The gentleman on the front reception at this hotel was helpful, cheerful, polite and a pleasure to deal with and nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend and will definately book again this hotel. Breakfast was included with this room - scrambled egg ........ not sure !!!! Other ethen that great!! Good spot too

i know its a freebie and the hotel is great and i know i shouldn't moan but the set up for breakfast needs looking at. After a very long queue due to the fact that the toasters in the wrong place (not rocket science) my daughter had only a knife to eat her beans and sausage with. interesting but wrong! Can't complain for the price though.

Romantic couple days with special friend so of course I had great couple days. Room was clean and good size. Stuff could smile a bit more ;)

Inexpensive town centre location. Excellent value for money especially as you get breakfast thron in as well.

great hotel and prices

The hotel is ideal for those on a budget. Location wise bang in the center of Stevenage, although if booking for a trip to London it is best part of 45 minutes away in the car then a tube or close by for the main line railway. The hotel is very nice. Clean and modern. We found the bed too bouncy. We like a firm bed. That aside the room was very nice and clean. The hotel has a problem with lack of car parkings spaces. It only has about four spaces and one is for disabled drivers. The breakfast could be a bit better. The cereals selec tion was poor. Basic but plush hotel. Great staff, comfortable room and for the price so close to London could not be faulted

This Hotel is centraly located in Stevenage, close to all services. Trains, Buses etc and a few yards from the main shopping area. A very comfortable stay with very helpfull staff.

Hotel was just fine - only worry was having to park in the Matalan car park opposite. Didn't have to pay but was a little worried about the safety of the car. Everything was fine in the morning. Breakfast was good and facilties in the room were good too.

I was given a smoking room and when I asked for this to be changed the staff was unhelpful. As I was only staying one night I did not take soap, shower gel with me as I have stayed in lots of Holiday Inn Express's and these were always provided. This hotel was value for money, we were looking for a cheap room close to the centre and thats what we got. It 's just a shame that we stopped in this hotel at the same time as a party of young people who though it was a good idea to come back from the night club at three in the morning and wake the whole floor in the hotel up with banging doors and […] shouting. firstly , the parking, only 6 spaces for the hotel and no local parking until after 5pm. we checked in and the hjotel looked clean and tidy. our room was ok..but the bed was a very small double with a very soft mattress where if you turned over in the night you nearly fell out of bed! the worse was to come..got up for breakfast and found a queue waiting […] for food to arrive..the restaurant was covered in trays of used crockery, there were no mugs, no plates but no food!! after 10 mins i went to seek out the duty manager to be met with a terrible attitude..he assured me there would be food soon..i waited..as did many guests for half an hour...all that appeared out of the kitchen was a tray of sausages...no bread for toast..still no mugs.. there was only one girl working and she looked totally stressed..you could see the duty manager filling the dishwashed through the kitchen door... so we left after making a complaint and sought breakfast elsewhere..all in all a terrible stay..if the hotel advertises breakfast it should be provided!! This si generally a good holiday although some of the staff need to be more customer-friendly

No Parking for travellers, just 7 parking spaces for 300 rooms. I was charged $18 /day for wifi connection. The room was sparta, more like "camping" than a hotel stay. The bed was tiny, springy and uncomfortable more like a pull-out cot than a bed. Shower only, no bath.

It is a modern hotel but the bed was extremely lumpy and uncomfortable. I did not get a good nights sleep and I would not recommend this hotel to anybody.

Excellent for business travel

We arrived at our hotel in scorching weather. Unfortunately our room had no air-conditioning (Room 214). Despite 3 times querying this with three different reception staff who tried to convince me otherwise, nothing was done to rectify the problem. We almost went home one day early as it became unbearable to sleep at night. I should have asked for […] a fan, but wasn't offered one. Cogimos este hotel porque al día siguiente queríamos visitar Cambridge y el alojamiento allí estaba por las nubes. El precio fue muy bueno y teniendo coche de alquiler nos plantamos en Ca,bridge en menos de una hora.
