Explorers Hotel at Disneyland Paris - Aulnoy

The hotel is close the the Disney Park which was our main priority. The free bus takes you to the park in every 10-15 minutes from the morning hours. Staff was friendly

It's an ideal hotel as far as sleeping only is concerned, in other words if you plan on spending most of your time in the Disney Park. However if you decide to inlcude some rest days in between it's not the best place to be. During the day, apart from a sandwitch bar there are no real facilities for meals. The luggage storage facility at the hotel turned […] out to be very useful on our last day after checkout since our departing flight was only later that evening, it allowed us some freedom to venture out back to the village to do last minute shopping. However and lastly, claims that there is free WiFi in the hotel is exagerrated. There is very limited and intermittent WiFi around the hotel entrance/lobby area. The children play facilaties are fantastis, there is so much for them to do & the pool is great! Good Hotel Facilities. Very Poor Rooms for price paid. Staff never look happy. Breakfast time was a scrum. Happy Hour mobbed. I would stay there again if I had to, but I certainly would be reluctant to pay out for what I did!

Great location, great hotel and very efficient staff. Thoroughly enjoyed our trip, the shuttle service to Disneyland is regular and reliable. Only gripe.... A two euro charge per towel for swimming....meaning the pool is not 'free to use' and a crazy French rule regarding swim wear resulting in my husband not being able to join us in the pool....what […] could happen if he wore shorts instead of trunks which would be so bad?? Seeing as other guests were taking photographs on poolside and not being asked to stop, the trunks thing seemed very insignificant.... This hotel has a great location for going to Disneyland. Not anything else. The rooms were just ok. They were clean. But the power went out one day and the TV never worked. The shuttles were unreliable and didn't even come at the times hotel staff said. The pool was only open a few hours in the morning and a few in the evening. Never got to swim. we were very pleased with the value we got for our money. we are a family of five and the room had plenty of space for us. our kids went nuts for thebplayground and pirate ship themed pool. it was very easy to take the bus to disneyland. we would definitely stay there if we go back to disneyland

Very pleased with the convenience to Disneyland park and the availability of the shuttle bus. Loved the whole hotel set up with the play Center and the pool. The staff were really lovely and pleasant and helpful. Only downside was that our bathroom sink was blocked

the pool is good for children and has good slides, much better than you would expect for a hotel. The car park was busy one day. about 200 cars spaces and only about 10 free. the pillows are small and too soft. the breakfast was good with a lot of tables, so, there was never much of a queue.

Staff very welcoming on arrival. Explained all about the hotel and the where Shuttle bus goes from. There is a separate area for guest services which is great. The swimming pool is brilliant and open times are excellent. Breakfast was delicious and fresh.

The toilets were extremely foul smelling, which resulted in a strong aroma of septic pervading the room. Despite our placement of the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door, the hotel cleaning staff completely disregarded it, and entered the room, failing to adequately clean it each time.In fact,they do not clean the rooms at all. We realised that this was a 3star hotel but the hotel was even more shabby than expected especially on the level 1 near swimming pool area! Highlights... Dirty under beds, pillows were inadequate in size and comfort, empty toilet rolls nor towels not changed each day despite 'please make up my room', Edge of bed dropped out and sheets not fitted well! […] Corridor leading to and outside room very messy, room also felt a bit damp in room 106 as heaters not on. This was however a handy location to visit from with good shuttle bus, cheap place to sleep in between Disney visits ( Disney which was great) but for a similar price or a bit more money we could have had a better experience...my advice is - try another hotel like Circus which is next one along... Basic European hotel, the rooms are no frills. Morning buffet good start to the day, not your typical American breakfast light but filling. Bring your own washcloth if you are accustomed to using one. Kids would enjoy the pool area. Shuttle service was very good.

Good hotel that really catered very well for our young children with Large Softplay, Activity Swinmming pool (Slides/Pirate Ship) and Childrens rides. Kids love this hotel for the playground and pool but it is lacking in some of the basics that are fundamental - most particularly any noise proofing between rooms or rooms and corridors. I'm surprised Disney put their name on this hotel. The room was the size of a large closet, for a family of 4, we could barely move in the room. There was a tiny bathroom in which the only outlet did not work. There were no hand towels or wash clothes or soap to wash your hands! There was one restaurant that opened for breakfast and a few for dinner. […] Not much choice and very expensive. The pool was fun but they charged 2,00 euros per each towel, and you could not use the ones from your room! The staff was friendly at the front desk, but the house cleaning staff was inadequate! Not only did they not change the sheets the next day but we still did not get towels and soap we needed. It was so disappointing! They had a video game room that was outrageously expensive. They made it seem like it was a great hotel for families and it was nothing I would ever stay at again much less refer to a friend. Beware military community! We were very impressed with the swimming pool, it has water slides and a bucket that dumps water every few minutes, our children had a blast! We were in the pool twice a day! We were so happy with the bus connection to the train station and Euro Disney. We just had a standard room, which was fine, beds comfortable, room was small for 6 of us, but was fine for the price. Overall, I would diffidently recommend this hotel for a family! The hotel was basic (food and rooms) and the service was disappointing with unfriendly staff and often unorganised at peak times, however the major plus point for this hotel is the swimming pool which the kids loved. If it was not for the kids facilities, I would not recommend this hotel but because of this our stay was enjoyable.

have stayed before asa we have 3 children and saddly no other Disney hotels cater for that !!! this trip the rooms seemed tired and in need of updating etc . Also there was only 1 bar open , with only 2 staff which clearly could not cope during the evening , with long ques just to buy drinks and not many seats :((((

This was a great hotel for families although could help with some more information. Checkin is straight forward and the directions to the room are straight forward. If you get a family room (Called a crew room) try and avoid the room near the fire exit as this was used by staff early morning and late at night and was quite noisy. We were in room 436 […] which was clean and tidy and the beds were made up every day. We had to go to reception for more tea and coffee as this wasn't topped up. Milk was powdered so we brought some up from breakfast and left it on the windowsill to keep chilled (OK in November). The pool was a little chilly and very crowded in busy periods. some of the negative reviews gave me pause before we went, but we found this to be a perfect place to stay when doing Disneyland. Close, convenient, comfortable, and clean. The staff was friendly and efficient. The indoor play area, private ship, and especially the pool with water slides were huge hits with my kids. We'd stay there again happily.

Good hotel, i was pleasantly surprised as it was cheaper than many. Accomodation- my friend and I shared a 6 person Crew Room. It worked well for us, we put our four children, ages 4, 6, 6 and 7½ in the main bedroom, and we took the bunk bed room off of it. Food- Breakfast was great, loads to choose from, croissants galore, cheese, ham, yoghurts etc, […] cooked brek if required- we didn't. One evening we did the buffet, loads of choice, perfect for all of us who were too tired to choose anything off a menu. The breakfast & evening meals were also fine for one of the kids who has a severe nut allergy. Cleanliness- room was clean, even the grouting in bathroom was clean. Room was tidied each day & bin empited. Location- good, the shuttle bus (large bendy bus) stops here first on the way to Disneyland Parc, which meant you had to go round the houses but you got a seat.On the way back, Explorers is the first hotel to drop off. The soft play was good, big for a hotel & it was next to breakfast, dinner, bar, so we could have our drinks in peace ! A bit scary at the end of the day though with lots of children all super tired & fractious, sit close & watch out for baddies ! There was no one to help with my bags and I was traveling alone with a 2 year old so it was not easy to manage the bags and my daughter. I could not find my room and no one was available to ask. The pool could have been warmer. There was little to no services. This hotel is very very self service. Once you did find a staff member at the hotel however they were very helpful and friendly. I thought that this hotel was part of Disney and when I showed up at the park at 8:00 ready to enter with my 2 year old we were both very disappointed that we could not get in until 9:30.
