Nice facility & hotel room - but waterpark has a big problem with lack of customer service. Lazy river was very crowded & lifeguards were strict about only using the correct tubes, but never did anything about the people saving tubes at their feet while they sat out. We had a great time. There's plenty to do for everyone no matter their age.

Really liked the hotel. However, the waterpark website could have provided more information like that they had towels and lockers to rent. Also, the kids need to be supervised by adults in the waterpark at all times.

You might think that because a hotel has an indoor waterpark it will be cheesy inside and not so nice and definitely priced higher than it should be. Key Lime Cove is a bit pricey but comes with at least 2 wristbands per room plus they have other combo packs you can buy so ask at check in. The rooms are REALLY nice, very comfy beds and pillows and nice […] linens and towels. The bathroom is nicely tiled and there is even a granite sink. Each room has at least a refrigerator and safe and lots of space. You won't be disappointed. The decor is tropical and fun. They work very hard to be accommodating and keep the place maintained. Definitely worth a two day get away. Take advantage of the kiddie spa, free activities and minimally priced activities at Leapin Lizard. You might want to take time out for yourself in their adult spa with superb products that only a few spas nationwide have. If you want a great vacay for you and the kids. Keylime Cove is the best! The location is great and the activities for you and the kids is phenomenal. Me and my kids have come to this resort twice and we will be back!

I got ate up by bed bugs was very unhappy

We've come to Keylime every year for the past 3 years in the winter. It's a great opportunity to beat the cold! It's great to go during the week to avoid large crowds.

Great place to spend a weekend with the kids. Worst beds i ever slept in.

The waterpark itself is really great. But that's about it. The hotel is completely overpriced and totally commercialized.. Everywhere you turn is more money to spend. The only staff member who was friendly or caring was the bellhop. We were disappointed to find out that one cannot request late checkout when reserving a room. The only time one can request […] it is that exact morning before 9:30am. And, at that, they only give you one extra hour. Even though we were granted late checkout, the housecleaning staff knocked and entered our room 3 times w/in that hour. We recently went to Keylime Cove w/our 18 month old daughter on Christmas day. We had a great experience especially since we went on an "off peak" day so the park wasn't too busy. The waterpark was nice and clean and the area was well heated. Our daughter was a bit young to really enjoy the park but she still had fun splashing in the water and going […] down the inner tubes with us in the "river". Overall we had a great time. The rooms were nice and clean as well. The location is great since it's so close to Chicago. I would definitely recommend the park for older kids who can really enjoy all of the slides. Oh I also would have liked to try the spa but it didn't open until 10 I believe so I couldn't go since check out was at 11 and I wanted to go early. They corrected my bill but they tried to bill me for a discounted Expedia rate and I had to show them my confirmation from Hotels.com - then they changed by bill accordingly.

Terrific Hotel for families wanting to get away. Close to Six Flags and Gurnee Mills. Water park is better for younger kids. Our downer was our neighbors: loud, banging doors, screaming. The waterpark was great, but I had some really loud People on the 4th floor with me. They really made my trip a nightmare. They didn't respect the quiet hour signs at all. The people next door to me was even more rude. But while I was outside my room ts was great.

Excellent stay! Cleanest indoor waterpark I've seen; only "negative" comment I'd have is that our couch in our room looked slightly worn, but we don't expect hotels to always have "NEW" furniture! Lifeguards were GREAT, constant supervision over our kiddos and felt very safe w/three small children.

The Hotel was just ok. The employee at the front door was rude. The water park at great Wolf lodge was much better.

Key Lime Cove is a great hotel for families with children of all ages the waterpark, arcade, activites and "Main St." shops are great. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The waterpark kept the kids entertained regardless of the weather outside. The area/location is clean and safe but other then Six Flags there's not much else in the direct vacinity. […] We managed to make it into Chicago a few times during our stay. It's about a 50 miniute drive depending on the traffic. Key Lime Cove makes it easy to use "cashless" purchases with your room key/wristband; the only downside is the hotel items are pricey and the bill adds up quickly. My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating We were happy to use the shuttle service. even the drivers were courteous. My only complaint was the parking. If you are in the Key Largo wing, which we were, you have to walk forever to your car and there were never any spaces available in the front half.

Very courteous staff, clean and organized--loved the room and waterpark!

All of the staff was WONDERFUL. For such a nice hotel we were very surprised that there was no way to purchase an in room movie for the children.

Stayed on July 4th and it was magnificent! The kids loved it. I have children 5 and 8 and the waterpark was perfect for them!!!! Did have some rude neighbors, but the staff was friendly and pleasant. I would definitely stay there again!!!! One downfall is the upcharge for additional bracelets! A little high. Ask about the 6 flags discounts.

We spent two nights at Keylime Cove. Our grandson was with us and our daughter and son-in-law and two of our other grandchildren stayed in the room next door. we were taking our 3yr old to great america and just needed a hotel nearby. we were so surprised how nice the hotel was ! our 3yr old had so much fun at waterpark that when we were at great america he wanted to go back to the hotel. water temp was good. the entire resort/hotel was very clean. the staff was extremely friendly. a ton of lifeguards. at […] first i thought that seemed like alot of lifeguards but that was ok. we had such a great time. way above our expectations. our room was very nice. no bathroom fan. and no nice view. there arent really any views around this place. but that is ok because we were in the water for HOURS. it was perfect. Enjoyed waterpark with younger kids.very convenient to shopping, Six Flags and food. Buy groceries at Jewel and avoid amusement park style food.

My daughter and I had a great time at the resort - we just wish there were healthy food choices. Too much junky food. The front desk staff was excellent.

The rooms were clean and comfortable the hotel and water park were so much fun but everything was really expensive. I thought since you were already paying such high rates for the rooms they'd at least cut you a break for the other activities and food but I was wrong.

Wonderful Hotel--Staff is very friendly and helpful and very family orientated lots of conviences and enterainment right there in the hotel!!!

I enjoyed the time I spent at Key Lime Cove. From when we pulled up until my family departed, we were treated very respectfully. Staff was accurate and concise with their directions and advice. This is a beautiful resort. I really loved that they had activities for the kids every hour and most of them were free. The hotel is a little expensive but I think the hotel tries to make sure that you feel like your money was well spent.. I really enjoyed my stay and so did my children.

KeyLime Cove is an excellent family vacation location. I felt my children were safe and they were able to enjoy themselves without me hovering. Every thing was accessible and the staff were freindly.
