the family rates! this hotel was further away from Montepulciano than we thought, and it unfortunately did not have any bathtubs. that being said, the owner and her two yong sons bent over backwards to be helpful and to provide us with the best possible stay. the hotel is newly redone, very modern, and the owners' attention to detail was obvious and […] sweet. the morning breakfast was better than usual in italian small towns, and, again, the overarching wonderful atttude was pervasive. the price was the clincher . . . more than half the price of nice places in Siena but with as many amenities. within a short drive of La Grotta--one of the best places to eat in tuscany! great helpful staff and very close to bus stop.Good breakfast and free laptop for internet usage,although the printer was not working.Good restaurant 100feet away.Better to have a car to go to surrounding cities because the busses don't run very regularly

What an absolute gem this lovely hotel a few kilometres from Montepulciano is. We found the staff were very very friendly and helpful,as far as my wife and I were concerned we were delighted with every aspect of our stay .

I can't say enough good things about Albergo I Due Cigni. First off, the hotel, which is a new building, is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The breakfast is fantastic, with freshly baked croissants and things that they make fresh every day (how nice it was to be woken up by the aromas of chocolate croissants in the morning!). The room also had a little balcony overlooking the tuscan countryside. The thing that really set this hotel apart was the service. The owner and her son were very kind people, and struck the perfect balance between not overwhelming you and offering plenty of advice and info about the surrounding area, if you wanted it. They made a number of excellent recomendations to us (since we had no plan once we got there, except to see the sights) from which towns were good spots to visit, which wineries, and restaurants. We ate out every night at the recommendation of her son, and wow. That man has excellent taste. Some of the best meals we ever ate. I have travelled all over europe and been to Italy a few times before, and this is the best hotel experience I have had in my travels. This B&B is in a small town a few km from Montepulciano. Best to have your own transportation if staying (I travelled by bicycle). Room was fine and quiet. We were looking for an inexpensive, clean place to stay on a quick visit to Montepulciano and found Hotel I due Cigna. We arrived later than expected, which is usually frowned upon in Italy. However, the staff greeted us with smiling faces, parked our car for us and got us settled into the room right away. They made us very comfortable and met all of […] our requests. Hotel is a little hard to find but worh it. The folks that run the hotel are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the morning was great and included a very nice cappachino.

Hatten das Hotel für 1 Nacht gebucht und waren voll zufrieden. Montepulciano ist per Auto schnell zu erreichen. Sonst hat alles wie beschrieben gepaßt!

I booked this hotel without a lot of expectations. The price was very attractive & the photos of the rooms were very invitive. We only stayed one night. The room was clean, however I did notice what seemed to be dog or cat hair in the bathroom. It wasn't a large amount though. The bed was comfortable & roomy but the pillows were horrible. Just flat […] pancakes. Thankfully, I had brought mine from home. The other negative was the bathroom towels. They were so hard & rough it was like drying yourself with sandpaper. They should really invest in some new ones & perhaps use fabric softner when washing them. The walls were quite thin & I was able to hear a lot of footsteps & voices. However, once I fell asleep I was not woken up again. The breakfast was simple yet sufficient. They even made us cappucino which was a nice bonus. The mother/son team were friendly & accomodating. Meget meget hyggeligt familiehotel hotel, der blev ledet af mor og søn. Et sted hvor vi sagtens kunne finde på at booke igen, hvis vi kom på de kanter igen. Stemningen på hotellet var rigtig god og de italienske familier vi mødte var rigtig imødekommende.

Bonne adresse à deux pas d'un site exceptionnel, Montepulciano, un accueil merveilleux, des chambres impeccables, un endroit convivial et familial. A recommander!

El Hotel el totalmente recomendable por todo ya que el personal y las instalaciones son inigualables. La situación es buenísima. El desayuno buffet es muy completo y preparan un capuchino increible. Además, te dan pase para la piscina y justo en frente, hay una pizzería al Taglio que preparan unas pizzas buenísimas y un mini ciacino de nutela con banana […] como nunca he probado. Bra hotell. rent, snyggt, verkar nyrenoverat. Italiensk design, marmor, snygga duschrum, fin utsikt men en bit från Montepulciano - inte gångavstånd. Behövs egen bil eller taxi med andra ord. Men priset var så bra så den taxiresa vi gjorde var ingen tuff utgift (50 Euro tur och retur och taxin kom och hämtade efter fem timmar på restaurang, vid midnatt, […] allt med hjälp av receptionen på hotellet). Vi boede på dette hotel 6 nætter, og vi følte os nærmest som familie. Det er et familie-ejet hotel, så det er altid de samme du møder i receptionen. Dejligt værelse med altan og 2 stole. Minibar, rummeligt værelse, stort badeværelse, godt tryk på vandet i bruseren. Rengøring og rene håndklæder hver dag. Morgenmad ok, der er lidt for enhver smag og masser […] af tørkager. Fin beliggenhed og parkering på gaden udenfor hotellet. Stille kvarter. I receptionen er de søde til at spørge hvor du skal hen, tegne en rute til dig på et kort og anbefale dig ting at se. Een eenvoudig maar net nieuw en keurig hotel op een paar kilometer van Montepulciano. De service van (denk ik) de eigenaresse en haar zoon, vond ik voorbeeldig.. met een welgemeende lach. De inrichting was nieuw en van goede kwaliteit. Familien der driver hotellet er meget hjælpsomme. Vi rejste med vores 8mdr gamle dreng og de var virkelig søde til at lave mad specielt til ham... også uden for restaurentens normale åbningstider. Hotel er rigtig lækkert renoveret og rengøring er i top. Ville dog ikke vælge dette hotel hvis jeg ikke kom i eget transport middel... selvom det ikke ligge […] så langt fra Montepulciano. Wir haben eine Woche im familiengeführten "I Due Cigni" verbracht und hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Besonders zu rühmen ist die Freundlichkeit der Eigentümer sowie die tadellose Sauberkeit der Räumlichkeiten. Im nur wenige Meter entfernten Ristorante/Pizzeria "Tre Stelle" konnten wir sehr gut und noch dazu preiswert essen.
