They advertised the pool was heated and come to find out it has not been a heated pool in quite some time. I booked at the end of March and a heated pool is a must.

We were very happy with this hotel. We had an oceanfront efficiency room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived early and was able to check in with problem. Our room was very clean. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We have been to Ormond Beach many times with our family. This was a romantic getaway for my husband and I. It was LOVELY. The hotel is clean and nice, with friendly and very accommodating staff. The breakfast is convenient and cheap but not very good quality (Powdered eggs and chewy pancake machine) and not really a great value when Peach Valley and IHOP are across the street. I would not eat breakfast there again. The wording of "ocean view" means that you are on the side of the building perpendicular to the ocean! But each room had an angled balcony so you could see the ocean from an angle. I would get an "Ocean front" room next time. This hotel is located on the north side of Ormond and we like it because it is not as close to the more commercial tourist area of Daytona. You can go down to Daytona easily for a bit if you like it but you can leave when you have had enough airbrushed t-shirts and shell art. Ormond is sweet and clean and friendly--great for families and great for people who need a little sand in their toes, sun on their skin, wind in their hair and the sound of waves in ears! Room was not ready at check in, had a block of three rooms reserved togeather, there was a mix up and rooms had to be changed. We were charged an additional 20 dollars per night to park our 12' motorcycle trailers several blocks away. Will never stay there again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We paid extra to stay in this hotel and have an ocean viw room. My idea of that is not looking out my balcony at the 2 hotels next door and if we want to look at the ocean we have to lean over the balcony and look to the right. We booked a room with a king sized bed, and recieved a room with 2 queen size beds.

Loved going to sleep to the sound of waves crashing on the beach. Ocean view was spectacular.

Clean room,spotless bathroom, friendly service. Good value.

Room was dusty and many items (such as ice container) were sticky and/or stained. Coffee pallets were not refreshed; kleenex tissue was not replaced. TV remote control did not respond like normal. This is the 2nd time we have stayed here this year, and I will definitely use them again. The service is always good and the rooms clean. Both times we checked in early and there was no problem, our room was ready. This time we got an upgrade to a suite without even asking. The only problem we had was lack of hot water. We had to let the shower run […] for 15 mins before we got hot water, but they said since it was in winter and less people staying there, that this could happen. A very comfortable and inexpensive hotel, just far enough away from the fray of things to make it enjoyable on the quite side, but no so far that you'd miss out on anything, if you chose to take part !!

The room was exactly what we were looking for. A place to unwind and relax while looking and listening to the ocean. Staff was very helpful. Hotel and room very clean and in good condition.

My Wife & I went there for a one night stay - had a balcony looking out at the ocean. Very windy & stormy so we couldn't go out on the beach, but were able to keep the balcony door open to hear the waves the whole time we were there.

The hotel was in a great location for getting to Daytona and surronding areas. Was a little disappointed in what was supplied with the efficiency room. I found our stay surprisingly nice. The hotel was conveniently located. The staff seemed unusually friendly and pleasant. This hotel was nice, relatively clean with a very large room which was great. The location on the beach was wonderful and the pool was big and well maintained. Really clean. Don't like the cars on the beach. But overall, great deal.

Liked the hotel,but didn't like being over the dumpster. Also the lip omeing in and out of the balcony is dangerous, I tripped twice and my brother in a wheelchair downstrairs fell over it and fell out of his chair.

Growing up in Florida, we've stayed at nearly every hotel in Daytona. This was one of our best experiences. The room was great. You must reserve an Ocean Front room to get the best view. The only down side of the stay is that there is not enough parking spaces so once you're lucky enough to find a spot, I'd advise you to not to move out of it. I was disappointed in my stay. I had booked an end unit and when we arrived, were told they didn't have one and put us on the other end of the building near the stairs and slamming doors. Stayed for the night with my mother 7/30-7/31/2011 oceanfront room # 211 when we arrived the light in the bathroom blew and we had to call front desk to fix. the sliding door was so hard to open it would take 2 to open or close we never had hot water to shower while we were there. Don't let their high rating fool you. The parking situation is an absolute mess. If you plan on driving away from the hotel, make sure you're back before 9 pm or you'll be forced to park across A1A and down the road at an unlit parking lot. Comfortable and affordable. Very clean.

Overall a good stay. Room was bigger than expected.nice to have a kitchen. Great view from the balcony. Parking was very limited. Some sour odor coming from the vending machine ice machine area, but room was clean and fresh. I will stay again if I come back. The beach was never crowded in this Ormond location.

The hotel was fine. Was clean, right on the beach as advertised. Easy check in and check out. The ONLY gripe I have with it is the extremely limited parking. The pool was great, the room was great, the service and cleanliness was great. The only bad part was the smell of the elevator, but that was manageable. Great location on the beach and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Very affordable and great family place too.

Loved the view of the beach and ocean! The room was clean and good sized. For some reason the comforter was left off the bed, folded on the floor after housekeeping came and made up the room.
