The Centennial - Concord

The hotel was gorgeous! The hotel was very classy and upscale. The rooms were clean and very nice. The hotel was also a short distance to the main area of Concord, which is important to us, as we did not want to find parking downtown.

classic exterior, modern interior with fine restaurant and excellent staff . have been there before, will be back again. truly charming.

Very kind staff made us feel welcome. Spacious room, comfy beds. Renovated upscale bathroom. Bathrobes. Lots of TV station, inroom WiFi. Nice and cosy restaurant/bar in the house. Will definitely book same hotel when we return to Concord in the future. PS: don't miss Tanger Outlet nearby.

We stayed at this hotel in March 2012. Rooms are very spacious, and very clean. Beautifully furninshed and very nice shower and bathroom.

Very old outside, Very modern inside. A very nice hotel. Opened door to our room to find huge king sized bed with two terry robes laid out on it and slippers on the floor to step into, cookies on the nightstand, lights on and TV on, as it happened on a subject of great interest too us currently. My only complaint was that there was no shower cap, and […] could have used a second box of tissues in the bedroom, not just in bathroom. i stayed at the centennial inn for 4 nights when i was in concord for work. it is very close to the federal courthouse and also to town. the rooms were very big and modern and clean. bed was super comfy. and the small workout room was great for getting in some exercise in the cold weather. the front desk and housekeeping staff was always super friendly […] and helpful. the Granite restaurant is the best in town - as a new yorker, I am generally very tough on non-new york food, but these guys know what they are doing. bruce, the talented sous chef was accessible and offered great recommendations. the bar is also one of the more happening bars in concord - with a truly excellent wine list and good selection of beers and a super bartender named crawford who takes great care of his patrons, who were a mix of out of towners and locals, i was very happy and comfortable during my stay. Used this as our first night for a last minute weekend getaway and needed a stop a few hours from home. Perfect after a long workday and a few hours on the road. Bar staff are very sociable and make the night fun.

Very pleasant hotel, a nice addition to Concord, which needed just such a place. Very minor complaints about service, more in the nature of refinements needed (Why for example are butter knives not provided in the restaurant?) Restaurant very good, with creative cuisine and interesting wine list. Nice ambience, very conducive to conversation. Art […] could be improved (this true in general in the hotel, where individual images are even repeated in various locations--boring!) Bar extremely pleasant, but why does the establishment persist in the obnoxious modern fashion of calling virtually every cocktail a "martini"? Young bar staff eager and willing to learn and experiment--some notably good new cocktails, including seasonal specials like barman Crocker's "Maple Manhattan" which, though it sounds odd, ended up being quite wonderful and truly evocative of the locale. The hotel was comfortable but the price was expensive for room only. Even if breakfast was included it would not have been great value.

Great change of pace from the chain hotels. Room service was quick the resturant was very tasty. Overall had a good stay. Free WiFi too.

Our room was amazing, including high end linens, sparkling shower, and aromatherapy soaps/lotions! This hotel/restaurant (much like a B&B) is highly rated by Wine Spectator, and the rating is well deserved. The wine by the glass menu rivals any I have seen in NYC or LA. That coupled by the delicious cheese/fruit tray and followed by perfectly prepared […] scallops and steaks really scored highly with us. Centennial did a very good job at making the stay welcoming. Many special touches that set them apart from other hotels. Nice job! Would recommend hotel to others. Great martini bar and dinner at hotel.

Really friendly staff, good food at the restaurant, I was there really late upon arrival and the staff stayed late and chatted with me, didn't feel rushed at all. The room was really comfortable, the air conditioner was a little bit loud.

This hotel was superlative in every way The only thing needed was a little more counter space in the bathroom. Breakfast available at the restaurant , The Granite, was wonderful every morning. Great central location for New Hampshire.

This hotel was centrally located to everything in Concord (which isn't much to be fair). It was a charming old building that had been beautifully renovated and upgraded. However for some reason they decided to put queen beds in a majority of the rooms instead of King beds despite having the room for kings. When you book through this site the fine print […] reads King OR Queen bed and you will be book in whichever they have available. We specifically requested a king since we were on our honeymoon (and my husband is a 6'5" ex-football player) but got a queen. We suffered through the queen, but overall enjoyed our stay. Only stayed one night, but the accommodations in this renovated older building were unique and pleasant. The room size was very generous and the bar and restaurant were very nice.

Had a great stay at the Centennial for a family reunion in Pittsfield. Comfy room in a historic restored hotel in downtown Concord. Fridge, robe and slippers in the room not to mention homemade cookies by the bed at night. Be sure to have breakfast. Excellent coffee in the lobby which is rare in a hotel

You wont be dissapointed. The room was excellent. The bed was very comfortable and the staff helpful and friendly. We had dinner and it was top notch. If I have any negative comment it is on the music system in the room, and to be honest it is an oversight that almost all top star hotels still seem to make. The room had a beautiful flat screen tv , […] but yet the radio beside the bed was almost identical to what you would find at a Motel 6. This old mansion has been converted to a wonderful hotel with outstanding furnishings. It's clean, bright and very contemporary inside. On the day we checked in, it was very hot in New Hampshire, so our room registered 79 degrees. There wasn't much to be done about it. Other than that, all was great. I recommend it.

Needing a nights stay en route to Northern NH, I picked this hotel because it was not a chain hotel and I like being adventurous. The place was charming, beautiful, and everything was top shelf.

I have stayed at this hotel before and it is always consistant in providing courteous service, a great dining room (probably the best in the city of Concord) and attractive decor with good quality sheets and towels in the rooms. I will always return to this hotel when in the concord area.

Great staff and very clean. Had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay there again.

Once a home for widows a hundred years ago, the building has been refurbished and remodeled on the inside and is very comfortable. Enjoyable stay. Would go there again.

The stay was absolutely wonderful. We stayed two nights while traveling on vacation the New England states. Our room was spectacular and the breakfast in the dining room was a delight.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The front staff were efficent and very friendly. Beautiful restaurant and bar. Service at the bar was very slow but the dining room was quite busy for mid week. Breakfast was outstanding so I imagine the dinner menu would be just as good. Bathroom clean and bed very comfortable. Complimentary wireless. Would stay again.

We spent a night at the Centennial on the way to Mt. Sunapee (40 minutes away) and had a good restful night's sleep. The receptionists were nice and the rooms are big and clean. We had a good, romantic time and would do it again in a heartbeat. The service in the restaurant was a little slow, though. I stayed at the Centennial for one night for business; I had to work in Concord the following day and decided to stay in a hotel the night before due to the blizzard. When I checked in the woman at the front desk was not welcoming at all. I've had friendlier service getting my oil changed. The room was nice, spacious and clean. I did not particularly […] care for the pillow-top bed. It was not as comfortable as my firm mattress at home, but that is a personal preference. When I checked out, I believe it was the same employee. It wold have been nice if I had been asked, how was your stay. But I was not and it was all business. I will not return. További részletek

The building is historical in appearance and close to the capital. We were not given a room we were happy with the first night - it was small and right over the kitche. We were very tired from travel and the kitchen staff had a loud radio on until quite late and started up again early in the morning. I spoke with a more mature desk clerk in the morning […] and she very graciously moved us to a different, larger room with two beds. Staff moved our luggage for us while we were out the next day.
