Shreveport - Days Inn Airport - Shreveport

My husband & I stayed here after he had a day surgery done. We had to be back the next day for a follow up and since we live about 1 1/2 hrs from hospital & Drs. we chose to stay overnight in the area. He was on crutches and the desk clerk was thoughtful enough to give us a room next to the elevator so he would not have so far to walk. I stayed near the airport in Shreveport for about half the price that my friends paid for another hotel across the interstate. Clean, safe, and quiet. Nothing fancy but no serious complaints either. I was surprised their pool wasn't cleaned and ready to go yet. It's late April and warm already in Louisiana!

The hotel was extremely close to the airport and the 20 interstate. It's a tad bit older and not remodeled but clean and friendly staff!

This hotel is good for the price. The water was hot and the breakfast was stocked.

A decent room for a really good price. Expect to get what you pay for though. Shower only had hot water and the sink had loose valves on the the handles.

The towels had grease stains the shower knob was broke will recommend stayin again just 2 get away for a night

We have stayed several times at this hotel and as usual it is very clean, comfortable, and safe. I will be back to Shreveport and will stay there again

WORST ROOM SERVICE EVER. NO LARGE TOWELS, NO COFFEE, ROOM WAS NOT STRAIGHTENED TWICE

elevator smelled like urine, shower/fawcet handles were loose.........asked for a wake up call at 5:30 and got it at 4:00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stairs on one side had a broken step that someone could of steped in and gotten hurt. The linens smelled like smoke and we were in a non smoking room. Convenience was great. Employess were super. I would stay there again because of the price.

This hotel and I use the word "hotel" loosely, was the worst ever. Although we did check in with the front desk we did not stay there for the night. While standing at the front office to check in there was a line of about 5 guests or at least people who I thought were guests. Most of the people waiting in line were homeless and trying to get us to let […] them stay in our room. The 1st bad sign this was not a good hotel. The gentleman checking in the guest moved very slowly but was well mannered and nice. My husband went to the room which was very little although it said it could accommodate four people. The room was very old, musty and not very clean. Although there is a very inexpensive pet deposit, there is no way I would even allow my dog to sleep in that room, let alone subjecting my family members to such conditions. I wish I had not prepaid to stay at this hotel as this was money wasted. I would never in my life time recommend this hotel. If you accidentally find yourself at this hotel my advice to you is run away as fast as you can!! További részletek

I had 2 rooms and was totally dissatisfied with everything, service, staff, and hotel itself. at best a 1 star rating. We all felt sick after our stay and now back home recovering

I will not recommend this hotel to anyone there wasnt a iron in the room are ironing board you have to leave out of your room and go to the front desk to get one that will mess up your clothes also this hotel has roaches and i don't want to take any of this to my house the mattress is hard and my back is aching

The room was clean and served the purpose. We visited Shereveport for the Mardi Gras celebration and had a wonderful time. Thank you hotels.com for the awesome rate on the room!

We had a problem with the TV, unable to use it due to no control, after receiving the control still unable to use the TV until the next day. They had to send the security guard to help us. Unable to get the operator in a timely manner. Had to call and recall to get them. Not very happy about the wait time to talk with someone.

The hotel clerk was new & was not trained on how to handle the Hotel.com check-in. She asked me to check the last four digits of the credit card I used & it was different. Finally someone with experience said all was OK. Once we parked next to the pool that was abandoned we got into a old dirty elevator and went to the third floor. My room didn't smell […] fresh, the light above the sink was dim for approx. 20 min. then lit properly. The toilet did not flush properly. The drain in the tub had a large rust stain. When I shaved the next morning the sink drained very slowly. Did I mention I was on the 3rd floor? Shouldn't have a drainage problem. The WiFi wasn't working. They were painting the lobby and things were a mess. The highlight of my trip was the waffle I made myself just prior to cancelling my 2nd nights stay. The room was older but clean, the floor sloped downward (concrete under the carpeting?). The toilet took two flushes to move the flow down the drain. Plenty of hot water Bathtub was small Basic cable on TV Beds were comfortable No creepy crawleys noted Coffee and tea available

Was the worse I have been in

Check in was at 3pm but my room was not available til almost 4pm. The air condition did not work well. Me and my girlfriend did not sleep very well. There was always noise right outside of our door. Not sure what the hotel could do about that but the premises did not seem safe or well kept.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had a very accomodating staff. The breakfast was as good as any contintal breakfast at other hotels and I liked the "pet friendly" option, we like to take our little dog with us. Room is in dire need of a remodel, bathroom and vanity area was nasty. Entry door had no seal and the air conditioner/heating unit was held up with a crusty piece of wood. Need I say more.

This hotel is in need of serious repair. The shower bar was falling off the wall as well as the toilet paper holder. The door was so bad that the security lock would not work making for a poor night sleep. The beds were like boards and the pillows were nothing to speak about. The Hotel is near the main Interstate and close to the Airport with surrounding food outlets.

i had some serious reservations about staying here due to the poor reviews about this facility and my own personal knowledge about this neighborhood(not good!) i needed to stay in shreveport for 8 days and my money was limited. so i chose this place. what a wonderful surprise!! such a quiet place! when i get off work , all i want to do is sleep! and […] it is usuallly in the daytime. the housekeeping staff were very amenable to my unusual hours. t he desk staff were courteous and efficient. there were some thuggy looking charectors around but there was no trouble. the rooms are inexpensive and not fancy. they are up to par though , especially for the price. the rooms are clean and security is provided 24/7. will i come back? i will be back in shreveport tomorrow for four days and i am staying here again! We chose the location due to it's proxmity to the airport. We ended up leaving shortly after midnight because of all the noise. Car alarms frequently alarming, people driving through the parking lot with loud music, etc. I didn't feel safe here and me and my spouse chose to leave. The room was not cleaned, except for changing the sheets and towels. There were cigarette ashes on the sink counter. There was hair and dried soap in the sink. There was also a bug in the room, which I would have tried to excuse if this were the only problem.

It is one of the worst maintained buildings I have ever seen. It made my worst list of places never to stay at again

I arrived late in the afternoon and was ready to relax. When i got to my room I needed a shower from a long day of driving. When I went in the bathroom, it was a hadicapped bathroom. The shower head was on a long hose and the holder was broken, so when I turned on the water it stated spraying water on the floor. After I finished and was ready to get […] out, there were no towels in the room at all, only a hand towel, which i used to dry off and then go to the office to complaine and ask for a new room. She gladly moved me and apologized. When i got to the new room I found it not well cleaned. There was "hair" on the toilet and the sink stopper was stuck closed so I could not use the sink or it would fill up. Also the Tv was in sad shape. Every channel had a weird hue of green which made it difficult to watch. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless there was no place left to stay. I am not happy at all with this stay.
