La Quinta Inn & Suites Clearwater South - Clearwater

The AGM was very personable and friendly. My fiance and I were extremely satisfied with everything about the hotel. The location was a little far from things but we made the best of it and the restaraunt right outside Quaker Steak and Lube was phenominal. I would definately book this hotel again in a heartbeat!

all ok at hotel. friendly front desk staff. no Issues. very clean rooms, bed, shower. I would stay again. Great price.

We arrived at 2PM & wanted to check our reservation since it was race & spring break weekend in St. Pete. There were 5 cars in the lot. We asked the girl at the desk for early check-in so we could head out to the beach. We were told no & to return at 3. We went to the nearby Steak & Lube & returned at 3:10. She asked us to wait another 10 minutes since […] rooms weren't ready.She said she didn't yet have "the list". We sat in the lobby & watched her WALK OUT THE DOOR. The gentleman who relieved her asked why we were waiting. He then checked us in within a few minutes. By then there were many others waiting behind us. However, by 4pm we missed our beach day. When she returned Sunday morning I asked her why she left us sitting. She got very defensive about "the list" with no apology. If you have a job, DO IT. Checking in guests is your job. So sorry we bothered you. If you miss the breakfast, there is nothing, including coffee, available after 9AM. They were already cleaning by 11AM. We have never been treated so poorly with a paid reservation. We will not return to this LA Quinta & their magic "list." További részletek

On Wednesday's, there is a band playing until 10 pm. Other nights there is a great classic car show. The music was good, glad it only lasted til 10. Check out the activities at Quaker State behind the hotel. BEWARE !! Don't expect to use the pool or sun bathe. The pool is behind the hotel and does not get ANY sun and the water stays COLD. My goal was to have a one night local get-away for some peace of mind, comfort and relaxation. The room, service and location met my needs and budget. This location was selected specifically because of the spa. Two improvements worth noting: the ice machine on Floors 2 and 3 need repair; the outside pool is not heated. I will return.

We could not check in at midnight becuase the front desk guy was sleeping in the back. We called the front desk number 6-7 times and he still did not wake up. We finally heard snoring and I went back there and had to shake him awake. It took us until 1 am to check in. went to hotel and they gave my resevation to someone who's name was close to mine so they had to redo my resevation. Also this hotel did not have a airport shuttle which would have come in handy. The room was the nicest we stayed in while in florida.

We stayed at this hotel in August which is the hottest month of the year. We walked into our room to find the air off. It was 8:30 at night & it seemed as we were in the middle of nowhere with nothing to do so we had to sit in our room & sweat. We fell asleep by 11:30 (still sweating) but finally by 3:00 in the morning the room had cooled down. When […] I told the front desk about this they said they keep the air off to save money. I understand saving money when no one is staying there but in the hottest month of the year you should at least turn the air on for guest that are expected to arrive so it's not so miserable. Other problems were: air not working in hallway, poor excuse for something called a breakfast buffet & old tube tv that didn't work properly. Make sure to read all the bad reviews as a lot of the good ones were either written by the hotel or by people that just got lucky with their stay. Location is a little hard to find (behind the green lit Quaker Steak Restaurant) but a good value. My children love waffles so the free breakfast was a hit.

One elevator was down for repairs and the other only worked half the time. Breakfast was frozen bagels and only one waffle maker that kept people in line for 30 minutes of more to use it. The room had huge cracks down the wall and they tried to put my parents in a room that apparently had been broken into before as the door was askew and wouldn`t lock. […] and the guy at the front desk was the only staff member we saw during our three day visit. literally. It was interesting to say the least... Construction made my stay a little icky and there were cracks in my hotel room walls.. I think that's just discusting. Overall it was only an okay hotel.

I was very pleased with the service and would definitely recommend to others.

This is my first overall good experience booking through Hotels.com Th guy at the front desk was very pleasant and well-spoken. I checked in within 4 minutes (the fastest time ever for me). The room was very clean. There were no bugs or dirty carpet. The a/c was already on (great!) so was the fridge. Name brand soap and shampoo (Neutragena) and name […] brand coffee in the room. Cons: No big deal, but here are some: "fitness center" was a joke. It is 1 big all-in-one machine, that was not oiled so it was very difficult to even lift anything, also there were some broken weight plates on the machine. The pool and jacuzzi closed around 10pm. The room was nice and fairly clean, though we did pick up an article of clothing left in the floor by the previous guest (missed by the maid service). VERY limited choices for TV viewing - Basic Cable ONLY. The staff was very helpful giving us directions to get around and meeting every need we had during our stay.

I would definitly stay here again. Hotel room was clean, even had a heated pool. The breakfast was great, includes waffles, eggs, sausauge, english muffins, coffee & juices, etc. Had a fridge & microwave in the room. We had previously stayed at a Doubletree and this was Half the Price for the same type of service and room (kingsize). This hotel is located near St. Petersburg, Tampa , Clearwater & beachs. There are numerous restaurants to choose from. The hotel is well maintained and well staffed. It is really located in Pinellas Park.

My mother became ill during her overnight stay and was not able to check out or leave the room on time, all the staff was extremely supportive and helpful. We were not rushed in any way and was not charged for the extra time. Absolutely hassle free. Thank you!! We enjoyed our stay there. It was centerally located to all the places we needed to be. The staff was very friendly and they let us check in early as we had driven all night and arrived at 7 am. I would recommend this place.

best night's sleep ever! Big comfy rooms, caters to biz class, next to great bar/restaurants and very close to airport. Quiet, clean, pool & spa. Poolside view awesome.

A very modern, comfortable hotel. Staff were excellent and efficient. The included breakfast was basic but acceptable. We wanted an evening meal and staff recommended the Quaker behind the hotel. i would stay again

Our first night there was horrible. I called the weekend before to confirm our reservations and also to see if we arrive before check in but on the date as our reservation, if we will have any problems getting our room, I was told no. My husband and I drove from Texas and arrived at the hotel at 3 AM. I went to check in and she told me that there was […] no note of us arriving early and that she was going to charge us for another night because we came before 3 PM. My husband tried to explain what was going on and she then told him "its not my problem" that was what sent us over the edge. We understand that a checkin time is there for a reason but dont tell guest one thing and do something completely different. We had to stay at my cousins apartment which she had no room for us because her wedding was that weekend. Our room was huge for the price but house-keeping kept bugging us even though we had a "do not disturb sign" outside, we didnt have a shower curtain, the bedsheets didnt fit the bed, and the remote for the tv didnt turn on the tv. It barely worked. The breakfast wasnt any where near what I expected. Cereal, waffles *that you made yourself*, poppy seed muffins and bagles. We were told otherwise at check in. We will never stay at this hotel again and we will never refer this location to any of our friends. It takes alot to disappoint us and this was a downer for our vacation. További részletek

We stayed at this hotel about 5 years ago and it was fine. It doesn't appear to have been updated since, including linens. The place is quite shabby now - not too clean, towels reminiscent of middle school gym class, no fitted sheets, top sheets too small to cover mattress, miserable pillows, poor room cleaning service, mediocre continental breakfast, […] all cardio equip in gym is broken, exterior rear secure access door doesn't lock . . . need I go on? the hotel sits off of the highway and do to current construction its not easy to get in & out. the "so called" breakfast was a collection of old fruit and microwaved seasuage and egg squares. the rooms are dated with poor quality sheets & towels.

Das erste Zimmer das wir bekommen haben, lag im EG und hatte eine Ameisenstrasse unter dem Fenster. Als wir uns beschwert haben, dauerte es ganze 6 std. bis jemand vorbei gekommen ist, um es sich anzuschauen.
