Overall, a nice hotel. Good continental breakfast. Only complaint was that there were dirty glasses in the room and the coffee maker was not clean.
"Sports Trip"
We stayed toward the back of the hotel and someone kept putting a block in the door keeping it proped open, that bothered me. Our room looked clean and the beds were comfortable. It came with frig and microwave which was very clean. The problem was we could smell mildew, couldnt find it but it was definatly there. The furniture appeared fairly new. […] Now the bathroom is another story, the sink and vanity were new like the furniture, but the plumbing! holy cow, I practically pulled the plumbing out of the wall trying to get the shower on and the tile was awful, I could have layed tile better than that. Also, there was no fan in the bathroom. So between the probably leaking plumbing and no fan is probably why the room smelled like mildew. they had a nice little breakfast going on in the restaurant, very helpful since we had to get going early every morning. since we were not vacationing, it was fine for our purpose and worth what I paid for it. "Just OK"
The hotel is Ok. It is a little out dated and the staff does not speak English hat well. The location is great because it is right off the highway. The room was bearable but needs updated. You get what you pay for so if you are looking for a high end hotel you had better stay at the Marriott.
"TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED!"
I was very disappointed with this hotel, especially it being a Ramada Inn. The actual bedroom area was alright. Bathroom was a mess. Tub was cracked and peeling. Did not even want to shower in tub. Old plastic ice buckets, no iron in room, coffee machine in bathroom. The free breakfast that they offered was a joke. Stale donuts, make-it-yourself waffles […] and what looked like to be powdered eggs. I was not a happy camper at all. I will not say, that all Ramada Inn's are kept in this condition because I have stayed at others, but this one definitely needs an overhaul. Staff was courteous. További részletek

Our room was quite clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly. We were somewhat disappointed at the 'continental breakfast'. Because of the full service restaurant, I guess we expected a 'traditional breakfast' - we were told 'breakfast' was included... they didn't say 'continental breakfast'. Although the room had new furniture, it was very dirty. The floor wasn't vacuumed..it had toe nail clippings on the ground. There were boogers on the desk. The toilet seat had hair and stains on it (the toilet also barely flushed) and there was pubic hair in the shower drain...gross!!! Would not stay here again. First room had dirty sheets, food in the bed. 2nd room had all cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, lukewarm water in the shower.

The hotel is old, antiquated, and falling apart...a very far cry from the Ramada standard that I regularly stay in. If you have to stay in this local okay - but be forewarned hookers traffic through place and keep your lights on so you stand a chance against the pestulance!

"Good, not perfect - worn"
It was a semi-renovated room - newer furniture, but worn bathtub/tile. If I had not received a great price for this room, I would not have been happy. But for the price, I got what I paid for. It was not gross or unclean, just very worn. The outside pool area was sub-par and the pool itself had a green hue... not sure if it was paint or water condition. […] The pool deck was carpeted which I feel is a very bad idea - too easy for bacteria & fungi to breed. Plus it was worn and dirty looking, so I would not let my kids enter that area or swim there. However, other people did not seem to mind and were using it. The staff was not especially outgoing and seemed stressed. They did quickly respond to any questions and needs without issue. The breakfast was standard (eggs, waffles, continental offerings), but they appeared to be understaffed as it was not well kept. Serving containers worn and some were broke, so this hotel may be struggling financially. Bed was very firm, so if you enjoy cushy mattresses or luxury toppers you will not get that here. Overall, for the price I paid, I felt comfortable and clean, just not wowed by it. It is a true 2 star hotel and no more than that. További részletek

The reception staff, not friendly. The lobby was a mess, could be because of the patrons at the lounge (not hotel guests). This is where local prostitutes meet with their tricks. No elevator and had to carry luggage and bags up and down stairs to get to the room. Rooms weren't properly cleaned, found balled up tissues near the bed (afraid to ask what […] was within in the tissue). 3 of the 4 lamps didn't work. No spare electrical outlet to plug in charger for phones and laptop. I will never stay at this property again, especially after what we paid per night. The Hotel was grubby and not too clean, we wanted to use the pool after a 7 hour drive but it was green with algae or something not at all nice!! The restaurant was creepy, empty and not at all inviting.

The pictures WAY overstate the quality of this hotel. The pool was green, the rooms smelled moldy, the ceilings are low. Slapping down some granite does NOT make for "newly remodeled". Water pressure is low so the showers are lousy. Overall, dirty, damp, soggy and smelly. Would NEVER go back.

Worst hotel I've stayed in. Was chosen for proximity to West Point for family member's graduation. Very run down and poorly maintained. Breakfast very unappealing. Had to stay in smoking room due to unavailablity of non-smoking room--could barely breathe in there and all clothes etc. smelled horrible.. Hallways had numerous sets of steps in the middle […] of them with narrow risers. No elevators, carpets in very poor condition. NO HOT WATER IN AM FOR SHOWERS!!! Another family member's room air conditioner made so much noise it could not be left running at night. The staff was indifferent to all complaints. Would definitely not reccommend. It was comfortable and clean, and very easy to get to from 300. The only downside is there's no elevator, lots of levels of stairs to go up and down to get to your room, but otherwise it was great. Decent breakfast too.
The hotel was clean. The breakfast was good. The only complaint was the number of stairs in the building. If you are carrying a lot of luggage it would be very inconvenient. The hallways had 2-4 stairs every couple of rooms.

Rooms very clean and comfortable (they seemed newly renovated). Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast nice. Location very convenient for our tour of the Hudson River area. We had a great stay!
The heater didnt work one night of my stay, also I was locked out the room, beacuse the desk clerk assumed I was only booked for two nights, bit my stay was for three nights.

All Hotel personnel were extremely freindly and helpful Room was spacious and clean. heater worked great and was quiet after it warmed up. I would definetly stay again

We stayed at this location for 1 night on a recent business trip. The staff was very polite and helpful from our check-in to check -out. The room was very clean and comfortable.

should have stayed at the Super 8 right next door which was cheaper and probably cleanier as well as more friendly and better run. I was there for a business meeting and could not get any Internet service in my room which is where I needed it.

"A great Hotel in Newburgh, NY"
This hotel was everything a person could expect. Great location, easy to get into and leave from. My wife and I were especially pleased with the room and the rate!!!
"Free upgrade"
We arrived pretty late for a one night stay, basically just a place to sleep. We checked into the room to find we had been upgraded to a suite, which was a nice surprise. It was just too bad we weren't there longer to enjoy it.

Hotel boasts renovations, but if you call a new sink a renovation, I guess they are telling the truth. Had stayed here before and thought I would try it again inasmuch as they advertise updates and renovation. Renovations are spotty, at best. Bathrooms have old tubs, toilets, flooring a walls, but new sinks. A little fresh paint and new linens would […] have gone a long way. What is new is clean and fresh, what is old is really yucky!
