TRAVELODGE GRAND ISLAND - Grand Island

We liked that restaurants were in walking distance. Hotel was quiet. No issues at all. Very conveniently located by Fonner Ark.

Nice staff very comfortable room. Would definitely stay there again.

Very dated facility. Desk was pleasant, but the rest of the staff acted like they were doing you a favor to allow you to stay. Breakfast was good.

I was very impressed with the condition and maintenance of this motel. The interior of the hallways and my room were as good as any I have stayed in for some time. It even has an elevator for the second floor. Everything needed; coffee maker, fridge, micro, iron & wi-fi in the room to make my stay a pleasant one. When I checked in the woman at the front desk was not particularly helpful or friendly. I was on a cross country trip and staying in a multitude of motels/hotels I am very conscience of how welcoming the front desk people are. I don't think she was deliberatly being rude or unfriendly. She acted like she didn't care about her job or about the guests. […] I noticed the same attitude when I checked out. Next time in Grand Island, I will not stay at this motel. Also, I was given a handicapped accessible room for some rason and I am not disabled. További részletek

THE ONLY PROBLEM IS SLIPPING IN THE BATHTUB WHILE TAKING A SHOWER. THEY NEED TO ADDRESS THIS BEFORE SOMEONE SLIPS AND FALLS.

The room was clean and quiet; beds and pillows were comfortable. It had a microwave, refridgerator and coffee. We enjoyed the free morning breakfast and local newspaper. The blanket was quite thin, but that did not matter in the summer. I was very pleased with the quality and the low price.

We were very pleased with the stay and would recommend it to others. Very clean,polite and the bed was very comfortable.

The only thing I didn't like about the motel, was that they allowed animals in the rooms. We had a dog that yipped all night and half of the morning.

For the price, it was ok. The room was clean. the carpet was fairly new. However, the shower sprayed water all over the bathroom soaking the towels and my pajamas and the tub drained slowly making you think about all the hair that was clogging the pipe. When I spoke to the person at the desk about it the next morning she seemed to think it was only […] a minor matter and one that didn't deserve any special action but she promised to report it to the manager. The breakfast was inadequate--weak coffee, no donuts, no bread for toast, two kinds of cereal, fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs and juice. The same people operate the restaurant next door which might explain their lack of interest in providing a good "free" breakfast. További részletek

We were not told that the free breakfast would not be available. It was Christmas morning and very hard to find something to eat. They were doing some remodeling.

The staff there were not friendly at all. No "hello" or "goodbye" at check out or check in. No smiles. stared at all the guests. Not a very comfortable enviroment at Breakfast at all.

Travel Lodge was very nice. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. For example, we booked a smoking room, well this hotel has all non smoking rooms, so she moved out room to one that was a couple doors down from the exit so we could go out to smoke. The breakfast in the morning was great. No yucky waffles, they had yummy biscuits and sausage […] gravy. The pillows were super soft and very comfortable. The only issue we had, and it really was not that big of an issue to me, was the beds were a little on the hard side. I personally did not mind them, but my husband did not care for the bed so much. I will surly stay at this hotel my next trip to Grand Island. Especially if we are going to another event at Fonner Park. We didn't even drive to the concert, it's right off of the entrance to there, we just walked. It was perfect. További részletek
