A környék jó, 2 metróvonal elérhető 5 perc sétával. Sok kis bolt (abc=marché, kávézó, étterem, pék, zöldséges) a környező utcákban. A szállóban nem kaptunk szobát, valami felújítás miatt, de 50m-re volt egy apartman jellegű nagyobb konyhás zuhanyzós szobájuk, amit így felár nélkül odaadtak, csak reggelire kellett átsétálni a szállóba (ami az árban benne volt). A ** valóban két **-ot jelent, egyszerű, de nem lelakott. Mondjuk ezen a környéken (Montmarte) minden kicsi (boltok, egyéb házak, utcák, járdák), de ezzel együtt megvan a varázsa, nekem bejött. A szobában kicsit dohos szag volt, de gondolom ez a régi építésű házaknak tudható be. Ez az, ami egy kicsit levon az élményből. A recin beszéltek más nyelvet is a francián kívül, szláv nyelven jobban, mint angolul, de egész jól el tudták mondani, amit akartak. Chipes bankkártyával szinte mindenhol lehet fizetni (metrójegy automatából minden állomáson, boltokban, akármilyen kicsi is legyen) Ami egy hangyányit bosszantó volt: A Louvre-ban a kiállított műtárgyaknál minden csak franciául van kiírva (se angol, se német, se egyéb), jó pénzért lehet bérelni fülhallgatós guide-ot 5-6 nyelven. Március 10-13 között voltunk, napközben végig, de 2 alkalommal még este is pulóveres/kardigános időben volt részünk. A metróállomásokon ingyen turistatérképet adnak, ha kérsz (metróvonalak, buszvonalak, gyorsvasút vonalak). Ami nagyon tetszett, hogy a metrók közötti átszállásnál nem kell új jegyet venni, mint Bp-en. Utazás: Ryanairrel mentünk, Párizstól 80 km-re valami B betűs sok magánhangzót tartalmazó kisvárosban szállt le a gép, ahonnan a fapadosokhoz igazítva fejenként tizenöt ójróért busszal bevisznek párizsba, kb. másfél óra alatt. Vissza ugyanez, összességében (repjegy+transzfer) még mindig olcsóbb, és nem sokkal hosszabb, mintha valaki a Párizsi nagy reptereken közlekedik (De Gaulle, Orly), amik azért szintén nem Párizs közepén vannak.

By the Tuileries gardens on the Seine’s Right Bank, the Louvre museum dominates Paris’s cultural heart. Coffee pot not in room as advertised. Room on ground floor number 1. large bright light outside of window that could not be blocked with a curtain - - no other rooms to change to.

"Leaves a lot to be diesired"
I was disappointed with the hotel. It did not bother me that the room was small. I expected that in an European Hotel. The staff was nice and helpful for directions and places to eat. BUT-the elevator could only accommodate one person with a little luggage, the TV did not work, the WIFI signal was too week and there was no soap with which to shower […] in the bathroom. We only spent one night there. But if I needed to be in Paris longer, I would have changed hotels and not stayed the first night. The neighborhood was smelly and a little seedy with homeless types hanging around near the hotel. Someone yelling and screaming woke me very early, around 3:00 a.m. The hotel was clean, but needs attention and new elevators that can accommodate more than one or two people. Also, I was not offered any sort of credit for the non-working TV. Staff couldn't leave the front desk to try to fix it. It was in a great location, however, a short walik to the Rue de Rivoli, the Louvre, and shopping. Staff recommended L'Auberge Cafe for dinner and it was delightful. További részletek

Absolutely great location! A 10 minute walk in one direction and your at the Louvre and 10 minutes the otherway for Notre Dame. 300 yards away is a nice shopping area with plenty of restaurants. "Tiny rooms, great location, expensive breakfast"
The rooms we had was tiny with the bed taking up about half the space. There was little room for luggage. We had the small continental breakfast which we thought would cost €7.50 but in fact cost €17.50 each per day. This is a real rip-off so beware - far cheaper to eat at a local restaurant. There were plenty of restaurants around generally double […] the price you would expect to pay in London. Paris is not very cosmopolitan when it comes to food so when you get tired of the French food there is an Indian restaurant not far away near C&A. The only special feature of this hotel is its location. It lies between Notre Dame and Le Louvre. It is also handy for RER links to CDG airport. This is a quite adequate hotel with a location of 10 minutes walk from Louvre and 5 minute from major train station..The staff was was quite helpful and the bed was comfortable. Do not go for the breafast as bakery is quite close. Would stay here again. Must disclose was unable to make call to US from the room despite their insistance it could be done. Once I got over the initial shock of the tiny room size, I was pleasantly suprised and grew to like each day. It is perfectly located in the centre of the city. Room is reasonable for Paris, but amenities are missing (no conditioner, etc.). Most importantly though, the internet is so slow that my email client wouldn't even connect. "Perfect location, lovely staff, great room"
I originally made a booking with Airbnb which was disastrous and I had to leave after one night, which was very stressful as I was travelling alone. In the morning I quickly booked this hotel for 8 nights as it looked clean, and was in a good area. I turned up at 11am, having only had 4 hours sleep, to leave my bags and come back later to check in. […] The young gentleman on reception was so lovely, spoke perfect english, told me my room was ready (I'd booked it one hour previously online!) and they had upgraded me! I was so happy to be in such a clean, comfortable room, I had a little balcony, with a great view of the street, and I thought the room/bathroom was far bigger than some I've stayed at in London. I did book a double room, which I think was worth it for the space. The express breakfast buffet was only 7 euros which I thought was a great price, my room was immaculately cleaned every day, and all the staff stopped to say hello to me. As a young woman, travelling alone, this made my holiday all the more enjoyable, and I really felt like it was home. The hotel is excellently placed to explore the whole city. You are a two minute walk from Pont Neuf, and it's so easy to walk down down the river to Louvre/Musee D'Orsay/ Eiffel Tower or across to Saint-Germain, or the other direction to the Marais and Bastille. We spent two nights in this hotel and were delighted by the service. Desk personnel was very friendly and spoke good English. Our room was quite small but clean and cozy. The main thing about this hotel is the location; it's about 100 yards from Pont du Neuf - pretty much smack in the middle of the city and an easy walking commute to all the central sights. I even asked reception to confirm they'd given me a superior room ... and when I commented somewhat tongue-in-cheek that the room looked nothing like the pictures on their website, the concierge smiled, shrugged and said "well, of course not monsieur". In all it's an adequate hotel in a good location, is clean and comfortable, but tiny. Even the lift could only hold a max of 2 people with bags. I got a good rate, which is why I tried it, but I wouldn't stay there again as I know there are many other hotels in the area for around the same price that are larger and more comfortable. This was our 2nd trip to Paris so we knew what to expect as far as size of the rooms, etc. This hotel was somewhat better than most that we have stayed in. Just keep in mind that you are not in the United States so the rooms will be smaller than what you would get for a 4-star hotel in the U.S. Once you get beyond that, it was really nice. It was quiet […] and very clean. My only complaint was that we felt slighted by one of the front desk clerks who seemed to be irritated that we were there. He took his time waiting on us whenever we appeared, seeming to draw out conversations and situations with other customers beyond the norm. Most of the time, all we wanted to do was drop off our key or pick up our key...and still we had to wait sometimes 15 minutes while he continued his conversations with other people. We're not sure if he really was trying to avoid us or if that is just the way things are done in France. We also tried to add our Best Western member # to our account, and he refused to do so. "Innacurate claims of being a business hotel"
The room was extremely small and there was no appropriate place to work on my laptop. The hotel tries to add amenities, like a refrigerator, to tiny rooms, which only takes up more precious space. Great location, but if you are going for work, skip it for sure.
"Too small, too noicy and too expensive"
The room is very small, and we're used too small rooms in Paris, but this is really too small - especially compared with the price. Then there's a lot of noice from the street. Next times we will stay at other hotels with cheaper rates or we will be sure of the quality of the rooms. The location and service is great, but that can't do everything.

Train from CDG dropped me off in walking distance from hotel. Great location! Closet sized room however you don't spend time in your room when in Paris.. Friendly staff..

This hotel was perfect for our vacation. It is minutes walk from the Louvre museum, near all the shops and restaurants. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet,well worth it in the cozy little breakfast room. Staff was exceptionally friendly and professional. I will stay here next year when I plan on coming back to Paris!!

Great location, very helpful staff as I find is always the case with the brand Best Western. As expected room was very small and no tea or coffee available! A very nice stay but maybe not 100% value for money (we paid quite a bit for our room)... then again it is Paris!

We spend four nights here and wouldn't change a thing. It is close to almost everything. If it is not close, the hotel is close enough to the hop-on-hop-off bus or boat so everything becomes accessible. Overpriced for a small room and no tub, horrible room service (very expensive and terrible quality, stale chips and tiny portions) but the beds were incredibly comfortable and the location absolutely ideal. The staff did everything they could to be helpful.

The hotel was in a great location, but on a quaint street and gave a really great atmosphere for Paris. Enjoyed our stay and would reco this hotel to friends/family. We did not choose to do the breakfast at the hotel, but nearby (exit hotel turn left, then turn left) was a fantastic bakery.

Selected due to proximity with central Paris. We were essentially out in Paris daily from morning until night - when temperatures in Paris these days exceeded 40 deg. C. The cost of the room does not justify the type or the rat size of it. The Wi fi signal is so weak that you had to wait for awhile just to get to any web site, e-mail or Skype. The reception was no help to resolve any problems that I had.

Staff was Terrific. Hotel is close to everything. BTW you can get breakfast for 6 euros next Door at the Pont 9 cafe. The Rooms are small, & the AC doesn't seem to work very well. The Elevator in very Tiny!
