you cant park anywhere else, within reason, so why charge extra for parking. Ok its only £3 but the cost to the hotel of of invoicing, card payment, staff time...why not put the £3 onto the cost of the room ? The room although small, was good quality. Road noise may be a problem if you are a light sleeper

Okay is the best way to describe this Value for Money hotel. Situated adjacent to busy A406 duel carriageway and in a location that you would not want to walk alone at night. Hotel staff were there and only the smile from a bar staff was an indication of service. You pay for WIFI, so not ideal for business uses (although at (£9.99 for 24 hours, it […] is hardly expensive). Rooms are clean and functional. Building smelt damp. There is a poster in the hotel that tells the customer about the service 'just ask'. Well I asked and the service was not provided. Saturday evening, the working Concierge thought it was a good idea to ignore me when I approached the desk. I had a request about the towels not being supplied the same as Fridays towels and if I could get more. I waited […] two minutes after asking for assistance and ended up coming back 20 minutes later to see if he was ready to help. The same concierge later was talking to a taxi driver who obviously was not a customer and just a person who spoke the same language having a laugh, was ignoring my custom when I was at the desk again inquiring about other issues. Staff were friendly and polite, hotel was having new carpet laid in reception area but the alterations did not affect the guests to any extent. Room was clean and tidy, ideal for our purposes.

Air Conditioning was shutoff both nights at 2100 so options were to leave the window open and listen to the expressway or sweat it out until morning. WiFi available but extremely weak signal=very slow response times, not worth 10 pounds, better to use the 1pound/20 minute setup in the lobby. Staff were very friendly and provided excellent customer service.The room was clean and acceptable.The main reason i stayed here was the price per night. I was visiting stratford and all the other hotels were much more expensive. If you are looking for an economy price hotel in London this is worth considering.

The hotel itself ticks all the boxes as far as a comfortable night away is concerned, its a typical Ibis. The main different between this Ibis and others around the country is the size of the room and the layout design, which is more compact (London I'm afraid). The room was clean and the bathroom was in an innovate pod design with a nice shower and facilities. The bed was very comfortable and the linen appeared to have been freshly washed. The only let down was the food served at the bar/restaurant, I had the beer battered cod and chips, which from what I know about hotel catering had either been frozen then fried or microwaved, as the batter on the fish was not fresh. It took a fair amount of time to come too which whilst wasn't disappointing was noticeable. As far as improvements go, metal spoons in the room instead of plastic would be nice and maybe a small pack of biscuits? Little touches like that go along way to making you feel at home in your room, at the end of the day there are hundreds of B&Bs out there that do that in their own home for less money per night. We experienced problems with keycards for our hotel room, the door to the room would not open on 4 sperate occasions, and the hotel staff were not very helpful, mainly because nobody could speak proper English! This meant we were late arriving at our event. I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights with my 10 yr old grandson. The room was small but adequate for our needs. The shower excelent. the beds clean and comfortable. My grandson loved the breakfasts... The only fault I could find was the long tube journey from the city.

If your on foot good luck getting in and out of this hotel I could not get the swipe card to open the barrier, and had to get someone out the 1st night back or press the buzzer loads of times to get some attention. Its a strange way to get into the place not very good. And beware you have to pay to park the car in their car park! £3 a day thats a ripoff […] I didnt see that coming dont park outside the place there was car glass all over the place so it doesnt look very safe to do that. A very friendly experience following the very poor previous night at a competitor's chain. The staff were courteous, helpful and professional. Whilst you know what you are going to get with a chain like Ibis, it was still refreshing that the staff cared enough about my stay to make it a goog one.

It's a very clean hotel. I loved staying there. You need sone time to the city i guess about an hour but for me it was okay. If you wanna go to excel you can go there by cab. It'll be about 12 minutes. I enjoied my stay a lot. Go there and see by yourself
