We (a group of four students) stood in the Hotel for 2 days. After a long trip we could enjoy the sauna, yakuzi and swimming pool. We did not expect that for such a low price! The location is ok, but […] if you do not have a car (who has not a car in LA?) it might be unconvenient. Nonetheless, the beach is only 15min away if you are walking. Another big advantage is the short distance to the airport. The traffic in LA can be horrorable, so the hotel is a good place to stay, if you have to go to the airport. This hotel is is great! The staff greeted us very kindly and were very helpful. It is well located, very clean and has a great breakfast bar.We enjoyerd quiet weekend and were very comfortabloe with ourt room. Very affordable and one of the best hotels in the area.

Without a car it is impossible to get around the tourist spots of LA from this hotel unless you use taxis which are very expensive. We also had to wait until 2pm before checking in after arriving on a 12 hour flight from Australia at 9am. Friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable room, hearty breakfast buffet included. Noisy, obnoxious kids in the next room, but that's what ear plugs are for.

We stayed one night for a sports tournament for our son nearby. Was leary about the normal "motel" style stay since I am big on cleanliness of a room and don't usually like the motel style bedding. WOW. We pulled up, hotel property very clean.. attractive lobby exterior. Right next door to ORGEGA 120 (Great Trendy Mexican Food) and on right is a CVS […] and Corner Bakery Cafe (where I walked in AM for nice cup of Latte). Subway too. Centrally located to drive main road (PCH), just about a mile from most all the stores and food stops, so very easy location. Hotel staff was EXCELLENT, friendly, accomodating and welcoming every time I ran into lobby staff. Room was very clean, nice bedding, upgraded, soft, comfy! No ants, no hair, clean room! We went at night to indoor jacuzzi and sauna, open LATE till 11pm so that was nice. It was raining outdoors but pool was heated, so we just enjoyed inside jacuzzi for a bit. Morning offered a nice "Continental Breakfast", I'd rate it a 9 out of 10! Make your own waffles, muffins, croissants, cereal, fresh egg scramble and sausages, all types of juices and coffee - all you need for a great start to the morning! The hotel was close to the beach and had a great Mexican restaurant close by. However, we were given the room closest to the highway and it was quite loud. Also outside of our door was the designated smoking area and garbage so at midnight there were people talking and smoking right outside our window. We stayed here for 2 nights - hotel is walking distance to the Riviera area where there are some great cafes and restaurants and approx. 5 minute drive to Redondo Pier. We had no problems at all. Our room was ready when we checked in.. The room was clean, quiet, and convenient to the lobby and breakfast room. Breakfast was good and I liked having the waffle maker for freshly made waffles.

Very friendly staff, clean rooms and the best breakfast.

Our hotel room size was very comfortable for the price we paid. Our only disappointment was the bathroom size and shower water pressure was not up to par. The continental breakfast made up for it!

There was nothing wrong with this hotel it was just a wrong choice for us. Most of what we wanted to do for our mini vacation was in the Hollywood or Santa Monica area, anywhere from 15 to 30 miles away. The commute to these places was terrible. After a night of dinner at Ortega 120 we decided to stay and not drive the hotel rep accommodated us very well nice room and with breakfast. Fully taken care of.

I would recommend a stay. The front desk was nice and informed us of local attractions within the area. Too bad there was not a view. Hot tub was nice and the continetal breakfast was great.

Our stay at the Redondo Beach Best Western Plus was great again.We stayed here 2 years ago and the place was so wonderful, we decided to stay again. The location is great;close to LAX, beaches and all of the Hollywood attractions. The Redondo Beach Pier is close and you must visit. Be sure to go to Quality Seafood and pick out your own lunch or dinner. […] They will fix it how you want and you can't get it any fresher. The Original Pancake House down the street is excellent. Garlic Jim's Pizza is fantastic. All of the staff is friendly and helpful. They are renovating at this time and parking is a little difficult but I promise you, you won't be disappointed. the bed was good but the pilllows were way to large arge, I asked if they had thinner ones but they said no. I had two lousy nights of sleep. Of course in spite of the pillows, the vent system and refrigerator constant noise proably woud have made it impossible to get much seep anyway. We did enjoy the hot tub and the breakfasts. What more could you ask for? maybe another sink in the room... but thats unnecessary. The BREAKFAST WAS AWESOME... there is even a waffle maker! Free parking is a huge plus and its about a 15-20 min walk from some great beach areas. Not too busy and located in a great area. Was greeted by a helpful and courteous desk clerk. A clean, well appointed room with a flat screen Sony TV and a balcony that was unexpected. Loved this place! It was clean. Loved the sauna, hot tub, and heated pool even in December! The staff was very helpful. Its a 5 minute drive to the beach--maybe 20 minutes if walking. I chose the Hotel for Loacation, being within walking distance of the riviera ( an area I am familiar with) . The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful (even in the breakfast/ coffee shop). By the end of my stay I felt I was staying with friends. Not necessarily good for "walking" to area attractions but very close to everything! We drove to Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, the piers, and the malls. Great restaurants nearby, too. Hotel itself was basic and fairly clean. Great hotel for the price.

The Best Western Chain of hotels can vary greatly as each one is independently owned and operated. The Redondo Beach Inn is an excellent maintained hotel with large well equipped rooms. It was my girlfriends birthday so I wanted to get away from the inner city and have a over night stay in the Redondo Beach area. It turned out better than expected. We wanted an early check in but the room we was given was not ready so we came back down to the front desk and told them and the people at the front desk was so helpful and thoughtful about […] what happened. I told them it was not a problem but they wanted to make it right. So I asked them if they had a room with a jucuzzi in it the said yes. So they put us up in the Penthouse suite and the room was just great and was just what we was looking for. It was a one bedroon suite. With A living room with a fire place, a table for two, a 60 inch flat screen tv, a refrigerator with a complementary bottle of champagne in it. In the bedroom was a king size bed with a 40 inch flat steen tv, a desk and a bathroom with two vanities, a separate shower from a big time jucuzzi next to it. The room was just amazing for a Best Western. The pool area had a small gym but it had a great sauna along with a big clean indoor whirlpool with a heated pool outside. I did not exspect the pool and gym area to be so nice. As for the complementary continental breakfast, I was very happy and surprised with it. It was a hot, tasty breakfast with all the things I liked. Scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles made fresh by you, yogurt, cereal, toast , orange or apple juice. Danish and fresh fruit and coffee or tea.. It was just great. This Best Western felt more like a small resort than a Motel style place... The official rating is 2,5 stars, but we were very satisfied due to the cleanliness, excellent service and good location close to the beach and restaurants. On the other hand, it is not close to the downtown LA. The staff was very helpful.
