Comfort Inn Southwest - Houston

Location was OK. Very close to interstate. Traffic noise was noted. Clean and comfortable. No DVD player. Internet access was good. Breakfast was fabulous-the best part of my stay. Pool was clean, but very dated. Spa air pump didn't work. No shaded areas at all.

Never had hot water in the tub. when I told them they said, "well, on the 3rd floor you have to let it run for awhile" when I asked how long I should let it run they said 15 mins. I let it run 25...still no hot water.

I was very much saddened when I left my camera in my room upon check-out, and no one seem to care much. I had to make several calls, and none of them answered my questions to my satisfaction. I don't think I will ever use that hotel ( Comfort Inn ,Houston, Texas ( ROOM 202 ) again.

I witnessed unprofessional service on mulitple occasions which is not appropriate to delineate online. Also, they advertised a pool and it was not open. Breakfast food was a good variety, although the woman in charge was grumpy and unkind, unwilling to meet reasonable request for some people. My room was pretty and clean. Great Value! Great Hotel! The staff was very friendly and helpful! The breakfast include most turkey bacon and waffles which is a definite change of pass from the normal continental breakfast. The room include a microwave and refrigerator. All the amenities at a great price.

This hotel was more than I expected. It has a full-size kitchen equipped with a full-size refrigerator and microwave oven. It is perfect for extended stays. the room could use a little updating, but overall the stay was really nice.

Hotel is ok and overall cleanliness acceptable. Being so close to the freeway, the room felt like it was built in the middle of a race track. So noisy, all night. There were a few mishaps that should not be expected from anyhotel. During the 3 nights of my stay ... the key stopped working for no reason on several occasions. Appearance on outside was nice, inside was fair, but not overly clean. Old style TV's and only about six channels, air conditioner unit did not work correctly, continental breakfast was very bad. Would not recommend or ever go back to this place.

Comfortable and convenient. The entrance was kinda tricky. I had to make a u turn and go back around but other than that, it was nice.

I am a frequetn business traveler and have fairly high expectations for hotels. I enjoyed a queen suite for one night. I arrived fairly late in the evening. It was sifficult to find due to the "feeder" Highway system in Houston. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and nicely appointed. considering the price it is OK but room is too noisy because of the highway traffic 24/7. we could not sleep without the air conditioner noise because the hwy noise is so big -truck break noise and high speed traffic noise..A/C noise neutralize the outside noise and it helped me sleep better. bathroom is ugly but acceptable.. price was good.

I was pleasantly surprised to open the door of my room. It was a nice large room, clean and comfortable. It was The breakfast was also very nice. They have eggs, bacon, and sausage, and other continental breakfast stuff. I would stay over here again.

I stayed at the hotel almost a week and I have no complaints besides no wifi being in the rooms. There is Internet service in the rooms but you'll have to use a cord to plug into your computer. The rooms are actually nice and clean!!! I will definitely return

Room was clean. Tub faucet leaked. Not a comfort issue just a waste of money. Sensed the night clerk was a bit inconvenienced by checking me in. Full breakfast was fine. Bed & pillows were comfortable. AC was a bit slow cooling the room (humid) but got the job done. Hot water was only warm at 6:30a. Convenient to highway access. Had to drive around […] the block to get to the driveway after missing the turn in. Drive does not turn directly into the parking lot. Driveway turns off frontage road & goes behind adjacent building to get to the hotel. Most parking in the rear. Dimly lit. Would stay here again if necessary, but would not drive out of the way to do so. Compared to other hotels in its class, this facility is perhaps somewhat better than average. the shower water was so hot even with the knob facing the cold water, almost boiling so I wasn't able to shower. They told me to leave the water running for 15 minutes so it would cool down, but it never did and it was such a waste considering they want to be environmentally friendly.

Overall the hotel wasnt bad for the price. You have to be careful of the breakfast stampede at 0800. Too many people were eating the "free" breakfast like it was their only meal for the day. If you are needing to have an emergency hotel, this is one to go to. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, keep driving to the heart of the city. We evacuated from Isaac and this was the best priced hotel. Also, they worked with us to keep the price we originally received online since we needed to stay one extra day.
