The hotel had an old musty gross smell to it. The air conditioner/heating unit did not work correctly and was very loud. Was traveling with 2 children under the age of 2 and was afraid to let them crawl or lay on floor due to dirty dingey carpet and bed comforter was just as gross. There must have been a party at the hotel bc there was a loud bumping […] sound from the music until 5am. Contacted front desk and he seemed bothered by the call and did not address the issue. I'm fairly sensitive to cigarette smoke, to the degree of getting cold and flu-like symptoms after significant amounts of exposure. My son and I stayed in a smoke-free room for just two days (on the 2nd floor) and our clothes reak of cigaratte smoke and we are both still sick four days later. Made the mistake of having my wife book the hotel on line from home while we were driving into Lincoln. Ended up five miles off the freeway at this hotel, which was fine - in that we were there for about 7 hours and asleep the whole time, so in that regard, it was a hit. great place to stay many places to eat and have a drink close by most are within walking ditance, easy access to major hiways and ashort drive to the interstate.

Hotel outdated, but clean with friendly service. Good for a pit stop on a road trip. Exterior corridors provide easy access for bringing bicycle inside instead of leaving it on bike rack. Overall, would recommend this hotel for no-frills stay.

A football weekend made reservations non-refundable even if you had to cancel, something I have issues with, but lodging is extremely scarce on a football weekend in Lincoln. I smoke and had a smoking room, but it was pretty stinky and I ended up not smoking in the room and running the exhaust fan in the bathroom for the entire time I was in the room. […] The bed sheets were never changed even though I stayed three nights (Fri, Sat, Sun)-- the bed was not made on Saturday, although the bathroom was cleaned and fresh towels provided on all three days. The bed was very comfortable, with a choice of pillows ranging from soft to firm. There are railroad tracks nearby complete with honking trains, yet the room was (thankfully) very quiet. The continental breakfast won't be winning any awards, but there was the usual coffee, juice, cereal, donuts, and bagels with toppings available, or you could walk to a fast-food outlet next door if you wanted something else. The in-room brew-it-yourself coffee was awful. While in the lobby at breakfast, I overheard one checking-out guest telling the deskperson they were extremely satisfied with their stay, and another on another day saying how extremely dissatisfied they were -- I guess my experience was somewhere in the middle. This fits the bill for any traveler, not far from downtown, easy access, full amenities. Great value, this will become a regular location for me to stay as it's close to my children who live with their mother.

The hotel was in general outdated. It did seem clean however.

The room and service were adequate, but the best part of the stay was the advice from the manager about Shogun, across the highway. Best sushi is some time.

I've paid a lot more for a lot less. In the room that had 2 beds we had a fridge and microwave. It was very quiet with very few children.

Not much to say: Everything was clean and well kept, the price was eminently reasonable, and the folks at the front desk were friendly and polite. I'd be happy to give them my business again.

hard to get to w/ road construction. yet duable w/ signs. Smokers too comfy. Located near gas station and food restraunt. Able to get cot and xtra towels easily.

Wasn't the best hotel we've ever stayed in, but was cheap and clean. Pretty close to restaurants.

My expectations were high considering the other reviews I had read about this location. I was not disappointed in the least. The staff was friendly and the lobby area was well maintained. The room was very comfortable and kept up quite nicely. Good place to stay for the night. Highly recommended.
