The place is great for economy for sure. The room was spotless. No alarm clocks so it was an issue to wake up and go to a light to see my watch. Dont rely on wake up calls anywhere. This is the 3rd time we stayed there and with 3 different desk clerks....not overly friendly. That kind of bums me. Great location. This was my 2nd stay here. The hotel was clean and very nice for the price. My only complaint with the room was the fan in the bathroom was very noisy. I think they were short handed as the front desk person seemed to be doing everything herself and was very abrupt yet polite. Will definitely stay here again.

I was surprised at the excellent value for the price. The room was spotless and had all the extras I needed. The staff was friendly. My only complaint was the Sunday morning 4:30 am wake up call that I didn't request. Maybe they called the wrong room in error.

We stayed in this hotel 3 times in the past two months. Each time the room was spotless. Sadly, each stay the tv remote was not properly functioning and I relate that to other renters, not the hotel. One time the sink drain was not able to drain quickly but no big deal. The shower had ample hot water. It is a good stay for the price. They triple billed me.

The only thing pleasant about the hotel was the staff (the cleaning staff). The hotel was very shabby and a very unpleasant experience. There were stains on the carpets, the toilet was not secured to the floor and rocked, the flushing mechanism was broke and and would continue to run, the sink was broke and would leak, the shelving to hang close case […] off the wall and unusable. the air conditioning was broke and therefore would come on randomly (either freezing you out or making you sweat), the microwave was broke and couldn't be used for fear of setting the room on fire, the drawers had a foul noxious odor (somewhere between horrible body odor and roadkill), the rolling chair had nasty stains all over it, the door to the room was all rusted out and pulled away like someone had previously tried to break in. And finally, there was poor drainage in the bath tub. All in all it was a very unpleasant experience. További részletek

For a quick stop to sleep and move on it was great. Would I want to stay for a long period of time? It was your average hotel. It was clean and did the job.

Needed a hotel near the airport on a Friday night--didn't anticipate the entire city of Portland would be sold out. Found a room at the Econolodge--can't imagine anyone CHOOSING this hotel rather, like me, got stuck there as last resort. Confirmed reservation for non-smoking room. Was told by desk clerk, "only smoking rooms available, take it or leave […] it". Cheaply built, poorly maintained, poor service, and priced like a 4 star. Rooms not maintained, not very clean

We were only staying one night. Room was clean, no odor, with the usual continental breakfast. Nice staff. Only complaint was the toilet in the bathroom. It wasn't bolted to the floor and it kept running all night. Had to turn off the water connected to the toilet. My family & I decided to spend our last night in Maine at this hotel to save a few bucks over the other hotels closer to Portland airport so we wouldn't have to drive 2hrs from Bucksport for our 6:00am flight. When we arrived the room must have just recenly been cleaned because the trash was still stacked outside the room's door (where it was when we […] left). We set the a/c to cool the room while we were gone to finish some shopping. When we came back the room was still warm and the a/c was not cooling at all. I called the front desk and asked for a new room because the a/c wasn't working. The man at the front desk chuckled and said that to make the a/c work I had to turn it all the way to heat then back to cool and it would start. I did, but it didn/t work and in the middle of the night we woke up sweating in our beds. Clean, comfortable, quiet with great beds and shower. A pleasant place to stay, close to everything but off the beaten path. I will definitely stay there again.

We were a group of 6 friends going for a roadtrip to Portland. When we arrive, we had a good service at the lobby. We got our room at the second floor one next to another. Room was okay. I can't say it's 100% clean, but it ain't that bad. Until I used the shower and the toilet. The shower took almost 15 min to get empty. Even worst, the toilet overflowed […] and the room was full of urine. They definietly have a drain problem, cause all 3 rooms had the same flushing problem. I also found some sp3rm stain on the curtain of the windows. Maitress is hard and not comfy at all. I guess that's why it's so cheap. Great location, next to highway and great shopping mall. The heating and air conditioning unti was so loud, it woke us up every time it went on. The beds were the worst beds we've ever slept in (and we travel 2-3 times per month for work). I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Room was ok, but the heating system was very noisy. It was hard to sleep through the recurrent loud fan turning on at regular intervals. Plus, this hotel allows pets which is good if you have a dog or two, but not so good if you are looking for an undisturbed night's sleep - or have allergies I imagine. neither clerk at check in or check out was polite. We have stayed at this hotel probably 3 time snow and always the same results. We will probably not stay again. Will pay a little more to stay somewhere that people are smiling when they greet you.

Conveniently located next to the Maine Mall but away from traffic noise, this hotel is clean, comfortable and very inexpensive. The free breakfast was an unexpected bonus.

We were pleasantly surprised that in this price range the room had micro, fridge, coffee pot, bowed shower curtain and plenty of pillows. The location is super and within walking distance of plenty of restaurantrs and a mall and also close to the highway. Our only issue was the softness of the mattresses. The floors weren't entirely clean, but it was fine for a simple night stay. I had to wait for the attendant, and the lobby left much to be desired, but it was a good value overall.

We found this hotel to be clean and perfect for a one night stay , there was nothing fancy about it but it was clean and quiet .

location really convinient - close to highway entrance and mall with many restaurants. About 20 min drive to either Old Orchard Beach or downtown Portland. Water draining problems were still there when we checked in. Price a litle high for the motel quality but overall good experience.

Our room smelled strongly of urine, so much so that we had to keep the bathroom door closed. The floors appeared to have not been cleaned. We were also charged for a safe that we did not use. When we asked about it upon checkout, we were informed that we would have needed to decline using the safe when we checked in. Everything was fine, but with a little effort it could be better. Staff could be friendlier to make people feel really welcome. Room could be cleaner. Attention to detail really pays off. If you have time to fold the toilet paper, you should have time to clean the corners in the bathroom; not just the middle of the floor. The room was hot. We have stayed here several times. It is affordable, clean, quiet and very conveniently located behind the Mall with easy highway access and close to the airport. Though it is "no frills", it serves the purpose and the continetal breakfast is just fine. There are also many restaurants located quite close if you'd prefer something more.

Other than the fact that I was unable to use my AAA membership as an added discount and the fact that a $1.61 charge was also put on my credit card AFTER I had left the hotel -I was told it was something that was noted on my receipt at check in but it was not - the room was sufficient. Good place. Good bang for the buck. Cons: Breakfast SUCKED! and the room service was horrible. The coffee mugs were dirty and the room service almost did nothign other than make my bed. I stayed at the hotel for 5 days. and after 2 days i left a sign on the door asking them to not clean my room (because it was useless). Pros: Good location. Huge rooms. […] Nice bathroom. First time ever found a Microwave in a Hotel. Located next to shopping Mall with Starbuck. Short drive away from Portland's famous Lighthouse "Portland Head Light". Free wireless signal is real strong. Free continental breakfast is still in the lobby until 11 AM. The room is not that sparkling clean, but for the low price I paid ..no complain here. […] I was there just for "Fall Foilage Drive" and it is middle of everything. 1 1/2 hr from scenic bay view over the top of Mt. The room was clean. The location was very convenient to the surrounding area. Only draw back is there is not a restaurant on site. Delivery however is an option.

Hotel o.k. Für einen kurzen Stop o.k. Besser als die Bewertungen die ich (bisher) gelesen hatte.

Das Hotel liegt inmitten eines Gewerbegebietes. Wenn man mobil ist, gar kein Problem. Es ist eher ein Durchreisehotel als ein Urlaubshotel und als solches auch durchaus okay für 1 oder 2 Nächte.
