The Hotel really needs some TLC badly. Simple maintenance like the tightening of loose screws on tap heads are not done. Flapper valve on the toilet had a slow leak such that it would kick into refill mode every 30 min and wake you up. Entire Hotel needs a revamp not only as a way to take care of it's tired look but to also take care of major structural […] problems.....one of the balconies on the front has had it's floor joists rot out and is now being held up by a couple of doubled up 2x4's. I don't think the night staff are doing regular patrols of the hotel either in or out as the first night we stayed there there were people partying on the 2nd and 3rd floors till well after 2:30 in the morn and being very loud. they partied in the hotel rooms, hall, and in the parking lot at the back of the hotel. Older hotel but clean. Surrounding neighborhood a little shady. Locals say this part of town isn't the best - probably due to proximity of I-5. This was a very basic budget-friendly motel. The staff was great. The bathroom lock didn't work and we had some trouble with our key cards. Otherwise, the motel was clean and met our needs.

We stayed overnight on our way from Vancouver BC to Portland. The hotel is super clean. The beds were comfortable with tons of pillows. We normally stay at the Guest House Inn when in Bellingham, and accidentally booked the wrong hotel. Mistake number one. This hotel was disgusting. The building is run down and uncared for, there is no color or character, and the carpeting in the hallways and stairs were dirty. OK hotel for the price. It is an older hotel, but the rooms were clean. We didn't spend a lot of time in the room, so it was satisfactory for our needs. If you want all the bells and whitles, this would not be the hotel for you. If you just need a nice place to sleep, it will work.

Just a decent, clean place with free wifi and free (very basic) breakfast. A reasonably priced place to rest your head, but that's about it. There are no fancy hotels in Bellingham, but this place is reasonably priced and clean enough. There are no movies available in the hotel room.

We weren't expecting fancy, and it wasn't which was fine, but it was REALLY cold, had to wait half an hour under covers to heat room up. Staff was very helpful and friendly though. I think they might have raised regular prices for Black Friday, because if it were cheaper it would be more worth the lower comfort level.

For the long Thanksgiving drive - we used this place to stay so we could enjoy the visit/dinner with family. Nice location, ok rooms, cold continental breakfast, friendly staff at the desk, but the place itself could use a deep cleaning.
