We went to LaGrange for a graduation party and had to stay two nights. At the recommendation of our relatives, we stayed at the Wingate-LaGrange our... first night. We paid over $130 for an "upgraded" room: one king-sized bed plus a fold-out sleeper cOUCH. That's no upgrade. The following night, we moved to the Quality Inn - LaGrange. Yes, it's outside doors. Yes, the room was smaller. But for under $60 after taxes, we had two very comfortable queen-sized beds, a clean room, a clean functional bathroom, and a breakfast buffet with biscuits & grave and home-made waffles. Hey, this is not a resort where you hang out, it's a place to sleep at the end of the day. We were in town to visit our relatives, not to hang out in a hotel.
