We were passing through Eureka and had chosen this motel. I was somewhat concerned, considering the relative low price compared to others in the area. This turned out to be a great spot. The owner is the person who greets you. He was very helpful in suggesting places to eat. We needed a laundromat and he was very helpful in telling us how to get to […] one easily. When we got to the room, we were pleasantly surprised. While being rather old school, the room was pretty large and very clean. As always the room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is very nice. The personnel are wonderful. Looking forward to next trip. It is located just as you come into town so super easy to find.

The toilet would start running noisily every 15 minutes or so. The manager came by to replace a part, but the problem persisted. In the morning, the tank overflowed because the internal parts were not adjusted correctly. In addition, it was a somewhat chilly evening and the heat never worked properly.

This was probably our 5th stay and it was very nice as always. The owner is friendly and helpful and we enjoy his company. Room is clean and comfortable with everything we need.

I was not there most of the time but it was a good place to stay after a long day. Adequate breakfast. Front desk was helpful and gave us a discount coupon for a local, famous restaurant. Clean comfortable room.

Stay was okay, the carpets were damp when we arrived, so not sure if it was due to a recent carpet cleaning or if it was because the heat was turned off when no one was in the room. In addition we ended up being kept up for quite a while as we had to endure listening to the next door neighbours enjoying their night in an intimate manner- paper thin […] doors if by chance you end up in a room with connecting doors like we did. The staff were courteous and helpful. I left some clothes in the room and they were honest to contact me about my personal items. I thought that was kind and sweet. The area and location was safe. Easy to find, but right on the highway going through Eureka. However, the noise wasn't bothersome at all at night. Liked the fact that there were 2 chairs to sit in so one of us didn't have to sit on the bed. Towels need to be upgraded--very thin.

The hotel itself was very good. Room was clean and comfortable. Nice to have a couch, rather than just a chair. Price was reasonable. The one downside was the amount of noise. The hotel is on a major thoroughfare, and the traffic noise was really bad. If you are a light sleeper, the traffic will keep you up all night.

The Inn had no vacancy when we arrived (a good sign), and the manager was straightforward and no-nonsense. He told us where to grab a drink, and made the check in and check out process quick and easy.

Too much highway traffic. Noise from large truck passing by all night. The manager was kind of rude. Ask a question about what to see for local sights. Say's there all the books to look at . Not really talkative. Would stay someplace else next time. Hard beds.

Stayed the night. All was GOOD except that the Motel is tricky to get to if you're headed north; otherwise it's highway friendly. The neighborhood seems a bit edgy, but not inducing fear. Dave at the desk was friendly and informative - he recommended the Somoan Cookhouse, a local mainstay for dinner. Clean & comfy.
