Holiday Inn Express Ft Bragg - Fort Bragg

Great place, good breakfast, but this time the hot tub was too hot and the pool could have been warmer.

Room was clean. Breakfast was nice! My kids loved the indoor pool. The hotel is in walking distance to a super market and restaurants. Nothing to complain!

We thought the room was very nice. the staff was very friendly and helpful. We would stay there again. The hot breakfast was good.

We felt it was the greatest hotel we have ever stayed in. Very clean, wonderful breakfast. Pool and spa were also wanderful. Very quiet and comfortable.

families. The indoor pool isn't huge but great for kids. The staff was helpful and accomodating and the location is perfect for exploring the north coast area. We'd definately go back.

Hotel advertises indoor pool and spa. Guess what? Indoor pool and spa were closed for renovation and they don't tell you until after you check in. But they are quick to maintain their high prices without delivering the services they offer! Joke.

I think it's crazy that you can't stay for 24 hours for the amt you pay for the room....check-in was 2PM and check out was 11AM!!!!!

Very comfortable, great breakfast and great staff. Would definetly recommended it.

The hotel was nice and comfortable, the most I liked about the hotel was the warm/covered swimming pool with jaccuzzi. The only drawback with the room was the bed, which probably was very old and not very comfortable to sleep on. Think its time for a change in the shower of the bathroom too...

They had one of the most comfortable beds I ever slept in in a mid priced hotel. They also had a full hot breakfast not just sweet rolls, cereal and juice. If all Holiday Inn Express are like this, they just found a loyal customer.

I was very disappointed that the spa was out of order. I thought about relaxing in the spa all the way along the 10 hr journey to get there and it was the main reason I selected that motel.

First time to stay at Holiday Express in Ft Bragg Both of us were very pleased w/accomodations and personnel at complex. Will look forward to staying again when in area.

The view from our room (3rd floor) was very nice but was hoping for a closer view of the ocean. The hotel is about a quarter of a mile away from the water so you couldn't hear the sounds of the water. The view of the actual ocean was quite small. However, the view of the ravine was very nice, and better than looking at a parking lot or something else […] similar. For the rather high price compared to surrounding hotels I didn't expect holes in the sheets and chairs with disturbing stains. On the positive side the room was very quiet and the bathroom was updated.

We arrived late in the evening and the desk clerk was right there greeting us with a nice welcoming smile. It took just 2 minutes to check in. The room was prepared professionally from top to bottom. We had a good night sleep in very comfortable beds. Breakfast the next morning also fulfilled our expectations. Great staff, great hotel..!

Everything top notch, beautiful hotel with great amenities and breakfast. however we did have 2 bad experiences- the hotel lost on of our reservations and didn't have any extra rooms. We had also booked "rooms with view." Don't fall for it, the ocean is to the west, all of the rooms face north.

If you value a quiet sleep, don't stay in rooms that face Highway 20. You'll spend the night listening to cars, trucks etc. until around 2am. It's quiet until around 5:00 am and then it starts all over again.

Overall the stay was great. Having a microwave in the room was a real blessing. The only hindrance was that the hotel did not have a fully functional kitchen and hence we had to call in or drive it to downtown for food. But since downtown was only 2 mins away (drive) it was not really a big deal.. I recommend this place.. Have fun!!

This was a great place to stay. Our room was wonderful. Very comfortable and clean. We had a room with a great balcony. The staff was extremely helpful. Very friendly place. Would highly recommend.

My daughter and I picked this place because it was close to the Skunk Train. Even though we didn't end up going on the train ride, I would definitely go back here for any kind of a visit to the Mendocino/Ft. Bragg area. This hotel is cheaper than the Mendocino B&Bs, and is in a more pleasant location than the hotels along the Main St. "strip" in Ft. […] Bragg. If driving here from 101, take 20 west, drive through the woods for about an hour, and as soon as you're out of the woods, the hotel is on your left. It is only ten minutes from Mendocino and about 5 minutes away from the Botanical Garden. It has everything a kid could want...a pool and cable TV! Even if your sightseeing goes bad, you can always hang out at the hotel and your child will love it. I had none of the problems mentioned in other reviews. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was substantial. Ask for a "ravine" room if you want a room with a view. Rooms with odd room numbers are not on the "view" side, but I didn't even notice. This hotel is nice and the room was clean. Microwave and big refrigerator in every room. Hotel staff was very nice.

Hotel is OK, be aware though that not all rooms were created equal. For the same price, you may get a run of the mill smallish size room with a view of the parking lot ,or one with a fireplace and a balcony and even a bit of a distant ocean view. This hotel more than met expectations. The rooms and linens were updated. Good free hot breakfast, menu changed each day. No view. Safe parking. Laundry across the road. Front desk and dining staff very nice.

We liked the hotel, breakfast was great, made a good central location for venturing out (though FB is not that exciting of a town itself...) Our room was clean and comfortable and did have a peekaboo ocean view.

The motel is conveniently located near the intersection of Hwy 20 and Hwy 1. Some rooms may have an ocean view as the Pacific is just across the highway. The property has been recently renovated and was very fresh and clean. The rate was very reasonable in comparison with others in the area.

The hotel was great! The pool and jacuzzi was clean and the continental breakfast was yummy! This hotel was a wonderful affordable place to stay in Fort Bragg.

The hotel/motel was fine - clean with nice staff - we had a highway view/noise room but it was ok. Nice exercise room and fine breakfast for those who eat it. It was not really convenient to town - which wasn't much either

After a quick check in, we found our room to be very spacious and very comfortable. The bed was very supportive, including firm and soft pillows to choose from. The nice breakfast spread in the morning was a definite bonus. The location right off of Hwy 20 next to Hwy 1 made it easy to go through Fort Bragg or visit Mendocino to the South.
