This hotel provides really excellent service is very clean and conveniently located both to get to from airport or station and down into centre of Venice.

Hotel excellent location for cruising, 20 min. ride on Airbus 5,00 Euro to Plaza Roma, walk literally 1 city block to hotel & People Mover to Cruise ship 5,00 Euro. Negative, breakfast SHOULD have been included for the cost.

Hotel was in a very easy access location less than 5 minutes walk from the bus station. Staff very freiendly and helpful. Hotel is about 30 minutes walk from St Mark's square and Rialto bridge but the walk was enjoyable with lots of interesting streets to get lost in.

Arriving outside of this hotel, we all agreed that the area around us reminded us of a film set. It was very pretty with a canal running past with a bridge. I was hoping that this hotel would be located a little closer to the main Venice area-it is located very close to the train station and car parks which was ideal to walk to when we arrived, but […] getting to St Marks Square for instance was a bit of a hike! I noticed on arrival that there was some hairs left on the bathroom floor and on the side of the bath, and the radiator in that room was also leaking water on to the tiles. Later when I came to dry my hair I noticed that the hairdryer cord plastic was snapped exposing the wires which I found very dangerous. However, the bed was extremely comfortable and on arrival the room maids has left a box of Venetian biscuits wrapped in gift paper. Overall, the hotel was acceptable for 1 nights stay. We paid a discounted rate,and I think it was worth the amount that we paid - if I had paid the actual amount that the hotel charges on their website, I would not have been happy with the quality of the room. splendid place! lovely spacious room with beautiful venetian-style furniture, overlooking the grand canal. courteous staff, convenient location. don't forget to order a prosecco at the bar - it comes with a bowl of wild strawberries and chunks of coconut.

Very nice hotel, room was very comfortable. The hotel is located very close to public transport system in a nice quite section of town. nearby we found some very nice restaurants. It is 20 minute walk to San Marco.

We recently stayed at the Papadopli post cruise and had an excellent experience. The hotel is very convenient to the cruise terminal and the transportation hub (trains and buses). Literally a short walk. The service at the hotel was wonderful. They provided maps, directions ideas for activities and made suggestions. The breakfast buffet is comprehensive […] and the wait staff is great. The hotel is a hub for tour groups and business people. It is on a side canal, across the little bridge are several cafes, with several great restaurants within a short walk. It is easy to get to St. Marks just by taking the water bus, which is a short walk away. Or, a water taxi can pull up right outside the hotel. További részletek

Located in a small sqare a stone,s throw away from the traghetto which can take you to all the important sights. It has its own dock if you take a water taxi from the airport. Room was comfy and had all the goodies including sumptuous robes. Breakfast was included.

Couldn't have been happier! This hotel is one of the few that is actually on the "Island" part of Venice, but convenient to ground transportation. There is a vehicle bridge that connects to the Island and only accesses the cruise ship terminal and the Piazzale Roma, which is a bus and taxi drop off area and parking lot. The Papadopoli Hotel is just […] over one footbridge from the parking lot (maybe 50 yards?) and impossible to miss. Out and away from the crazy crowded and touristy St. Mark's Square area, the hotel is next to several small canals and foot bridges. Be sure and ask for a canal view room, the view is unbelievable. We were in room 226, which is slightly larger than your typical mini euro room. Central heat and A/C, tub/shower combo, comfy beds. Beautiful restaurant and smaller lobby area. Walk out the front door, and you are in the heart of the Venice dream. Ask at the desk for a map, and visit the churches that are close by. Uninteresting outside, unbelievably impressive inside. The best I have seen in Europe. Be sure and bring your tennis shoes, you will be doing a lot of scenic walking. The only downsides we encountered were: 1) The desk staff is great except for one lady that had an incredibly bad attitude. Several guests commented on her unprofessional behaviour spanning several days, but we just ignored her. 2) Venice is expensive, but the vacation of a lifetime! További részletek

Hotel is just a few minutes from the bus depot, which makes it perfect for those departing on or returning from a cruise. It is away from the heavy tourist area, and exploring the back "roads" of Venice is easy. Good clean room. I had a KIng sized bed, but consider it more like a US Queen.

This former Sofitel hotel is very nice and very convenient if you want to be near all of the transportation systems so that you can easily travel in and out of the St. mark's square area without staying in the St. Mark's area. It is easy to walk to everywhere as well. Our only disappointment was the fact that nowhere was there mention of any cost for […] the continental breakfast. Only after having our cup of coffee, croissants, yogurt, butter and jelly were we presented with a bill for 25 euros each or $35 for a simple breakfast that is usually free. easy to get to from the airport, bus drops you at piazza Roma bus terminal and only one bridge to cross with cases to get to hotel. easy acess to water buses on the grand canal. can also walk to Rialto Bridge and san Marco. Rooms very clean and well presented.

Great position and very friendly staff - rooms are comfortable and well furnished with room service which can be lacking in much more expensive hotels - when we were there the lifts were working intermittently, but as we were on the first floor we could use the stairs - not so good if you were on the 4th floor. I would generally recommend this hotel […] and it is easy to get to from the bus or train stations and is only 50 meters from the water bus stop. It is not near the major attractions - but you can get to those easily by water bus - buy a pass not individual tickets. 4 star hotel easily reached by land taxi to the Piazelle le Roma, then walk across a small canal. 5 minute walk to the central vaporetta station. Charming district, not nearly as touristy as San Marco. Very helpful and polite front desk help. On a small canal, many gondolas pass - picturesque. Breakfast buffet good, but expensive.

We liked the hotel and the neighborhood which was very nice. The room was VERY small but that is normal for Europe. Just a block off of the Grand Canal which is the major waterway in Venice. The train station is located there and so are the water taxis, (which are VERY expensive), and the water bus, which is MUCH more resonable and takes you all along […] the canal, even to St. Marks Square. The hotel exchanges US currency for Euors and doesnt charge a service charge which is VERY nice. The internet is on your TV in your room and is kind of hard to navigate, but will do, and the cost is 10 Euro for 24 hrs. There is a park close by with playground equipment for those with kids. 기차역에서 넘어지면 코 닫는 위치에 있음 늦은 시간 도착하여 찾아가기는 물론 도시 여행 일정 중 대중교통의 편리를 보장합니다. 보통 역앞의 호텔 환경이 번잡스럽기 마련인데, 이 호텔은 파파돌리 공원 안에 있어 정숙하고 쾌적했습니다. 위치, 서비스, 정숙성에서 최고의 호텔입니다. 다만 무선 인테넷이 유료입니다.

Ideally located, the hotel is adjacent to a quiet canal and park, yet conveniently (for travelling to and from airport et) only a 5 minute walk from the bus area at P. Roma. This situation means being a bit out of the main hub of tourist activity but we found that a blessing! And the extra 30 minutes walking by quieter canals everyday was very pleasant […] (also resulted in us finding some very nice restaurants.) The room, breakfasts, facilities and hotel in general, were lovely, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Based on our experiences we can fully recommend this hotel. Wir erhielten ein super Zimmer im obersten Stock mit Balkon und Blick über die Dächer von Venedig. Sogar eine eigene Nespresso Maschine mit Kapseln stand zu Verfügung. Gute Lage um mit dem Auto, Bus oder Zug anzureisen. Freundlicher Service. Wir waren sicher nicht zum letzten Mal da.
