise […] to die down a lot but it really didn't die down that much. I booked this location because it was close to my rock climbing site. "Always pleased"
We stay here several times a year, every year and the rooms are always clean and comfortable. Service is excellent. Our only complaint is that non-smoking queen rooms are at the back of the hotel, on the second floor and therefore look out on the back parking lot. We would much prefer having the choice of a queen room overlooking the lake. At one point […] during the evening, it smelled like someone was actually smoking in our room. The smell seemed to be coming through the heat/ac unit. It would make much more sense to have non-smoking rooms on the ground floor since smoke rises! Overall, a great place to stay. 2 Double beds room. Went during power outages in October 2011 Snowstorm. 2 story building. Close to Stewart Airport and casual dining. Also close to intersection of Rt. 84 and the New York Thruway. The hotel is a nice break from shopping at the outlet malls. Convenient since wallmart and other food stores are in the surrounding area.
