Only to be expected, but the double glazing has no affect against over night noise from deliveries! Plus, think you should separate the hot and cold breakfast buffet! Those who want hot queue for hot, and those that want cereal queue for that.

Very limited and expensive parking, however with cheap hotel rates and breakfast in the morning, combined with friendly and helpful receptionists, I would not hesitate to stop here again. I feel I made a good choice.

PARKING IS A NIGHTMARE. YOU CANNOT EVEN PARK LONG ENOUGH TO DROP OFF YOUR CASES. YOU HAVE TO GO MILES AROUND A ONE WAY SYSTEM. ONCE PARKED IT IS A SHORT WALKING DISTANCE BUT THIS SHOULD BE MADE MORE CLEAR IN THE DESCRIPTION OF THE HOTEL.

Service and quality you'd expect from Holiday Inn Express. One thing is the food, menu is very limited and I think any more than 2 nights you'd probably want to go out. Planty of restuarants nearby though.

Couldn't fault the stay at all. Always get what you expect from the group. Could is very conveniently located near Croydon Centre. Parking is by use of local car parks where they have very good discounted rates.Would stay here again

My initial view on finding the hotel was a sinking feeling at the area,about the reception and the room locationAll was prepaid yet the receptionist asked for a 45 pound deposit (by card) I was staggered as I had no information pre arrival,and in the ensuing discussion was told it was to cover damage I may do to the room!I refused to pay and would have […] cancelled had I not prepaid.The reason I chose HOL Inn was that these chains are reliable and you know exactly if the rooms are what you require,bit I dont expect to be told about my making damage .The room was cold the heater inadequate and I was woken from sleep at 4.20 am with the bins in the alley being emptied. Everything was great incl breakfast. All at Front Desk were VERY helpful & obliging. Maintenance Manager went the extra mile to help us get to the bus station. No complaints at all, would definately stay there again. Good value.

Breakfast is ok. Computer in lobby is pay as you go. No parking at all. For where it is, it's pretty quiet. No shampoo or bathroom extras. 5 minutes walk to East or West Croydon station / trains and buses. All the staff are foreign, so don't ask for directions!

What we were not happy with was the check in service (which was glacially slow even though there was only one person ahead of us in line after 11 pm) and though they advertise on here as having free wireless Internet in the guest rooms they told us that there was only wifi in the […] common areas that you had to procure a log in for which the night check in person didn't give us. Also the neighborhood was ok in the morning, very lively with the light rail running very close but at night it was a little shady looking with a strip club (i think that was it) right around the corner.
