Accomodations were good, and the room was very comfortable. Staff was very nice. The only downside was the mediocre and overpriced bar and restaurant.

We were over in Minnetonka for a wedding. I had booked two nights, a Friday and Saturday, under separate reservations because we were unsure if both nights would be needed until the week before. Apparently, this confused the hotel staff which I'll get to later. After I checked in on Friday (and was not offered a bellhop) I passed one on my way to the […] elevator. She politely asked the man infront of me if he needed a cart. He was carrying 2 hangers. Thats it. I had to wait for her stop talking to the man with the "heavy load" and move off the ramp before I could continue with my suitcase, bag, drycleaning and case of water. She deliberately looked down, avoiding eye contact, and didn't say a word to me. Thanks. We brought our dog with us and I knew we were going to have issues when we got to our room which was directly out from the pool on the backside of the hotel and the only entrance was the front of the hotel. Screaming kids, paper-thin walls and a dog in an unfamiliar atmosphere - really? Who's bright idea was that? I'm sure our new neighbors were thrilled with this idea too. Friday night I received 2 phone calls around 9pm. It was a hotel agency calling to let me know they would be unable to accomodate us... at 9pm? After we checked in at 4? What?? I left our party to head to the front desk to see what was going on. I was told there was a mistake and they would be able to accomodate us - at that point it would be more like us accomodating them if we did infact have to leave. On Saturday morning my boyfriend went down to the front desk to "check out and check in" again because of the two reservations. At 12:02 our room phone rang telling us checkout was at noon and we needed to get going, arguing with me when I said we did in fact have reservations for Saturday also. Guess it was a waste of our time following directions with the front desk an hour earlier. Then I needed to take the shuttle reserved by the wedding party for their wedding to the ceremony venue. Very nice clean and the location was perfect for our needs.

Nice, quiet hotel with friendly staff. Just what I needed at the end of the day after sightseeing and lots of walking. I was a little disappointed that there was no wireless internet in my hotel room and that I had to pay a per night rate to have a fridge for drinks and such. We spent 5 nights at this hotel and overall, our stay was very nice.

It was close (with a car) to a grocery store, target and places to eat. Not hard to park and it was on a little lake- that was nice. The hotel was quiet when I stayed there- I shot in and out for the weekend for business. Everyone was nice.

My biggest complaint is that there isn't free Wifi in the rooms. Also the t.v. stations were hard to find and I couldn't get some channels. Also it would be nice to have free continental breakfast.

Brandon, the hotel clerk, provided service par excellence as we had to change room twice due to various circumstances.

Overall a nice hotel and I would probably stay here again if I got a good rate. I stayed here for a weekend while visiting family in the area (would have stayed with them but house was full). Our room looked out to the pool. You could smell chlorine in the main atrium but not in the room. You could hear some noise in the room from kids in the pool but it wasn't too bad and didn't go past 10 when the pool closed. My biggest negative about the hotel was their parking lot. It had snowed 1-2 inches Friday and the parking lot wasn't plowed until around 9 that night. And by then so many people had driven on it that the snow was already packed down making it slick. I understand that this was a very minor snow for Minneapolis, but for out of town people not used to the weather, it can be quite a challenge. The worst part was the drive right in front of the door. Renee at front desk was very knowledgable and housekeeping staffer Rosa was extremely helpful and had a GREAT attitude for having to work NYE overnight. Those two employees alone made my stay one of the best ever.

Stayed here for New Years Eve. Great customer service. Close to downtown. Very happy with my stay.

My daughter and I stayed there this past weekend. We needed a dog-friendly hotel and were very pleased we found such a nice one. They had an area outside designated for your dogs to use and provided clean up bags and disposal.

The hotel is nice. The restaurant in the lobby needs work. Service was slow and the food was overdone.

Sheraton is known for soft beds . . .our bed was very uncomfortable for the amount I paid for this room. The fitness center is nice.

You may want to review your credit card statement after staying at this hotel. A few days after my stay I checked through my credit card statement and found an $8 charge from the hotel. When I called the hotel i discovered they had charged me for two bottles of water that were untouched. Still waiting for a resolution.

It's a very nice hotel. The staff is pleasant. The surrounding neighborhood seems safe (unlike MidTown).

So close to downtown Minneapolis and the surrounding cities. Very friendly and respectful staff and out room was comfortable and clean. We will definitely stay at this hotel next time we come into town!

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The room was lovely-quite spacious. The parking is easy and the overall hotel was more than we had expected for the price we paid. It is a short drive to downtown Mpls and Ridgedale Mall is right across the street. My only criticism is that we weren't treated with super-friendly service at the front desk. Very nice hotel, clean, comfortable and friendly staff. You will be hard pressed to find a nicer hotel for the price. I think it was the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in.

the hotel was lovely; modern, clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Rates were very reasonable. For our purposes, it was welll located, right off the highway and ten minutes from our relatives. We would recommend this hotel without reservation (pun intended!)

We had 3 adults traveling to Minneapolis, and reserved a room with 2 Double Beds. When we got to the hotel, they gave us a room with 1 King Bed...hmmm. We told them there had to be a mistake because we were confirmed in a room with 2 Doubles, and they said that the room size booked online through hotels.com or Expedia is NOT guaranteed. They had NO […] rooms with 2 Double Beds. The woman at the checkin desk was less than helpful and offered little resolution except a rollout bed that she would give us "free of charge." How nice. It was not until we asked to speak to the Manager on Duty that we actually got service. Have stayed in this hotel before with no issues, but this time the service at the reception desk was very poor. One problem we had with our room was that it looked like there might have been mold forming on the celiling. The room didn't smell so we also thought maybe whoever painted the black wall accidentally splattered paint on the ceiling. Another problem was with the sink faucet. Other than this, the room was fine for what we needed. Our room was on the 2nd floor just above the indoor swimming pool. We could hardly hear any pool noise and we were grateful for the hotel's swim hours ending at 10pm to ensure everyone would get a good night's sleep. It would've been nice to have complimentary breakfast included, but the neighborhood that the hotel was in had a variety of places you could go for a nice breakfast. The staff was helpful, but they got lost trying to figure out which room was ours when we called down for help because of a clogged (and overflowing) toilet. Aside from nicer pillows, a soft pillowish comforter, and the fact they had 24 hour service for forgotten toiletries on site, the Super 8 on West 10th in Sioux Falls was just as good. And the Super 8 had more chairs in its room. And the internet was free with the room. This place charged twice as much as the S8, and charged extra for wireless internet. […] That's inexcusable. The /only/ saving grace of this hotel was that it was close to the parking ramp with the express bus from the suburbs to Target Field. That was why it was picked. Loud bar and shrieking kids on pool make this atrium property less than a peaceful place to rest and relax. Is it really necessary to yell down from the third floor to your friends in the lobby? Lovely room, nice staff, wouldn't go back,

Don't think you can do much better than this clean, comfortable, and friendly operation. We stayed over a weekend and even with the wedding activities that were going on around us, it was quiet in our room.

We stayed in this hotel while we were in town for a wedding in Minnatonka. The location was perfect for us. It was near 394 and the mall. It was easy to get to Target field to catch a Twins game and also fast to get to Nicollet Mall. The hotel lobby is really nice. We spend some family time on Friday evening sitting in the lobby. We had two adjoining […] rooms on the second floor outside the pool. This we noisy when the pool was open (9 am - 10 pm). Why do little kids have to scream when they are in a pool anyway? I stayed at the Sheraton for one night as a waypoint between two locations on a business trip. The front desk staff was very courteous and helpful. The double queen room was nicely appointed and the wifi worked well. My only slightly negative experience was with food service. The restaurant/room service staff seemed overwhelmed. OTOH, the hotel is located just across a big parking lot from the Ridgedale mall which provides additional alternatives for having a meal, and there are other restaurants in easy driving distance (if one has a car, which I didn't).
