We were impressed by the little attention to details. For example, the continental breakfast served with REAL coffee mugs, and small sandwiches, the availability of coffee and tea 24 hours, and the coziness of the rooms and the lobby. Internet was free. Beds comfortable with european linens (duvet, cotton). Great location

We were in chicago to visit our kids. the hotel management was helpful and we got a quiet room. We could walk to the brown line if we needed the train. We could walk to the Lake and we did for a Saturday stroll at Lincoln Park. Trader Joe's is nearby and some shopping too. For the price it was worth it.

Our stay was great. All the staff members were so friendly and helpful. Our only concern was that we were not aware of the parking cost when booking the room. I forgot to ask and it was not mentioned in details about the Willows. It worked out for us and was not an issue, but I will check parking arrangements when booking from now on.

I had a wonderful week long stay at the Willows. The room was spacious, as was the bathroom. The front desk personnel (Adrian) was very friendly. The lobby was warm and welcoming. I was actually surprised at how impressed I was with this hotel. I had a wonderful week there, and will definitely be returning.

Historical and unique. European in feel. Not wheelchair accessible so we will not be able to stay with my Mom visiting.

You can't beat the location of this hotel. It is just a few blocks from the shore of Lake Michigan, close to Wrigley Field, and has plenty of restaurants and other shopping in walking distance. I enjoyed my stay at the Willows. It's a fine hotel. The Continental breakfast could be improved if they offered healthier food.

We stayed in a wonderful room in the Willows Hotel in Chicago. The beds were very comfortable.

A very lovely boutique hotel. The desk staff was outstanding. So friendly, helpful and professional. We stayed with our two small children and found the room quite comfortable. This is a nice hotel, with good sized rooms, and comfy beds. The staff were very friendly and helpful when needed. We had access to a local gym too, which was great. Buffet breakfast options were limited but more than adequate to start the day (bagels would be nice). Coffee available 24/7, in reception which was great. wonderful experience! the hotel is from a different era, very clean and comfortable. the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful! would definitely stay there again! ALSO, great neighborhood to walk in, window shop and great restaurants!

A little pricey, but worth it. Safe and secure, friendly and helpful. Historical and modern. The parking is a little difficult. We parked in a garage behind and it wasn't too bad, but we found out that there was another one that allowed free in and out. We had the double bed room with a desk. Near a crossroads with shopping and restaurants and near the Kingson Mines Blues Club and Ba Ba Reeba restaurant. Willows was also a short distance from the Lakeshore. Surf Street is very scenic.

We stayed here because it was in close walking distance to several places we wanted to visit along with a few blocks to the El. It was very clean, the rooms are small but adequate. During my stay I spoke with 3 employees and they were all very friendly and helpful.

Clean, convenient, and comfortable.

Everything was really nice. The only issues I have was that they were not very specific about the parking arrangements and there was noise coming from the roof that kept us up on our first night. We enjoyed a very pleasant 2-night stay at the Willows Hotel, a quaint and charming hotel located in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago. The Willow reminds me of an English hotel. It was very inexpensive, friendly, clean and convenient. We will be staying here every time we go to the city.

Beautiful, romantic European hotel filled with incredible ambiance. I found the hotel on line and read the great reviews, however, was pleasantly surprised that this 3 star rated hotel turned out to be a 5 star. This was my first visit to Chicago and I was very pleased with my stay at The Willows. Upon arriving we were greeted by incredibly friendly staffers who went above and beyond the call of duty when explaining how to get around in the area and their suggestions for places to eat. The location was very convenient to public transportation and was an inexpensive cab ride away from the downtown area. They also provided a continental breakfast that was delicious. The Willows is one of my favorite hotels in Chicago. The location is perfect for us and the hotel has personality.

I work in Chicago frequently and i love staying here.

If you want to get a feel for the life of the city rather than be in the commercial core of downtown, this nicely-renovated hotel on the North Side is a fine option. It's near the lake and in a real neighborhood with shops, restaurants and a movie theater close by. We just returned from a 6 night stay at the Willows. Our room was very nice & clean. The hospitality of the staff was exceptional. We will stay again when we visit Chicago.

This is a very comfortable hotel located about 4 miles north of the Loop. I was impressed with the friendliness of the front desk staff. They were very courteous and helpful. It is easy to take the CTA bus from near the hotel to all of the attractions on Michigan Avenue. I like staying here because the neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. This is a nice little hotel in the heart of Chicago. Parking is as expected.... difficult. But it is in any metro city. At any rate, i will be staying at this hotel again, as soon as I make plans to visit Chicago again. And I hope it is soon.

i work in Chicago once a month..The Willows functions like a little apartment for me..convenient parking and just close enough to downtown.

We were thrilled to find a European-style hotel near Lincoln Park in Chicago. The hotel is charming. The staff is even more delightful. We came for the neighborhood. We will return for the ambience and excellent staff.

The man at the front desk was kind of rude, didn't say hello, just asked for my ID and credit card right away. Nice neighborhood, close to a lot of things! Parking was kind of inconvient and it is not in/out parking like they said, you have to pay everytime you leave. The room was very clean and very comfortable!
