This hotel is very affordable, very close to the beaches and many attractions. Though the hotel itself is rather dated it is stil clean and comfortable. The staff was very pleasant and hospitable. Definitley recommend it those on a budget but want a good time.

The room was very clean and the staff very nice. Ok for a one night stay. Too small and noisey for a longer stay. Also, not a great neighborhood.

I had already expected that this room would be cramped but didn't realize exactly how small it would be. This is a surprisingly good motel for the location. It looks pretty seedy from the outside, but my room was very quiet and well-equipped (fridge, microwave). If you're fussy about stains, worn out pillows and lack of a desk, this place is not for you. However, the rates are very reasonable and the location is safe and convenient.

Great hotel for the money and close to all beaches and many good eating establishments. The hotle staff are very friendly and accomodating. I would stay there again and would recommend others to stay there also.

The room served it's purpose however the service was like they could care less. And they didn't. Rudeness was the theme there. Try the Ramada Limited down the street.

A pleasant surprise with no complaints at all.

Room was small. they only had standing shower ,at least in the room I stayed. Bathroom was too small. I needed this only for sleeping during night because we were out all day, so it was okay for me. No ironing board/iron in room, so I've to get one from front desk.

Excellent value for the price. Nice staff, and convenient to Redondo Beach sites. Good for a couple night stay at that price,

Greeting at the front desk was very friendly. Nice size fridge in the room. Lighting felt as if you were in a seance, even with all lights on. Paint peeling in the bathroom. And the bed, OMG. I needed a chiro and a massage in the morning. Nice location and price. Spend the dough and get a decent bed.

The employees were so nice.. I just couldn't deal with the smell in the room..but I am very sensative to odd smells .. I do recommend this hotel..

We chose the Inn because it was rated "clean", and was low cost. The room was a little moldy smelling, the shower leaked and my wife "thought" she could smell cigarette smoke in our non-smoking room. It was "OK", but I would pay a little more and take a step "up" next time.

The trip from LAX was pretty long and had us worrying about the hotel (was it in a safe area? was there anything worth seeing near it?) - we were in LA for the first time and this was our first destination. Redondo Inn was a nice place to stay, we had no complains about the hotel. The beach and the pier, which were worth seeing even in late October, […] were wonderful: a view of what the regular Joe does on a weekend, and also stuff for tourists - our only regret was to miss the whale sighting trips! I enjoyed being close to the beach and lots of stores and restaurants. Also being on a main street made it easy to get to los angeles and other beaches. The room was furnishe with a refrigerator and microwave and the was a plus too.

The hotel is conveniently located if you are planning to stay at one of the beach cities. Although Redondo is not the most hip place (it lacks the wealth of Manhattan Beach and the bustle of Venice) it is still a safe and pleasant neighborhood. Not the newest hotel, but clean and with friendly staff. If you need a place to sleep in that neighborhood it provides good value for the money. Don't expect anything fancy though. Rooms come with a fridge and water kettle. They would benefit from a renovation in the not too distant future but were still acceptable to me.

The room they gave me was not cleaned, so housekeeping had to be called over. Bed was comfortable enough though. I slept alright. Was close to the beaches. Good for a one night pass through and will save ya a little bit of cash.

Comfortable place to stay. Used this place twice now and recommended it to a co-worker.

I reserved two queens but at check in they said they only had single room beds. Our daughter had to sleep on the floor since they didn't have roll-aways. Bedspread was smelly. It was supposed to be a non-smoking room but the room smelled like stale cigarettes. I really don't recommend this hotel!

Staying here was nice. It was clean, quiet, and just a walk away from the beach. The staff were also friendly. We'll be staying here again!

My family and I stayed here for just one night. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. It was nice having the Junior suite, so my daughter could have her own room. Good internet access. My daughter had to take a test on line for school.

granted like most hotels, the bed sucked for comfort, but other than that, the room was clean, near the ocean (walking distance) and overall a place id go to again.

Nice amenities: microwave, refrigerator, but no hairdryer! (I forgot to bring one!). Also like the separate bedroom for the second bed!

My room was reasonably clean when finally done but the bed was not fully made when I checked in at 3:30pm. The front desk called to say someone would be there within 30 minutes, 90 minutes later it was still not done. Eventually it got done at some point while I was having dinner. I should have just rented the floor instead of an entire room. The TV was tiny and the bed was like sleeping on concrete. I was moving into my own place on Monday but decided to stay here instead of a freind's couch. I should have picked the couch. It really was that awful and uncomfortable.

The only but major problem I had with staying at redondo inn was that the sheets, blankets, pillow cases, bed and pillows all reaked of mold and mildew which, as you can imagine made simply lying on the bed, let alone sleeping on it extremely difficult and uncomfortable. Great location not far from LAX and the 405 if you have to make meeting. Location was great for my business meeting, quiet room along the street, never heard any traffic and bed was comfortable for a night. I recommend for business person who needs a short stay and do not mind being near the beaches.

I have stayed there several times and am always pleased with the accommodations. Reasonably priced, close to shopping, entertainment and the beach.

It is definitely ONLY a 2-star hotel. Towels, soap, and shampoo were minimal. Old bedspread, indoor/outdoor carpeting in rooms.

Stayed there two different times in a week due to goofy work schedule - good experiences both times. Now I know where to stay in the South Bay.

I have stayed here a few times and always have a good experience. Would recommend highly.

Good value for money. You can walk to the beach in 5-10 minutes.

This hotel/motel would be much better if the walls were not so thin! You can hear your next-door neighbors even if they are talking at a conversation level. So you can imagine how annoying acutal noisy neighbors would be. One solution is to keep the fan running the whole time. Not particularly bad, but not particularly good. I was expecting a larger hotel and more parking. When I arrived check in was okay and didn't take long. When entering my room it took me 5 minutes to find the light switch that worked. The switch near the door didn't turn on anything as I found out. Also the standing lamp near door was behind a sofa seat […] and unplugged (which didn't help any). The restroom looked recently updated, but the small window latch was broken and had a block of wood to keep it open to let the steam out (no fan). Beds were comfortable and pillows were fine. Paid for two full size beds for two guests, and got a full size bed and a queen size bed. So pretty good there. The room had a smaller room in it with the full size bed, but no door. The addition of a door (already had a door frame) could have added value to the room by adding more privacy. The room phone didn't have a directory or directions how to call the office. Also, the office hassled me about my guest who I shared the place with. They said no visitors and only one vehicle per room. Pretty lame. Also the guy in the office was a little rude. Overall... because i had an appointment with a boat captain to scatter my mother-in-law's ashes in redondo beach, about 2.5 miles out.

Area was nice. Very close to beach. Some remodeling going on in hotel. Parking very tight especially when there are many trucks in parking lot. No bath tub, just a shower in our room.
