Hampton Inn St. Augustine Beach - St. Augustine

The air conditioner was noisy, Bathroom was disappointing, Needed new lighting and a new Bath tub was stained had a soft spot in the middle, shower curtain was too far into tub awkward. Dining hall needs a professional paint job. Paint drips all over the based boards.For the price I expected better quality.

Everything about this hotel is amazing. Service was excellent. The room that we had (king bed w/ jacuzzi spa w/ balcony and ocean front view). The price is well worth it.

Had a great weekend in St. Augustine. Chose the King Size Oceanfront room with the Whirlpool Tub. The room was just as advertised and shown on the website. The only downside was the room was on the 2nd floor immediately overlooking the pool. The proximity to the walkway and the pool was less than desirable. The view from the room had a limited view […] of the beach / ocean. Tree cover prevented that. Being on the upper floors would have offered a better view. sought a hotel that offered ocean view rooms for an overnight stay in one of our most favorite areas of the United States, St Augustine. We were on a budget this trip so had to choose carefully, but decided to splurge one night and state at the Hampton Inn which advertised ocean view rooms. What they called an ocean view was a balcony room on the 2nd floor which when seated on the balcony you can look over a parking lot then over the roof of homes to a sliver, and I mean a sliver, of the ocean in the distance. The hotel is not directly on the beach but sets back probably a 1000 ft. from the shore. Sooooo disappointed and of course they were booked solid so could not move to another room which might offer a better view (that would only happen MAYBE if you get the room on the top floor at the very NORTH corner of the hotel!). So, yes, very disappointed in this hotel as I had very specific reason for choosing it and I don't think they should be able to advertise as ocean front. Hotels across the street have just as much access to the beach and only have to walk across the street then down to the shore. Have I said disappointed enough? További részletek

Everything was as expected except for one day my bed was not made instead a note was left saying they didn't want to touch my CPAP mask, so they didn't change the sheets or make the bed.

On Friday 5/3 the water/sewer system failed and the hotel failed to inform guest in timely mannner ..I had extended my stay due to the weather and business conference. The hotel did not offer any guest incentives.

We had a beachside view, which was nice; however, one bed's mattress was wornout (we kept sliding to the middle), refrigerator was very loud (unplugged it at night) and breakfast was just ok. hotel was picture perfect except for one thing, our room was right next to the elevators and the maid service area which is tile floors(heard carts rolling around at 8AM). We were a little surprised at the condition of the property. We fought to get the door open as it scraped on the floor so bad you had to put a shoulder to it. The shower head was broken and the sofa bed was so worn that you could not sit on it.

I would rate it straight 5's except for the noise generated by neighboring rooms with jacuzzi tubs. Pretty noisy! However, the tub itself is great, as was the ocean view, the room, the desk, etc. GREAT location.

My husband stayed in this hotel and took a street side room since it was jsut an overnight stay. When we looked at the ocean side rooms we realized that's what we would be booking next time. We havejust booked the oceanside King suite for 2 nights and can't wait. Hope weather is sunny....,

We very much appreciate Hampton Inn's amenities -- free WiFi, free breakfast, the assurance of clean duvet covers and sheets, etc. -- all at a reasonable price point. This particular hotel is right on the ocean front. We had a good stay.

Great hotel front staff was really nice. We asked for a late check out and they actually gave us till 1 and we actually left before 11 cause my husband had to go to work. Breakfast was good. Very nice place and definitely would stay again and would like to stay longer. Would be great for a romantic getaway!

Arrived at 4:15, several people waiting to get checked into rooms, as rooms were not ready yet. When we did finally get to our room, first thing we noted was cleaning items left in the bathroom. I booked a jetted hotub room. It was really nice. Great access to a very wide beach. The bed was very comfy. Best coffee I had in Florida, in a hotel. Only issue I had was about 10 pm there was a fairly loud machine noise in my room and the hallway. I tried to call the front desk but they were not answering. It stopped after after 7,8 minutes.
