Overall this hotel was a disappointment. I showed up to the hotel around 4 (check-in started at 3) and the room they wanted to give us wasn't ready yet, instead of putting us in another room. they told us to wait and they would tell us when it was ready. 10 minutes later, I went back up to the counter asking if my room was ready and the woman had forgetten […] about me, even though I was sitting right in front of her. When we get into the elevator we realize that our floor is below the main floor, it is in fact on the same level as the hotel laundry, the pool, the exercise room and the guest laundry. The room was worn and seem to have no updates to it. The only window was at ground level and was facing a walking path, so for a majority of the time I was unable to have it open. We went out for a nice night out and when we returned there were no parking spots in the small parking lot which they shared with a local bar/club. We stayed on a saturday night. Very clean and homely, comfortable room and good continental breakfast, staff very friendly and courteous.

I was there on business for 4 days and had to drive to Niagara ~40mins one day, then to Downtown Toronto the other day, and work in Burlington the other 2 days. It was a great work hotel (IMO). I don't know if I would go here on Vacation; however, I am sure it's lovely in Summer, as I was there in late November.

Staff was friendly. Hotel was clean and updated. Great location!

My wife and I had a wedding to attend and used this hotel for our stay. The front desk help was fantastic, the room was clean the breakfast was average but free. The restaurant was too expensive $15 for two beer was entirely too much!

but the hotel is dated in many ways. There is a lively bar attached to the hotel which was very noisy until the wee hours of the morning on Friday and Saturday night.

I stayed at this hotel after attending a wedding reception in Hamilton. Hotels.com showed the Waterfront Hotel as being the nicest looking (in my opinion) that was closest to the reception location. We were told check in was anytime after 3pm however we got to the hotel at 2:40pm and were able to check in right away. The check-in process was quick. Though […] the room was clean, it looked like it could use a touch up paint job. There was no mini-fridge in our room, though for an extra $10 the hotel could have put one in there for the night we stayed. Our view was of the roof from the pub (Beaver and Bulldog) that is connected to the hotel. Continental breakfast was served in the restaurant (Beaver and Bulldog). It was a great breakfast and available until 10am. Issues we had in the room were that the tv remote control didn't work, the bathroom faucet sprayed everywhere, and the hair dryer in the room didn't work. We used a cab to take us from the hotel to the reception. The lady at the front desk informed us we would have to take the Burlington cab into Hamilton then get a Hamilton cab to take us the rest of the way. When the Burlington Cab company driver arrived at the hotel, we confirmed with him and he said he was more than able to take us directly to our destination. További részletek

Fabulous Location right on the Waterfront and close to everything. Rooms need some updating but still quite satisfactory. Was there on the weekend, and the downside is you couldn't go and sit out on the Patio at night in front of the Lakeshore as the restaurant becomes a Disco Bar and you have to pay a coverage charge if you want to sit outside and […] have a drink-- what a shame for good paying customers. What an incredible place! Right on the water... so scenic! Couldn't have been in a better place for night life either! My girlfriend and I went on a pub tour, and met all kinds of friendly people! I had business the following day in Burlington, and the staff at the hotel were very helpful helping me prepare booklets. Overall will stay here anytime and […] every time I stay in Burlington! beautiful hotel, beautiful area and surroundings. Not too expansive. Goos service, except, that 4 people in the rooms for 3 days, we had to run after the cleaning lady for towels, coffee, etc. They didn't clean the room once or provide clean towels. That's the only thing

This is a truly a polished hotel. Totally enjoyed our stay. The Waterfront is in a great location. We could walk to everything that we wanted to see and do and if we needed to drive it wasn't far. The staff were very knowledgeable of the surrounding area and amenities thank you to all for fantastic stay, we'll be back.

Breakfast was included but the quality was very poor. Breads and bagels were very mediocre. muffins were gluey tasting. Coffee weak and tasteless. ''....

Read a few reviews, most of them were accurate. The comment I disagree with the most was about the staff. There were friendly and courteous. They were also extremely helpful, so either the staff has changed or they were having a bad night when the negative things were written. I understand the hotel is being renovated, so I can deal with the dated decor […] (1st floor where we stayed). The thing I don't understand is why things like towels (mentioned in many reviews) can't be changed hotel wide immediately. This hotel has the worst towels on the planet that I have experienced to date. One of them was even tattered with long pieces of material hanging down. Not the end of the world, and maybe I sound like a giant wimp even mentioning it, but this is just not a good reflection on the hotel. I also took the advice of a previous traveler and brought my own pillow (first time for me, I think that makes me officially middle aged). This hotel had a great location to downtown area and with the beautiful walking parkway next to the lake, it was relaxing as well. Lots of restaurants etc within walking distance. Bed was very comfortable and really our only complaint was the free breakfast was of very low quality. Not a very good selection of fruit and the "meat" that was provided […] was tasteless, not sure what it was. But it did have coffee, juice and bagel. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would stay there again. További részletek

The carpet in hallways full of stains. The TV's are old outdated. Air condtioner made loud noises. I had changed rooms due to the t.v. converter not working but in my first room the tub had black mildew between some tiles.
