Great suite but I expected a minifridge in our suite!

Great location for walking to the Alamo, the mall, & the riverwalk. Rooms were comfortable & clean. Would definitely stay there again.

We were pleased with this hotel. It was nicer than we expected since it was only rated 3 stars. I would definitely stay again. Only negative I had was it takes >15 minutes to get your car in the morning... so allow plenty of time for car delivery

Modern decor in converted 100 year old office building of eight stories. Reserved a room for one night, requesting "Alamo view" at slight extra cost. At check-in we were given a junior suite on 8 with view from all three windows. Very clean and comfortable. Only negative was loud A/C fan. It was a nice place to stay, even though our room was very small and nothing to look at. as far as view in our room. Everything looks as if it was newly renovated. In my opinion service was poor. you have to drag your own luggage around because there is no one to help. My wife forgot her toothbrush so I called the desk to ask for one, they said it would […] be right up. after an hour of waiting, I called the desk again where I was told he was the only person there and that if id like the toothbrush i would have to come down and get it. Nice Historic hotel close to the Riverwalk. Nice staff but no bellman but they do have valet parking for a charge. The room was great and comfy beds. For the price... excellent.

First, the basics: I didn't have any problems with my room while staying here. The front desk was great; very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, and also quiet, which was impressive because I was right next to the vending machines. Beyond the basics, I LOVE historic hotels. After spending 3 days at the Indigo Hotel, all I can say is WOW! Hip, fun, classy and unique - especially if you love architecture. Pros: This hotel is extremely convenient for those wanting to explore the downtown/Alamo/Riverwalk area of San Antonio. We were able to walk everywhere in just a few minutes whether we wanted to shop or dine. The hotel room was among the cleanest I've stayed in and was updated too. Staff and location was excellent! Hotel was once an office building, and they kept much of the charm, which was great! Fabulous location. Valet parking and $25 overnight fee not explained when reservation was made.... but worth the money. Diagonally across from the Alamo, the hotel is pet friendly (for a fee of $35) and staff friendly. Room decorated nicely and bed comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is well situated near the Riveralk in a historical building. Service was extremely friendly and the room was clean and well appointed. Being a historical hotel some of the rooms are very small. I was travelling alone and had very little room for my gear. Although the room was clean, it was very small and crowded. There were no drawers to put our clothes in. Also, the heater fan was so noisy it was unbelievable. The parking fee ($25/night) seemed high as well.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. The location was excellent . Overall it was a very positive experience.

The only complaint I have is the parking. I was upset because I was not told that I had to pay every 12 hours for parking if I did not choose valet parking.

Saw a bug in the dining area-- that was gross... but the room was very clean. Good location. There was no tub in our room, and that was disappointing....

The location of this hotel is excellent with easy access to The Riverwalk, the Alamo and many excellent restaurants. The thing that made it superior was the friendly, helpful staff. They made great suggestions and generally made the experience more than the average, routine stay in a hotel.

The location was great and the valet parking made things a whole lot easier but there were a few minor things that added up to a major let down. The room was not equiped with a refrigerator or microwave. The first thing we noticed walking into the room was scuffs on the white walls and there were some on every wall! It was distracting and gave the impression […] that the room was not clean and that the staff did not care about the state of the rooms. A few hairs were also found on one of the pillows. We had an issue with the WiFi. There is a passcode you have to get but it changes everyday. The valet did make things easier but when we called for our car 10 minutes before we left, like they advised, our car was not ready when we went downstairs and ended up waiting over half an hour. We were not informed this delay anytime before, during or after. We actually had to ask for our car from the valet attendant. We understand that space downtown is limited and a prime commodity but the room we stayed in, two doubles, was teeny tiny. There was so little space between the beds that we felt like sardines. This place was awesome. The staff was friendly and automatically gave us late check out since we got in around midnight. The morning buffet was nice, great coffee. The only problem I had with our room was an overpowering "febreeze" smell. The bedding smelled really good and clean so I don't know why they felt the need to fragrance the room. This was a beautiful hotel in the heart of San Antonio right across from the Alamo. The hardwood floors were a welcome comfort after a stay in a "hotel" in Queens, NY with indoor/outdoor carpet. Very nicely done details in a wonderful old historic building. Will always stay at this hotel.

Checked in was the room was great At 3.05am I was woke up to a party next door screaming cussing.Slamming doors running up and down the hall way. I gave it 15 minutes and called the front desk and asked them to take care of this. She said right away. 15 minutes later nothing had happened. I called back to th front desk. She said would I like to be moved. […] Why me I am the one who is not doing anything except trying to sleep. Finally after about 10 minutes all was quite. I called the manager after getting back home and complained to her she told me this was a training issue she would cover with her staff. And she was sorry. I will never stay there again. well the hotel isnt anything what i thought it would be. the online photos make it look very ritzy when in fact the hotel is nice but old and the rooms are tiny. the stay is comfortable but not what i expected.

This hotel is in a beautiful historic building with views of the Alamo (across the street), Tower of the Americas and is on the same block as Ripley's Believe it or Not, the wax museum and tons of the great southwest shopping and eating. This was my first trip to San Antonio and I have to say, this hotel was perfect. It was in a great location for the Alamo and the riverwalk. The bar prices were the cheapest around. Clean comfortable rooms. I would recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to San Antonio!

I loved our stay! Everything that we wanted to do was within walking distance of the hotel. My only complaint is that there is only valet parking provided by the hotel and the other option for parking is finding a space in one of the parking structures downtown. Other than that I would love to stay at Hotel Indigo again.

The room was clean and very modern. Beds were comfortable. The location was ideal and directly across from the Alamo. I would say my only gripe was the parking. Your choice is either a, "all day park" next door to the hotel with no security or to valet park. Both cost considerably more than I would like to pay. The rooms with queen beds are rather small, the room door almost hits the bed when you open it. But the bathroom is rather large with a large shower. The staff in the hotel restaurant are slow as well, it took 15 minutes to get a danish and a cup of coffee at 9am on a Friday with only one person ahead of me in line. The valet's and bellhop are slow at check in as well, they may leave you sitting in your car for several minutes while they help other guests. It's located literally right across the street from The Alamo --- very close to Riverwalk, it's really a fantastic location. The biggest pet peeve was there was NO parking. I was born in SA so have hit all the spots. When returning for a family event i chose this place for value and location. GREAT staff, easy to find, wood floors, contempo linens, blackout drapes and free wi-fi. Workout room is ok, food could be a lot better; but overall a really nice choice.
