Hyatt Place Independence - Independence

Squeaky beds! Really bad. Only complaint. Wish they would do something about their noisy beds. Besides that, best hotel I have been to.

i stayed here because my husband had to have surgery. We got this room at the last minute and although a bit more expensive than some of the hotels closer to the cleveland clinic, it made up in friendliness and comfort.

Only complaint was air conditioner had a smell. Awesome Room!!!!

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great location. Fantastic rooms.

It is a great place for family.

The location of the hotel was good in conjunction to Cleveland Clinic plus $150 cheaper a night than staying nearer. Lots of restaurants nearby. Liked having the cafe downstairs and a bar. Room was big, nice tv, mini fridge, free wifi. The bed was not very comfortable though. A bit hard for our taste, but everyone's different.

The overall experience was great, however, the only downside was the mattress was not very comfortable as there was a dip in the middle.

The Hyatt Place was contemporary and clean. Good customer service too. Room was really very nice except it was adjacent to elevator and I easily heard it operating, and people chatting while waiting for it. The breakfast bar was fantastic.

I will stay at this hotel again. It was out of Cleveland proper but in the perfect location for Cleveland sites and for visiting Cuyahoga Valley National Park. the room was large and clean. The only downside was that the beds in my room were not quite as comfortable as I would have liked (although I would still give it an overall 5 stars).

Nice, clean hotel with pleasant staff. Full Easter weekend, so breakfast buffet was a little crowded, but nice.

This hotel was everything plus more than we expected. The staff made us feel at home from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. I would recommend it to everyone. We will be staying at this hotel again and inviting our friends to join us their.

The stay for three of us was wonderful! Breakfast was great! The Hyatt Place in Independence would be recommended for anyone!

Pillows were mediocre... Stayed there before.... And will stay there again. Nice and clean.

Hotel room was wonderful. Comfortable bed. Great breakfast, workout room, and pool. Close to lots of shopping and restaurants. Thinking of taking my daughter this weekend for a "girls night overnight".

I stayed here for one night on a business trip. Long story short, I wasn't able to rent a car because of a mix up with my driver's license. I had to take a cab from the airport to the hotel. The next morning I enquired at the desk about getting a cab to take me to my business appointment. They took a look at my destination and said they could just take […] me in the hotel shuttle. great stay clean quiet environment spacious rooms.lot of nearby food locations to choose from. located right off 77. I look forward to staying here again.

Every aspect of this hotel exceeded expectations! The room was immaculate, the service outstanding, the breakfast top notch.

Our commode sat on wood shims, not knowing what that was all about. My traveling companion was kept awake most the night by the shuting off and the starting up of the hvac system in his room. Could have allowed a bit more moving around space in the bathroom proper.

Excellent staff, wonderful breakfast, great price. Highly satisfied.

Great for a business travel hotel. Stayed two nights and had a very nice stay. Breakfast was great and you were always able to find food or beverage in the lobby. Staff was incredibly helpful and attentive. Great find for the price!

Hotel staff was extremely efficient and went beyond our expections. Pool was okay but could use some updating and wished it had a whirlpool. Rooms were way bigger than we have had anywhere else. We would stay again. Breakfast was wonderful and way better than your usual continental breakfast.

My husband and I were very pleased with the room and even more so with your continental breakfast. It was outstanding. We'll be sure to stay at a Hyatt Place again in the future.

The room is a great value for the money; this is one of the biggest non-suite hotel rooms I've stayed in. The bedroom area was well partitioned from the living room area so it felt like two separate rooms. Unfortunately, the sofa bed was very uncomfortable; I spent half the night with springs in my sides. The television picture quality was horrible. […] No matter what station we were on, there were huge stripes across it that made the picture harder to see. The controls for the TV to choose different inputs were right on the side of the stand and it was hard to keep our daughter from pushing the buttons. Putting these in a different place would be nice. There was no hotel guide in the room, so we had to keep calling down if we had any questions (like where the pool was located, its hours, etc). We stayed here with our two small children, we choose the hotel because of the pool and the free breakfast. The pool was nice, the water was warm enough. The breakfast was satisfactory, but the second day the staff started to put away 5 minutes before closing time, and they started to clean the breakfast area while we were still there (the kids ate […] so slowly that day), and it was a little disturbing. In our reservation I specified that we will be 4, but we only have 3 towels, so I needed to ask one more. Next day the housecleaning didn't make the beds, and didn't refilled the coffee/tea/soap. What a pleasant surprise. These days it seems as though it's difficult to find a business that exceeds your expectations, but this Hyatt Place hotel has set the bar and others such as La Qunina or Holiday Inn should take note. A last-minute trip from the East Coast to Chicago with two kids, one a toddler, meant finding a hotel midpoint for a two-day […] drive. I considered many other hotels in the same price range, but based on the service at this Hyatt Place, thank goodness we didn't try to save ten bucks by going with another chain. We liked this place so much, upon checkout, we booked it again for our return trip home. We asked for a crib ... it arrived immediately at the door. The room was modern and clean, along with a giant flat-screen TV. We ordered pizza and pasta from the kitchen and it was not expensive and came to the door with a smile, and free cans of soda to boot. The free breakfast spread is nice and clean ... and they use real plates and silver wear (I can't stand stereo-foam). You can even pay for a Starbucks coffee latte or espresso, which my wife and I enjoyed. As I write this, we're staying a second night on our return trip and the service remains solid. And the kids are about to swim while I enjoy fresh fruit and coffee. Way to go Hyatt ... you're two for two in a world of shrinking customer service. További részletek

This is my first stay at a Hyatt Place hotel, and it was a special prepaid low price! The hotel was neat and overall clean, with a nice lobby area. We had a room with a king bed. It had a wet bar, fridge, 46" HD tv, and a sofa bed, which was seperated slightly from the bedroom area. Coffee in the room was provided, as well as bath amenities, even a […] new tube of toothpaste. The room overall looked nice. However, there were some shortcomings. The actual bathroom, which was the tub and toilet, was the size of a closet, with a very low ceiling (the rest of the hotel room was fine, not sure why this was so low). The bathtub was not installed correctly, and when you stepped on the tub (which was fiberglass) it was like stepping on a trampoline. Heaven help anyone older or someone with a balance issue (My wife actually has the latter). The bed was very uncomfortable, extremely hard, almost like sleeping on a board. The HVAC was a unit that was not only very loud, did not cycle on or off like many units do. With it right next to the bed, it was difficult to get to sleep with the noise it made. The fridge in the room also made noise, but that was covered up by the HVAC unit noise. The pillows were feather, and were not very comfortable either. We found some left behind coins on the floor and some paper near the bed that left us with the impression the room was not cleaned very well. There was a decent continental breakfast in the morning, with the option of paying for hot entrees. The area around the hotel is corporate, with other hotels nearby. You have to drive to get to any food establishments, other than the very small bar and cafe in the hotel. We were staying here due to the cost, and visiting the Cleveland Clinic, which was about a 15 minute drive from here. We were very tired after not sleeping well in the uncomfortable room. The price was right, compared to other hotels when we booked, and since I stayed at Hyatts before, my thought was we would be able to have a nic További részletek

It was a nice hotel, mostly clean. My only real issue would be no real bar type atmosphere and that the bathroom/tub showed some rust or mold in some areas.

It was our first mother-daughter travel and hotel stay. We were greeted by a friendly staff and tastefully decorated lobby. Our stay was comfortable and the hotel was conveniently located off the freeway yet away from main traffic areas. I would recommend this hotel to my friends, family, and business associates any day!

The staff was nice & friendly when we got there. The lobby area was immaculate. The indoor pool was FREEZING! One reason we chose The Hyatt was the indoor pool (if you're gonna have an indoor pool, HEAT the D@#n thing! When we got to the room, there was a half empty soda bottle in fridge AND a condom wrapper under the sectional footstool found by me […] 5-yr old!
