Close to the station to airport and easy walking distance everywhere

This is a cute little hotel, located in a good part of town. Pretty easy to find once you get off the bus from the airport (with a map of course), and the hotel staff spoke good English, and were more than accomodating. 15 minute walk from train and bus station, 5 minutes from El Corte Ingles, (big department store), only stayed one night so didn't really explore but just behind big main street, very nice room and free toiletries like comb and razor very useful, only thing I was disappointed in was no kettle, us Brits do like to make a cuppa! Breakfast ok value in […] week at 5€ but would have been disappointed if I'd paid 7.50€ for it on a weekend - grab a coffee and pastry somewhere else would be my advice. The Hotel Atarazanas was a brilliant hotel close to the centre of Malaga; five minutes walk from the train station and a further five minutes to the centre of Malaga, the location was excellent. All the staff from those at Main Reception to the Cleaners were friendly and helpful, no matter the time of day. The hotel itself was kept very clean throughout […] and our room was always spotless whenever we returned. Only slight downside are the walls are a bit thin and I could hear next door snoring! In addition the bin men come at the crack of dawn - but you are in the middle of a major city! Hotel breakfasts were very good - we purchased ours when we checked in an received a discount. Foods available to suit all tastes, such as bacon and eggs, rolls and cold meats, yoghurts, cereals and muffins. Overall, an excellent hotel we'd return to again! További részletek

I would recommend this hotel as one of simplicity and comfort. It's not exorbantly expensive and a very good value.

Stayed for 2 nights. Friendly staff. very clean, spacious,great location excellent value. Only negatives - at breakfast coffee was cold and some of the other items on buffet. Could be noisy for some people as some rooms overlooking busy road.

Our stay at the hotel was great, staff were helpful, room was lovely, bed was comfy and the location was amazing. The hotel was a few minutes walk to the central train stop which took you to the main station, the airport or further downthe coast with ease, perfect for meaning we didn't need to carry our bags far. The market was right across the road […] as were a number of cafes, there was also a supermarket next door. On our arrival we were given a map of the city that had a suggested tourist walk on it, I would recommend doing this as it really got us to grips with the city and took in the main sights. The hotel was clean, comfortable and good value for money. Only downside was noise from the nearby market and busy street - as we had a room overlooking the street this was to be expected and not too much of an inconvenience. Actually quite enjoyed the buzz of this busy area. Rooms to the back of the hotel may be quieter. Very nice hotel, in a central neighborhood in Malaga close to the market and everything. But when we returned to the hotel one night we saw a (very) big cockroaches in the restaurant - and that alone does that I will never use the hotel again.

The hotel has a typical 'Malaga-style' look, yelllow exterior with green shutters and balcony.It's directly opposite the market and a stone's throw from El Corte Ingles (big dept store) and the main sites.Service was lovely, free WiFi,comfortable room, but I did not go for the breakfast.So many great places to eat around there.Very Comfortable room, […] high-ceilings and comfy bed. Minus points: If you don't like noise, don't stay here! It's located on a busy street with street views/balcony (which I personally love) but noisy.Also, can here people up and down staircase sometimes.The other minus point is, because of the limited space in the room, they have a pull out 'desk' located right about the wooden box for storing luggage, so if you want to pull out the desk, you have to remove your suitcase and fiddle around with the heavy box, risking trapping your fingers! A bit obvious really but when you book the hotels.com "AVE train passengers" price, you must have an Ave ticket. Otherwise the hotel will charge you an extra 5% on arrival.

Staff very helpful; clean; good value and conveniently located. If you mind street noise, ask for a room off the front of the hotel.

Only stayed overnight on a weekend. Had a small room, lower floor- clean but very worn out. Beds were hard but we both slept well. It was next to a noisy alley with lots of scooters/mopeds and a few loud, happy partiers; but, it was quiet by 10pm. Could not get fresh air in the room because of the smokers and exhaust from vehicles. The grocery store/deli […] next door is great for snacks and ice (not available at the hotel). Bar in the hotel did not open the Friday night we stayed there. Location is good for tourists - the Calle Larios area has nice shops, restaurants and ATMS and we felt safe walking there on a Friday evening and Saturday morning. Taxis were lined up on the next block so it was easy to get one in the evening and late morning on a weekend. Info for Americans (may not be a surprise to Europeans): the room card must be slid into a small device mounted on the wall by the door to turn on the power for lights and air conditioning. Air conditioning is NOT functional. Ask for directions on how to turn on the air conditioning- we had to ask 3 times and it still did not work the way we expected. The hotel desk clerks were helpful even though their English skills were as limited as our Spanish skills. Smokers are EVERYWHERE so non-smokers should be prepared to cough a lot! További részletek

This hotel is friendly, comfortable and reasonably priced. It is well located near the fascinating Mercado. The room was clean and in good condition with a comfortable bed and the bathroom was clean and looking fairly modern. Very happy with this hotel for the price compared to other hotels in the vicinity that we've stayed at previously or looked at when booking this hotel.

I de fleste henseender et udmærket hotel, god beliggenhed, fine faciliteter. Den vigtigste ulempe var at der ikke i på værelset var plads til 2 kufferter af almindelig størrelse, med mindre den ene udfyldte gulvpladsen ved siden af dobbeltsengen. Vi overnattede i 2 omgange, i første omgang kun et døgn, men så pakker man jo ikke kufferterne ud og hænger […] alt på plads i det (lille) skab, for at pakke ned næste morgen. Trods vinduer, forsatsvinduer og skodder var der en del larm fra gaden om morgenen og især en del støj når der blev slynget rundt med borde i hotellets spisesal (vi boede på 1. sal, lige oven over) További részletek

Vi havde 5 overnatninger på Atarazanas som forløb perfekt. Rigtig fint hotel, tæt på torvehallerne og i gåafstand til det meste. Service og rengøringen var super, og værelset var godt udstyret selvom det ikke var så stort. Der kunne forekomme en smule støj fra gaden bag om hotellet.

Ruime kamers, fris linnen- en wasgoed, goede ontbijtservice, en dat midden in het hart van Malaga met het oude centrum op loopafstand. Alleen het parkeren van een auto kan soms een probleem zijn.

Udmærket hotel i mellemklassen. Lidt uro fra naboværleserne, lidt ramboneret, men rent en velfungerende airkondition.

Perfekt hotell om man vill bo centralt. Nära till allt. Man kan ta tåget direkt från flyplatsen ca15 minuter och därefter ca 4 minuters promenad till hotellet. Rent och fräscht, men relativt enkelt. Mycket prisvärt. Sent på natten kan det vara bra att veta att ovanför saluhallen finns det många prostituerade av båda kön. Hotelli sijaitsee todella keskeisellä paikalla kaikkien nähtävyyksien ja kulkuyhteyksien suhteen. Huone oli todella raikas, puhdas ja rauhallinen, kun toivoimme sisäpihan sijaintia. Aamiainen oli muuten ok, mutta vihannekset puuttuivat.

Vi var 2 voksne på vei til Sevilla, som trengte hotell for et par dager. Atarazanas var et greit alternativ, men for et lengere opphold ville jeg ha foretrukket et annet.Fint rom, men ingen aircondition. Mye støy fra gaten natt og dag. Husk ørepropper!! Ca 10 min. å gå fra togstasjonen, vel og merke med hjul på kofferten..og ca. 5 min.gange til den […] gamle (kosligste)bydelen. Frokosten var ikke inkludert i prisen, men et supermarked rett ved siden av hotellet kan benyttes. Vis a vis hotellet finner du et stort innendørs marked med dagens ferske fisk, kjøtt og grønnsaker. Hôtel central, proche du quartier historique et des boutiques. Comfortable, propre, possibilité de prendre son petit déjeuner. Demander des chambres au calme, ne donnant pas sur la rue. Hotellet ligger meget centralt tæt på det hyggelige centrum men stadig på en stille gade. Vores fly var meget forsinket men det gav ingen problemer at dukke op midt om natten. Værelset var godt men dog ville jeg en anden gang ikke vælge et hotelværelse uden vindue udadtil. Men hotellet var som sagt rigtig godt til prisen
