We wanted to stay at a cheap hotel to save costs before our actual family vacation began and this place was cheap! Positives - The room was very clean and the beds were comfy. Negatives- the room was hot with a tiny window A/C duck taped through a wall that did not work well, the hotel was on the train tracks with about 4 or 5 trains through the night, […] the hotel was advertised to have infant cribs available but the hotel did not even own any, resulting in a TERRIBLE night sleep for myself cause my 14 month old had to sleep with me and that just doesn't work. And finally we needed a guy to come fix the TV and once he did he actually sat there and watched the news program for a few minutes! WHAT? I had to tell him twice thankyou and I could figure out the rest from there. If this hotel was 1/2 the price these would not be issues but too much for too little. További részletek

THE MAINTENANCE ON THIS LOCATION IS NOT BEING DONE. I REALIZE THAT THE EXTERIOR IS BEING REDONE, BUT THAT HAS BEEN HAPPENING FOR ALMOST A YEAR NOW.......... NO HOT WATER.......HAIR DYER DIDNT WORK......... They had some renovations going on so it was a litte hard to get to rooms, but nice room clean. Will stay again when in Edmonton.

Horrible room, filthy, years of filth in ac filter and on phone. Had to use hand sanitizer to clean cuz too late to get another room elsewhere. Trains keeping us up all night. Not to mention the two hooded guys pounding on the door at 3am. Most horrible hotel experience of my life.

I was strapped with a budget for accomodations staying in Edmonton for work. This was not my first or fifth choice. Only saving grace was that my gym and a grocery store were across the street. Construction on the Motel made it very hot, the first room I had was sprayed with cologne or something so I had to switch. The second room had fingerprints in […] something as thick as jam on the telephones and wall switches. The kitchenette area had an after-market AC jammed into the wall which didn't really work. Train tracks behind the building = loud as hell at night. I'm not a fan of Edmonton itself, but this place was the pits. During our recent stay I was extremely disappointed with the accommodations. We found that our room was cold (even though we turned up the heat). The door to the room wasn't properly sealed - you could see the daylight through the edges of the door and the cold draft was terrible. The other issue was that there is a train shunting area located immediately […] to the rear of the building which resulted in additional noise to contend with at various stages of the night. Our third issue was that the buiiding is not very sound proof at all and we had to contend with other guests partying until around 4:30 in the morning and then back at it a few hours later at 7:00 a.m.!! I've stayed at this Econolodge many times in the last few years and have always found everything just fine. But this time there was no heat in the room, the outside temp in the morning was only 3C and in the room I'd say it was 12 - 15. Not nice at all. I assume the heat hadn't been turned on yet.....

As a housekee and supervisor for 10 yrs I know what acceptable and is not. When I walked in the room i was immediately disappointed.The room was a non- smoking room but there was burn marks on the table. There was stains on carpet. The bathroom fan was so noisy. There's a busy street out front, which makes for a convenient location, but I wasn't prepared for the loud train out back during the night. Not the best location.
