Hotel Atlas - Barcelona

The location is excellent, it is in the "heart" of Barcelona. Very close there is a big market, where you can eat fresh fruits, bacons and a lot of tasty things. Metro station is next to the hotel. The room was clean and quite big. But it was very noisy. At night, we could hardly sleep.

Excellent location and despite being next to Las Ramblas it's very quiet. Very comfortable stay and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend.

Wounderful people at the front desk and they help you for any thing you need with smile. Beds are not so great ,and I was there for four days and did not eat the breakfast even it was paid for. Our room was clean but the beds were very old and the bedding was quite worn. We requested a queen size bed but got a room with three single beds all next to each other. There was no coffee maker, no clock, no shampoo, and no wash cloth. When I asked for a wash cloth I was told to use the hand towel. The room was very small and very basic.

The hotel's location is its main advantage. However due to its City centre location it was quite noisy. The hotel staff did the minimum to make you feel welcome. The breakfast area was a converted hallway and if there was more than about 15 people it was crowded which did not make for a very relaxing breakfast. Staffs are friendly, but the hotel condition is not good. They gave us a very small room for the first night, i cant even open my luggage in the room, i have to put my luggage up to the bed in order to open it. The location is ideal; on the North side of The Ramblas, about 100' away, very close to The Central Market. Good restaurant choices near by. Always someone at the entrance. Excellent Internet and a good breakfast served from 7:30 - 10:30. A very pleasant small hotel.

I would definately recommend it to everyone. The room was a little bit small, however it was high standard, very clean, nice and friendly staff. Location is absolutely great. I am going to come back to Barcelona and for sure I will stay in the same hotel.

This hotel was excellent in terms of service, location and value for money. It is just off the rambla very close to all the sights. Breakfast was basic but exactly what you want to get the day started. I would definitly stay if we go back to Barcelona. Would recommened to others.

Location was excellent for visiting all the sights by foot. Breakfast was included and was a decent enough just the ususal continental kind. Overall a decent hotel for the price and I would recommend to friends staying in the city.

This hotel is in a great location. it is just a few steps off las ramblas and you can walk most places from this location. If you are headed toward the cruise terminal you only have to walk a few blocks to take the terminal shuttle bus (very cheap). If you wish to use the metro, the liceu stop is right there, it is easily accessible by train from the […] airport. There are a ton of places to eat in the immediate area. The staff is friendly and helpful, and there is free wifi (though you will obviously need a power converter if you are coming from the US). They give shampoo but no conditioner. My main complaints about the hotel are that the beds were terrible. I am not really picky about a bed but there were definitely springs poking me in the back as I slept. Also, since the hotel is in such a busy location, it was a little loud on the street. You may be better off asking for a room toward the back, our room faced out onto the street, which had a lovely view, but in the middle of the night there were people being loud outside, I think this is pretty common for most hotels off las ramblas. I stayed 2 nights in that hotel with my wife. At the reception, when we cheked-in, I asked for a quiet room, but I was told that the only rooms available were facing the street, and as it wasn't during the week-end, it shouldn't be so noisy. Stayed her for 2 nights in July prior to Benicassim music festival. Located just behind Las Ramblas, the hotel is really easy to find and close to some great restaurants (2 doors down is Juicy Jones, a fab juice bar and veggie cafe). You are literally steps away from the metro stop and the Ramblas other than that not much was impressive about this place. The king bed was 2 twin beds pushed together. Beds were very hard and I have had pancakes thicker than the pillows they had on the bed. Internet never worked but the front receptionist was kind enough to let me use his computer […] to print our boarding passes for our next flight. A great hotel to stay at. For the price and location, you can't get better. Within feet of Las Ramblas, across from the market, we had everything within walking distance. I can safely say that this is one of the best Hotels in the area in terms of location. I was a little scared booking because there were so few reviews at the time of our trip but we took a chance and loved it. The hotel is located about 100 yards off the Rambla right in the middle of the action. You can walk to everything you need. The metro Lieu stop […] is directly across the street. The partying does get loud at night so bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. Make sure to ask the staff for restaunts in the area, they directed us to 5 great locations all of which i would visit again. There is also a HardRock at the top of the square if you start felling home sick. We stayed for 5 days and never regreted it. *The only thing i would caution is if you are wearing backpacks watch out for pickpockets on the Rambla. I didnt have an issue but its not uncommon for tourists to loose everything. To get to the Hotel we took the bus (about 4 euro per person) take A1 or A2 to Placa de Catalunya and walk down the Rambla. When you see the Lieu Metro the street for the hotel is across on the left. My sister and I booked this hotel at the last minute online and arrived 15 minutes after booking. Surprisingly, they had our information when we arrived. La ubicación es todo, aunque si vienes en coche no hay acceso a la puerta del hotel en coche! Es una calle peatonal. Lo bueno es que puedes ir andando y esta todo cerca. Lo malo es que entra bastante ruido en la habitacion desde fuera y algunas de las camas son muy blandas.

Rummet vi först fick var mkt påvert och litet, sängarna katastrof typ campingsäng med stålfjädrar i ryggen. Internetaccess funkade ej på hela vistelsen, personal kunde ej ordna det. Generel ikke imponeret af hotellet, men det er et typisk turistklassehotel uden noget videre, man får hvad man betaler for. Receptionisterne var fuldstændig ligeglade selvom vi prøvede hilse og der var ikke meget hjælp at hente dér. Beliggendheden er perfekt, det bliver ikke meget bedre og det var grunden til vi boede dér. Dog var det også et problem […] da hotellet på ingen måde er lydisoleret. Har aldrig oplevet et hotelværelse med så meget larm fra gaden og gangene - blev hver nar vækket flere gange af en masse larm og troede vinduet var åbent, men nej, det var bare ikke lydisoleret. Det er et ude mærket hotel, som ligger MEGET centralt. Var nok lidt overrasket over hvor meget støj der var fra gaden vi boede ud til, og hvor ringe morgenmaden var. Vi fortrød nok lidt at vi havde valgt hotellet ud fra at de også havde morgenmad.

Var veldig spente på hotellet, men vi ble gledelig overrasket, små, men fine rom, romslige bad og air- condition. Rommet var rent og det kom nye håndklær og redd senger hver dag. Hotell Atlas i Barcelona har verkligen ett fantastiskt läge, och badrummen var fräscha och rena. Men, sängarna var hårda och obekväma, kuddarna likaså, ljudet från gator och omgivningar gick rätt in i rummet. Man trodde att fönstret inte var stängt, men det var det, och natten igenom stördes man av gatuljud och kyrkklockor och sophämtning, osv. För […] den som är lättstörd blir det ingen nattsömn! Frukosten som ingick var torftig och delvis rent oaptitlig. Hotellet har fem rum på varje våning, men ett av rummen på varje våning är mycket mindre än de andra och har bara en säng, alldeles för litet för två personer. Se till att ni inte får det rummet! Velfungerende hotel med god beliggenhed - tæt ved Rambla'en og i gå-afstand til de mange serværdigheder i den gamle bydel i Barcelona og til havnen. Vi nød også de mnage gode spisesteder i nærheden og bl.a. den gode tapas-bar, som ligger lige ved siden af hotellet,

Godt lille hotel, meget tæt på La Rambla og ligger i det gamle kvarter. Høflig og hjælpsom betjening. Lille men ok morgenmad.
