Travelodge Burnsville - Burnsville

Got in the room and the tv did not work and no Internet or microwave. After I complained I was put into a decent room with a working tv and spotty Internet. Pretty much decent value.

We checked in and the toilet was completely disassembled with mold all over it, so we switched rooms, The next room the faucet in the tub was broke so we had no hot water, we switched rooms again, the third room I pull back the sheets and there was a old dirty sock in the bed and there was something sticky all ove the carpet. I stayed for 2 night here at the traveloge. The room was quite small and needed quite a bit of maintenance the TV remote would not operate the TV. Burnsville, MN. The front desk help were very nice but the hotel does not measure up. I requested a smoking room the one I was placed in did not have an operating remote for the tv the phone did not work and the wifi signal was none existent the next room I was placed in was a non smoking room had to stand outside to smoke young kids running in and […] out the rooms and parking all night will not return. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My hubby left his phone and called the hotel. When we got back to get it they had the phone along with a shirt of my daughters in a bag at the front desk waiting for us to pick up.

Good Rate for a quick stopover. Just needed a place to sleep and back on the road in the morning. A no Frills motel but that is all we needed for the night.

We stayed here for fun, and as soon as we got there we realized that we had gotten what we payed for... for a cheap motel you can't expect much... and we didn't get much. The service was very good, and the breakfast was great but the building and the room itself were not great.

we stayed in smoking room other rooms were probably cleaner and not smoke stained. Next time we will request non-smoking room. otherwise room was fine, bed and bath were clean,very quiet room.

very good night's rest!! quiet area, very friendly hosts. i will return again. this will be the place where i will lay my head when in minneapolis or burnsville. thank you very much!!!

Staff were friendly, and room was decent, but the hotel is almost 30 min from the airport, so if you're looking for somewhere closer, look elsewhere.

this was the cheapest hotel I could find in the Minneapolis area, and it is an fine example of getting what you pay for. It is in need of a lot of improvement. they said it had recently changed owners and changed over from a red roof inn. the staff was friendly at check-in and checkout. the beds had these yellow pillowcases that looked dingy. they were […] actually clean but they sure picked a color that looks like sweat stain. the pillow inside the case was busted on the end with stuffing coming out. the chairs in the room had stains on the cushion. the bed sheets appeared to be clean and smelled ok but had specks of something in them like a leaf or something got in the washer or the wind had blown dirt all over the laundry cart. the bathroom was ok. the a/c worked great. the hotel was quiet. the breakfast consisted of a few powdered donuts, bagels, 2 choices of cereal, and a waffle maker. the neighborhood seemed safe. safe enough at leas for a cute young girl to be working at the gas station across the street at 10pm. choose this hotel if you are on a tight budget and aren't picky about your hotel room. THEY TOLD US THAT THEY WOULD BE SHUTING OFF THE WATER FOR REPAIRS ONLY TO LAST A SHORT TIME . WE WERE WITHOUT FOR ABOUT TWO AND A HALF HOURS GOT UP IN THE MORRNING TO SHOWER AND NO BATH TOWELS IN THE ROOM WATER WAS BROWN AND NASTY WHEN IT DID COME ON

It was super quiet and really relaxing. The only thing I didn't like was there were some stains on the sheets.

This poor review is based entirely on lack of advertised internet and poor service to resolve internet issues. (I was in town working, internet and email is crucial.) I booked the hotel knowing it's not fancy (if I want fancy, comfort and other ammenities, I know to pay more for a room at a nicer hotel). The hotel and room is exactly what I expected […] - functional. However, I needed internet and despite everything the hotel said, it would not work. Hotel had no tech support available during off hours (after 5pm). I had to sit in my car at the hotel next door and use thier wireless internet. The hotel moved me a new room and assured me the internet would work - it didn't. Back to sitting in my car using next door hotel's wireless service. A manager finally helped me with tech support who tried, but couldn;t help. The manager told tech support he had seen this issue before with other customers. Wow - they knew about it and didn't do anything! Bottom Line: if you're on a budget, it's an OK hotel for what you pay. If you need internet, don't consider this location. További részletek

The location is great and easy to get to AND the room was cheap... BUT... There were cigarette burns in the comforter, in a non-smoking room, there were makeup stains on the sheets, there were only two big towels, three hand towels and NO washcloths, only ONE bar of soap to share between shower and sink (in a separate room), a lamp had a burned out […] light. The woman at the desk was very pleasant & since I booked on-line check-in was quick. The room was a non-smoking & it smelled fine. We've sometimes booked a non-smoking in the past & it smelled of tobacco ( at other motels). The king bed was fine except for the pillows, they were flat & hard! The room was clean & so was the bathroom. The bathrm door […] tho, was peeling what must have been vinyl wall paper! The left, top corner & down about a foot & a half! Didn't notice anything else. We did appreciate being able to bring our small dog with us so that was a big plus. It was a quick trip to surprise our son on his birthday & the motel is only a few blocks away from his aprt. The area was quiet so other than the pillows we slept well. Will probably stay there again if the need arises. We may bring our own pillows tho. Perfect stay! Nice King size bed. Room was clean and I even had a refridgerater. Nice bathroom. Good heat and air conditioning! I have stayed in a lot of motels and this was a winner. Simple and basic but they are doing it right! Only drawback was that the sheets were yellow and could use more bleech. Otherwise - perfect!!!

there was toe clippings by the head of the bed beside the lamp on the floor.GROSS. i guess you get what you paid for ???? but never again for that hotel

the room was adequate. The bathroom was dirty and for 4 people we had towels for 2. The breakfast was ok.. They ran out of pancake bater, had one type of cereal, and ran out of milk.

If your looking for an inexpensive place to stay then this is it. It's not fancy but it does have free internet access as well as a modest free breakfast. The folks at the front desk were courteous and also provided great information on how to get places. For the price, you can't beat it.

There was mold in the bathtub. Wallpaper was torn off the wall in chuncks. The sheets were clean and the staff was considerate.

The rooms were not clean and smelled musty. The price I paid was way too much for the room I got. I will never stay here again.

The bathroom wasn't very clean and the towels needed to be bleached! They appeared to be very dirty. The bath tub was grundgy looking and the wall had a buldge in it . The water needed some sort of purifying also. The sheets weren't very clean either.

This hotel is getting old and is in need of a total upgrade. Rooms are dingy and smell musty. If we hadn't prepaid at Hotels.com we would not have stayed there. There are other hotels which are nicer in the area for a similar rate. The only plus to this hotel was the desk clerk who went out of his way to try to help us out.

even for the price this hotel was very run down. would not stay here again.

The hotel is what I expected and needed for a place to sleep. Would not recommend for long stay. Seems old a a little musty. Staff very friendly.

If you would like to save the time and money of visiting the nearby Minnesota ZOO, STAY HERE, you have ALL the smells and dirt, as if you actully LIVED in one of the animal enclosures....mmmmmmmmm, LOVE that nature smell, AND if you want your feet ,or kids to be REALLY dirty, just let them crawl arownd on the floor. Excellent value for the money. Clean, comfortable spacious rooms. Good lighting and work space for a working trip. Refrigerator and microwave. No pool or extra ammenities. Good, basic room for the price.

I have stayed in some bad hotels before, but nothing like this one. I still stayed because the price was right and the location was fairly close to my new job. You basically get what you pay for... Very small room with access from the outside. The sheets had hair in it and lots of holes from cigarette burns (non-smoking room). The pillows were yellow. […] The faucet shot out water at an angle and got the counter all wet every time I used it. The carpet floor was moist and the phone was old, dirty, and didn't work. On a good side, the breakfast was surprisingly good (waffles, cereal, milk, coffee, OJ and Apple juice and donuts) The rooms come with a fridge so it helped keep spending down.
