"Nice, but not fabulous."
After doing a great bit of research on TripAdvisor and other resort review websites, we chose CSA for a last minute vacation. We wanted an all-inclusive resort with a nice beach, good food and space to relax quietly and unwind after the holidays. The good- CSA definitely has a nice, super long beach with beautiful white sand, turquoise water and plenty […] of palm trees for shade. The foam floats on each of the lounge chairs was a great & unique idea for cushioning and swimming! You can wade out quite a ways in the ocean and still have a nice sandy bottom (no stubbed toes on coral). And it was definitely nice not to have kids running around splashing and disrupting the peace and quiet of the gorgeous beach. We did not take advantage of the water sports as I had thrown out my back, but it looked like the staff was friendly and helpful with a bunch of small hobbies, sunfish, paddleboard (only 1), kayaks, water-skis, etc. Most people said skip the snorkeling trips because the water was too rough. We did love the sunset catamaran/booze cruise. It was probably the highlight of our trip. If you are going and have your own snorkel mask and snorkel, bring them for swimming in the caves off the catamaran. You can't take the CSA masks/snorkels. The okay- We had read that the food at CSA was fabulous from many reviewers. I have to say we found it only ok. I have been to and worked at many all-inclusives (Iberostar, Club Med, Paradisus, etc) and I would say the food was no better than any of the others (and worse when comparing the fabulous breads and deserts at Club Med and the specialty restaurants at Paradisus). The CSA buffets were fair to good. The specialty restaurants were also only fair to good. We did like the self serve ice cream and Red Stripe taps. And the bar service and drinks were very good. If you don’t like your mixed drinks strong, be sure to ask for light booze cause the bartenders have very heavy hands when it comes to their drink pours (not a bad thing, but j További részletek
"Couples Swept Away - The Best Resort"
Couples Swept Away might be a little bit more in price, but it is worth every penny. The service is usually great and a few members of the staff went way out of their way to help out. There are several activities that you can do as a group, like a cruise, snorkeling adventure, or tennis. The whole resort is beautiful and makes for a great setting for […] weddings. The food is great, and available most of the day at the Grill. The people selling things on the beach can get annoying, but they walk the entire 7 mile beach and you can't get away from them. For sure Couples Swept Away is worth every penny and I can't wait to go back. További részletek
"Very Nice but Strategize your room level"
We stayed in a "Garden Veranda Suite." For only a little more $ you can get a much cooler suite right on the beach or a jacuzzi suite. Go to their website and really study the map. Walking around I thought the Beachfront Suites were the coolest looking with the best locations (right on the beach but alot of foot-traffic). These are NOT the beachfront […] Veranda suite just beachfront suites. I don't know why they're cheaper but they both looked awesome. Room walls are thin. Employees are helpful. I don't 'fine' dine often so I was worried about the dress codes but they were relaxed about enforcement. Overall, very nice. További részletek
"The Swept Away Couples Resort in Negril, Jamaica"
The food was excellent. The option to eat in two restaurants and off the menu or from a buffet was exceptional. The bars had limitations. One day out of Mojito mix; next day, no mint. Then, the Red Stripe machine breaks down. The rooms were spacious but noisy. Woke to leaf raking of the employees one morning. The next morning, a guest was locked out […] of his room as the latched secured when he closed his door. The transportation to/from the airport was prompt and courteous. The catamaran cruise was excellent. További részletek
"Unreal!!!"
Couples Swept Away is a place with the most beautiful sights you can imagine but that isn't in the top 3 great things about it. 1- the service is the best. The workers, no matter their job, were as genuine as it gets. They really wanted to help you. 2- the food. Great food esp. Patois Patio and Lemongrass. 3- the catamaran. Do it, you won't be disappointed. […] Plus you get to see the caves up close and personal. Overall it was the best vacation ever and we will go back. További részletek
"Perfect Getaway"
We went to this resort for our honeymoon and absolutley loved it! Our room was a great house veranda suite - the room itself was comfortable and had an amazing partial view of the carribean. The all inclusive package includes many activites that could satisfy all ages. I recommend everyone do the catamaran sunset cruise. Snorkeling was o.k. - not much […] fish when we went & the water was choppy, but could still see the bottom of the ocean floor. Our favorite place to eat was by far Lemongrass - Make sure you make reservations the day you get there because it fills up fast! The only complaint with the food would be the desserts - we are huge sweet fanatics and the desserts weren't that impressive for us. So make sure you bring your snicker's bar and reese cups! Also make sure you bring plenty of sunscreen because it is very expensive in the gift shop. Remeber Jamaica has strong uv rays so pack a sunscreen stronger than you normally wear. The drinks at the bars are wonderful & they are not stingy on the rum so no worries there! The staff at the resort is very friendly and will cater to your every need. For Example: when u are laying on the beach you get a flag - stick it in the ground and a staff member will come get your drink order. You also have floats waiting in your beach chairs to relax the ocean on. We spent plenty of time on them! Overall it was a wonderful honeymoon and we are planning on going back in the near future. I would recommend this hotel 100 times over! It is a must visit! További részletek

"Letztes Hotel unserer Jamaica Rundfahrt"
