The hotel is located in the historic sector of Pontevedra and is an historic building in its own right. We were there for the European Triathlon... Championships in the town and found the location very convenient. The weather during our stay was not particularly hot but if it was, the air conditioning in the bedrooms would not be able to cope. We liked the genuine antique decor and furniture which gave the hotel character but the compact bedrooms might not be to everyone's taste. The food was good; buffet breakfast was extra but generous and the emphasis was on seafood for the dinner menu. There was limited (and cramped) free car parking in the hotel yard; if you failed to get a space there you had to park in an underground park some 300m distant which cost us €11.50 for an overnight.
