Unimpressive entry to accommodation.

If you want to see Dublin this is the perfect place. You're in the heart of the city above one of the oldest pubs ran by amazing people. If you don't like nightlife then this isn't for you. We had a giant tub and two skylights in suite number 3.

Great, albeit very loud, location. Don't stay here if you want to sleep on Saturday night! We knew we were staying in a party spot, but people didn't quiet down until around 4 am on Saturday and at least 2 on most other nights. Hotel staff (aka bar staff) were extremely helpful and nice. Our stay at tehis hotel was brilliant...Yes it was noisy at night but we knew and expected that. The only thing wrong with our room was the mattress was so terrible that it was uncomfortable....you could feel each and every spring...we had room 2. Apart from that it was clean, convenient and the bar staff that booked us in and out were great.

The room was fine and clean; staff were helpful and friendly. there was a lot of noise well into the night as it's right in the main hub. we weren't able to get info later in the evening because it was so busy. wi-fi was iffy.

This was such a great place for us to find on our first few nights in Dublin. The location was the center of nightlife but also could walk anywhere in the city from here. Good value for the money in a small but modern room with a very friendly helpful staff in the bar below. However, if you want to get some sleep this is not the place to stay. Across the street is a night club which goes to past 3 am in the morning. If you are in your 20"s and want to party hearty into the wee hours of the morning, this is the place […] for you. If you want to be back in your room by 11 pm to get a good nights sleep, I recommend booking a room across the Liffey and walking the 5-10 minutes back to your room for a quiet restful nights sleep. Unbearable noise from street till 4am every night. No receptionist, no elevator, no phone in the room, no wake up calls, no air-conditioning or air circulation, small room, TV remote did not work, no soap or toiletries. We spent the first night of our honeymoon at Farringtons. It was exactly what we were hoping for - a simple room in a great location. It was perfect for walking to all the sites! The staff let us check in at 11 am which was soo nice after traveling for 24 hours! Really lovely stay, and a great pub to boot!!

Location of the hotel is great. Literally a 2 second walk to temple bar and all other bars and restaurants in the area so made a good base to go from. Hotel room was not to the standard we were expecting. Room looked really nice at first until you looked a little bit more into it. The floors were not very clean and a few poor repairs were attempted […] to be made in the bathroom that did not look nice. Toilet did not flush properly either. Also while we were out for the evening we popped back to the hotel room to drop shopping off to find the manager had let painters into our room to price a job for the following. When we did get in the room it was left with a large sharp nail on the floor and paint on my bag. Was annoyed by the fact they were let in while our bag with passports in etc was easily accessible. This was well situated for access to the Temple Bar area and the Luas which we used to go the O2 Arena. The room itself was very small but clean and pretty. As it is on the main street it was very noisy and was quite difficult to get to sleep. I would not recommend the breakfast in the bar.

Très bruyant car au-dessus d'un bar qui fait d'ailleurs office de réception. Parfait pour faire la fête à Dublin mais pas terrible pour se reposer après une journée de boulot. Det var något alldeles särskilt att bo ovanpå en pub mitt i det område i Dublin som aldrig sover. Hotellet hade ett fantastiskt läge där det bokstavligt talat var nära till allt spännande, litet minus dock för lyhördheten i rummet som gjorde att det ibland kändes som att musikern som spelade på puben satt i vårt sovrum. Styr unna dette overnattingsstedet!!! Det eneste positive er beliggenheten ettersom det ligger midt i smørøyet av Temple Bar distriktet. Det værste med Ferringtons er at det er minst like mye støy på rommet som ute i selve gata utenfor. Det vil si at du må ha med deg hørselvern om du skal ha det minste mulighet til litt søvn. Standarden på rommet er […] OK - hverken mer eller mindre. Noe fuktskader lager lukt og ettersom det er vanskelig å få luftet ut (vinduene kan nesten ikke åpnes) blir det både innesteng og dårlig luft. Servicen på hotellet er også dårlig. "Resepsjonen" er den overfylte baren i underetasjen der bartenderen er mer opptatt av å servere øl enn å betjene overnattingsgjester. Så endeløs venting og svært lite hjelp må påberegnes. At du bare kan gå ut døra for så å befinne deg i den mest hektiske (og utvilsomt beste) gaten i Temple Bar er jo et klart pluss, men oppveier på langt nær alle ulempene. Så neste gang vi besøker Dublin vil vi helt klart velge å bo et annet sted - selv om det skulle være noe mer usentralt. További részletek
