we were sorry to find out this resort was trying to sell us a time share. Did not have time or want to listen to the sales pitch. Would have probably picked a different hotel if we would have known this before booking.

Great location. In and Out Burger within a mile or two. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Quick access to freeway without the noise of traffic. Beautiful pool area. We did not find the hotel staff to be overly friendly. Lacking warm greeting and friendliness we are accustomed to.

We received no maid service. The grounds were not what you would expect at a resort. As an ARI member you would expect the grounds to have lush landscape I would never stay at a diamond resort again. We would have been better of staying at a hotel.

The hotel is very beautiful. The rooms are very old. The bathroom needs updating and is quite unsafe. Shower was slippery and there are no grab bars if person starts to slip. TV is very old and needs updating. It would be helpful if there were a mirror and small location for person to put on makeup while bathroom is in use.

Although I didn't get to use the amenities, this was a great place to stay. I didn't mind the 3rd floor (no elevator) location, but some might. I felt like I was on a mini-vacation, even though I was there for work. The grounds were beautiful, and the workout room was great! Hope to stay there again soon.

The location is a little tough to find if you're not familiar with the area but that meant not a lot of traffic and the grounds were lovely. My room was very clean, smelled very neutral, and was well maintained and updated. The bed was comfortable which is always important to me.

I was pleasantly surprised at the service from beginning to end. Have stayed in many hotels and the service wasn't as good as Villa Mirage. Villa Mirage provides excellence at best. Highly recommend Villa Mirage and will share with others. Continue providing the great service you do. Thank you.

This a "Diamond Resort" read timeshare that also books public openings. They try to pitch you the sysytem at check in. I waited 15 minutes for Hot Water in the shower. This was a renovated unit! This was a service failure from beginning to end. First, scroll to the Notification section and note the $250 deposit required for your stay. Irritating, but my own fault for not seeing it. After the desk clerk took that deposit, he told me the concierge had a "Welcome packet". At that desk I had to wait while the concierge on duty shared a lengthy […] personal anecdote with another guest on the phone, only to find out that the "Welcome Package" was just the time share pitch. Don't make a guest wait to be pitched. Once in the room, I found beach towels with a sign telling me 1) Don't steal the towels and 2) You can buy these towels if you like them. The towels went into the closet along with the sign. The bed had a sign telling me the linens were available for sale. In the kitchen, I found a sign telling me that one free packet of coffee was provided and additional coffee and filters were available for sale in the lobby. I flipped open my laptop to look for a grocery store and found that I could access the internet for just $8 a day. On the last day, I called to ask about check out procedures and was told there were none, but that I could call to check out. I gathered my linens, ran the dishwasher, etc, then called the desk to check out half an hour ahead of check out time. Four minutes on hold seemed ok until I found that the check out process consisted of 3 minutes of me listening to the clerk type and then being told I could leave the keys on the table and go. Great place to stay. The condos have all the amenities needed for an extended stay and I found it more comfortable than a typical hotel.

Staff was welcoming and helpful. Room was comfortable, perhaps smaller than some chain hotels, but higher quality in build and furnishings. Kitchenette with sink, dishwasher, microwave and real dishes made for comfortable stay. Makes use of AT&T wi-fi; so current customers with AT&T have internet access included, others pay.

We were staying and arrived late on a plane, and were told that they were out of single room units, so they would give us a double room unit but just for one night. Then we would have to move to another room. Rather frustrating as the days were busy enough as they were. Their scheduling and planning […] could be improved. Then we got to the double unit and the beds were not even made up. So we had to move to yet another unit. Quite frustrating at 2:30 in the morning. They did not have a good handle on which units were ready and which were not. However, they were very courteous, respectful, and apologetic. They gave us some free water bottles for our trouble. It was still too hot to enjoy being outside unless you were in the swimming pool. The property was a little difficult to find (even Onstar got it wrong on the first 2 attempts). We had a Studio and it was big enough for the two of us. Their restaurant closed at 7 PM and there wasn't any place within walking distance to eat or buy food. This place is cool. Used while attending a seminar. Left about 6:AM & returned about 9:PM everyday. I only slept & showered there, but my experience was really good. We spend a lot of time in the Phoenix area doing solar installations , and this was our first stay here . There was a special going on , so we paid about half of thier going rate , which looked great on paper . The room looked great on the site and even better when we got there . However , we had some issues that kept us from rebooking there this week […] . First off , they charge extra for wifi access in the rooms , which actually made up the difference of our savings from our regular hotel , and then some . The ceiling fan in my room was out of balance and made too much noise to leave on when I went to bed . The air conditioner sounded like a frieght train was going by my room , when it kicked on . This made sleeping through the night impossible , everytime it kicked on I woke up , and then faught to get back to sleep . This was brutal , since I have to get up at 4:00 am for work . I can't even imagine spending a vacation like that . I'm sure that my experience was more the exception than the rule ...... but , be forewarned . Everything was great except we wished that the cafe next to the pool would have been opened a little later.. Also we were able to really hear the neighbors through the joining door.. We had a hard time sleeping with their screaming kids...otherwise, we loved it

The only complaint I had was security was called for a noise complaint @ 11 pm when 2 of my children were sleeping and me and my youngest daughter were the only ones awake sitting at the table eating pizza, so that really frightened myself and my daughter for no reason what so ever?? There were not enough parking. As always I left my handicap paking sticker at home.which wouldn't be to useful since there were only one handicap making spot on each side. But other wise it was nice and these night was contonected

Very nice property. Very clean and updated ( we were in a renovated room). The only issues would be the (albiet brief) but hard sell of the time share presentation and the fact that there is not daily maid service unless you are there 5 days. We were ok with the bed not being changed and they did provide extra towels, it is more about the garbage being […] not emptied. We weren't told about this in advance so did not find out until we called on day 2 to inquire when they would be coming in. The kitchen was stocked with high qualtiy equipment. We received an unexpected upgrade from a single room to a suite. We did have a difficult time finding our room at first. We arrived later in the evening and noted the outside building identifications and room numbers are not properly illuminated and easy to read. My boyfriend and I wanted to stay in Scottsdale and we didn't realize this hotel would be so far away from Scottsdale Fashion Square. Most reasonable in area due to local business meeting. Great facilities, skip the studio and get the 1 BDRM for the additional money- space, pillows, larger balcony, shower a huge upgrade over studio. Good luck finding parking during peak season. Thin walls/windows- you'll know that the neighbor has an early flight!!
