The front desk staff were very kind and helpful. Hotel has good security. The room was just OK. We weren't expecting 5 stars and didn't expect to be in... the room much except to shower and sleep, but it was VERY noisy. You could hear people in rooms above and next door, hall doors opening and closing and see light through the door. Windows allowed lots of noise from the street and we could hear trucks backing up in the wee hours of the morning in the alley. We didn't get much rest. Our bed wasn't very comfortable either, seemed old and had ruts where people lay. We opted for a non ocean view to save some $$$ and we looked out over a parking lot and right into the other rooms, since the walls on the back side face each other, but they had good drapes to keep the room private. Our room was clean and the location was great - right across the beach and a block from the shops. If you want fancy, this is not your place, but with ear plugs, it would be a good place to stay to be close to everything and not pay quite as much. I would opt for an ocean view and pay a little more if I went back as it might be quieter and you could have the drapes open without someone staring in at you. Írta: J (Colorado) ( 2013/05/02)
