The Hotel is located perfectly in the Financial District, very convenient if your work is performed around this area. The only draw-down is that is a little noisy a night because its located in Rua Iguatemi, where big buses transit constantly.

Simply put, a mafia run hotel. I extended my stay THE DAY BEFORE, talked to the hotel front desk and everything was supposed to be all right. They waited until 7:30 pm THE NEXT NIGHT, called me to my room to tell me that I either had to pay 80 reais more or had to move rooms immediately because they made a mistake telling me that the rate I paid allowed […] me to stay in the same room. I moved, since I don't like to be muscled around, the room they moved me WAS EXACTLY THE SAME (so it was obviously a ploy to take money from a tired business traveler). At checkout, they attempted to charge for minibar stuff, WHICH I DIDN'T EVEN TOUCH. I have been going to Brazil for 15 years, NEVER had something like this happening. NEVER AGAIN will step on the Tryp or any Melia run hotel. There are too many options out there, I DON'T LIKE TO BE TAKEN FOR A RIDE. További részletek

The ad says internet is free but it was dead slow. They offer a $R40.00/day for faster internet service. The ad was misleading. I booked a non smoking but they gave me a smoking room. If you have some business in Itaim Bibi or Faria Lima, this is a very nice hotel. The fitness room is really nice on the top floor of the hotel. Also breakfast is good. For a week really good.

I was pleased with this hotel as a comfortable business hotel. The staff were all very personable and helpful, at the front desk, the bell staff and the restaurant. Small thing, but no facial tissue in the bathrooms. seemed odd, but they said they dont offer that.

This is a weel located hotel, but on a very busy corner, so a bit noisy. The premium rooms are comfortable though small. I think the hotel is due for a little freshening up. Service was good. I picked the Tryp Iguatemi as I had business on Faria Lima Boulevard and it was convenient to this area of the city. Although Sao Paulo has a pretty good public transportation system, as a foreigner who does not speak the language, I am pretty much forced to use taxis to go everywhere, and this can get a bit pricey if you take one every day. The Tryp […] Iguatemi allowed me to walk to most of my business meetings. The one downside is that the Internet service was atrocious. On Expedia the hotel is listed as offering complimentary WiFi Internet service to their guests. This is partly correct. Actually there are two types of services offered, a Free service for their guests, and a premium service which you can pay for on a daily basis. Presumably the paid service offered faster service, but at $R40 a day (about $25 USD), I wasn't about to find out. The Free service offered to guests was extremely slow, and you could not rely on it for day to day business work, which is one of the main reasons I chose the hotel. További részletek

The hotel is in a safe location although with limited places to go in walking distance. Some restaurants and shops are within walking distance, but then again Sao Paulo is very spread out. The hotel´s biggest strength is location, situated near the financial center of Sao Paulo. Keep in mind that everything around the hotel is extremely expensive, twice what you would expect to pay in NY or a European Capital. I would suggest to get your meals elsewhere. My stay was going well until my check out time. I was leaving to the airport early in the morning, send and e-mail the night before to the front desk and called to see if they could print my boarding pass. Guess what? Boarding pass was not printed. Asked where the business center was located, when I arrived there to print, guess what? Business center […] was closed. Went back to front desk and fwd them again my boarding pass. Got it printed, however 20min had passed and I was about to miss my flight. Went to restaurant to get a coffee to go, guess what? They don't have a cup and lid for people that want a coffee to go... I spent 5 days in hotel tryp iguatemi. It is an excellent hotel located in a very expensive district of sao paulo. Price of hotel might be a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Costumo me hospedar na rede Melia e sou bem atendido. No Tryp Iguatemi me colocaram em um apartamento com cheiro de cigarro insuportável. Pedi para trocar e informaram que teria de pagar aproximadamente mais 40% da diária. A internet não funcionou direito. Reclamei de novo. Depois de muito insistir e pedir o telefone da ouvidoria, acabaram conseguindo […] um apartamento para não fumantes. A surpresa final foi a cobrança do café da manhã, que já estava incluído na diária. Quase 1 hora na recepção até chegar uma funcionária mais educada e esclarecida e resolver a situação. Fue una estadía corta, mi recomendación es no usar el teléfono del hotel ya que dos llamadas locales de pocos minutos me costo lo mismo que una noche de hospedaje, es mejor usar el correo electrónico por que es gratis el internet o tarjeta prepagada, todo lo demás muy bien.
