"Days Inn Wasau is Terrible - do not stay here"
Room was pathetic with incredibly super small bathroom. I did not get any sleep as the drunk neighbors above me were running around in their room all night. Next door neighbor was fighting with his wife, shouting at top of their lungs and on the other side they were blasting their TV to drown out the noise from everyone else. I was very unhappy with my stay there! The bed was harder then a rock and there was a dirty towel in the room! They must allow pets also because when we went to bed that night a dog barked in the room next to ours! The next morning the hallway smelled like dog pee!! I would never stay there again.

"Great for convenience with some glitches"
The hotel's walls are paper thin and any little noise can be heard from adjoining rooms above, below and to each side as well as noise from outside. If you are expecting to get a nights sleep with out interruptions you may not find it here.

"smoky in need of update"
While the room was a low cost option, the room was outdated, musty and smoky. The hotel seemed to be overrun with teenagers partying until 4am on a weekday. Would not stay again.

The only good thing about this hotel was the location. Otherwise I was not happy with a single thing about this stay. the TV did not work, it was loud, the hotel stated it was non smoking but it reaked of smoke.

The main road near the hotel is being torn up. It seemed like there was an accient there every hour. Construction in Wausau was a nightmare!

"Close to Tomahawk Fall Ralley"
We had a great time at the Wausau North Days Inn. We were only their 1 night and I know the area so we had no trouble finding a good place to eat and relax. Rooms were very comfortable and extra clean. Friendly staff made the stay a joy and we will return !!

"Days Inn North - Wausau - basic clean reasonable"
The rooms were fine. Anytime I find a room with a clock radio and coffee maker I'm good. This is a basic hotel, no pool, small exercise room. But it met my needs this time. Nice breakfast and the check-in and check-out went smoothly.

The rooms were nice and clean. Service was good and the help was very friendly.
Don't bother! The room was dirty to the pint I did t want to take my shoes off! Reeked of cigarette smoke in the hallway and room!
I had perfect accommodations for one person needing rest on a long drive. The pleasant comfortable room had what I needed without excessive amenities I don't care to pay for. I appreciated the hotel's respect for the environment . The young woman at the desk was very helpful. Road construction caused some problem in reaching the hotel.

Very nice, clean little room. AC worked! Great for people just looking for a place to stay the night. Hotel staff was very friendly. The complimentary breakfast was excellent compared to some others I have had from like hotels, with a good range of items, none of which were "old." We would stay here again.

Location convenient to USH 51 freeway and northern Wausau. Basic room with a small bathroom but adequate for our needs considering the reasonable price. Comfortable bed. Excellent continental breakfast although the dinning room was small with limited space for seating.

This hotel is a couple miles from the freeway, but the price is worth the drive. The other Days Inn was right next to the freeway, but it is also with the truck stops which makes entering and exit difficult.

Booked this hotel for myself and a friend to go skiing at Granite Peak as a cheap place to crash after the day was done. "Okay in some ways, but reeked of smoke"
My "non-smoking" room nevertheless reeked of stale smoke. It was so powerful that my clothes smelled like smoke well after I left the hotel. Breakfast was decent, and location was convenient.

"Wausau Overnight"
Found this a pleasant, reasonably price hotel for my overnight visit. Direct access to the highway and sufficient services nearby. Staff was very nice.
"very bad night..."
Floors were sticky at check-in. Door going outside did not latch therefore it slammed against the door frame EVERY time that someone went in and out. the water in my bath was brown and rusty. The bed was so squeeky it was enough to wake me up every time I moved.

I enjoyed my stay in this hotel. The staff was for the most part friendly, and the room was clean and cozy. Other guests were a little loud, but not unbearably so. Breakfast was pretty good, too, with hard boiled eggs, cereal, fruit, muffins, etc. I think it was a nice enough place for the price.

We arrived very late at night. There were some initial problems with the key card, but the night manager realized there was a problem and came to help before we could even ask. There was stains all over the bed making me very uncomfortable. I understand the rooms are cheap but I didn't think that would mean to sleep in a room full of stains.
