Very new and nice hotel. Room was much bigger than the average European hotel. Staff were also very nice and helpful. A little out of the way but easy to get to by tram.

An all around fantastic hotel.

The hotel was very comfortable and within 15 minutes walking distiance to some of the most spectular sights in Salzberg.

Great hotel to check into after some of the dinky ones in Europe. Modern spacious room with state of the art bathroom and furniture fittings. If red is your colour.. This Is Your Hotel!!! Access to a central courtyard on level one from the same corridors is a great idea. Bed excellent. Airconditioned. Excellent WiFi although ask the staff for iphone settings. The only downside was that the Breakfast is €14 extra per day and not really worth it. Good location about 25 mins walk from Old City, 7 mins in cab from train station. I have been the 2nd time in this hotel and I will do it again. Hotel is colorful and pleasant. Rooms are elegant with free wirelss line. The hotel is situated about 10 minutes from the centre.

Breakfast was so-so Everything about the hotel was great. except our corner room could not receive wifi. Had to stand along the corridor to use. Toilet was slightly open concept in the room.

Beautiful hotel with a very good service situated in nthe heart of Salyburg. Fast Internet connection and very friendly staff.

Nice hotel with friendly staff and very nice room. We only stayed one night rather than our scheduled two because the bed was so hard it was like sleeping on plywood and we both woke up with sore backs. Hotels.com refunded us for one night. I had stayed with my wife for 2 nights. Location is very convinient. Bus stop just adjacent to hotel building. The local train station is also a short 5 min walk away. Like German hotels, it does not offer any room service. There is only one receptionist in the entire hotel - no other staff. But she was quite helpful and spoke fluent English. The interiors […] are modernistic and attractive. Windows could have been larger. The biggest drawback is, that the shower door is made of clear glass with no curtain (no bath-tub). A modern, clean, safe and pleasant - if overpriced - hotel. Free wifi, but difficult to connect to. Far from downtown Salzburg, requiring buses, but these run fairly frequently and stop near the hotel. Okay neighborhood, but not much to do there - except eat at the fine Greek restaurant across the street.

Nice funky hotel. Downsides are hard beds and the breakfast is not included in the price (it was at all our other hotels)

Hotel staff very cooperative and really been a pleasure staying with them. The hotel is excellent by itself, and the only bad thing is that it's a 30-minute walk from the downtown. The decor in the hotel is quite modern. The showers are see-thru, so be careful whom you share the room with. People smoke right in front of the front door, which I hate, but you have to put up with tobacco smoke in Europe.

Modern hotel with open bathroom. Not suitable for me who came with my mother and kid. Hotel reception is very rude. When I had a problem with intermittent internet access they basically told me : " sorry that's the way it is, or you come down here to the lobby". Hotel Amedia Salzburg is conveniently located - around 2 km walking distance from the Hauptbahnhof. You can also reach there by bus 2 and 4 (stop: Sterneckstrasse) . the room was amazing and very modern. We had trouble with the ventilation and the hotel was full so a room change was impossible but we suvived. we were able to get to the old town by bus just outside the door. Nice stay

Lovely hotel! Close enough to the train station and to downtown. About a 10 min walk to the train and about a 15-20 min walk into town...or there is a bus stop to take you there right outside the hotel. Rooms were comfortable and quiet at night.

The surrounding neighbourhood of this hotel is excellent! There is a supermarket directly opposite the hotel, Macdonalds is just 5mins walk away, and bus stops for buses no. 2 and no. 4 are just in front of the hotel! The hotel was great but do not think that breakfast is free even if they tell you the time that it is served. It costs 14 euro for a basic breakfast. and make sure if you book it on this site that you are signed in or you won't get your points even though they know very well that you booked it!!

The hotel was on a direct bus line from the train station, and was easy to get to from the bus stop. Beds were comfortable with craftmatic type of adjustments available at the head and foot ends. My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights, we just quickly chose a hotel in Salzburg off the internet the night before so we didnt know what to expect. But what we got was fantastic. I consider myself to be a person who travels a lot,.. and that hotel had been one of the worst experience of my life! And that negative feeling is mostly du to the receptionists. The people working at the front desk are simply unable to smile! Plus, I had a very big altercation with one of them. It has never been a problem for us to put yogurt or other […] things in the mini-bars everywhere, she lied first that there was no place (there were only 4 drinks – so still plenty of places!) and then, she arrogantly said we were not allowed, adding: "It's a 4 stars here!!” Are you kidding me! We've been sleeping in suites and in big hotels; we never heard such a thing!!! When came time to park, she never wanted to help, wanting of course to make sure we take their parking of 14 euros/night – and that also was a very bad service for us if we compare to other hotels that have been so helpful with parking issue – we come from Canada (Montréal) – and the street signs about parking are definitely not the same. When I explained this, she argued, not once, not twice, TREE TIMES that it was the same everywhere!!! God!!! I believe I know what are the street signs where I live and drive everyday!!!! Plus, talking about 4 stars! No body cream, no shampoo, no conditioner, no coffee machine.... And the toilette/shower space takes literally half of the room space leaving us with a suffocating room! Plus, the beds are the worst ever! The floor was more comfortable! The breakfast buffet only had cantaloupe as fruits. Really, we hated so much our experience there and would never go back, never! The Amedia Salzburg is outside of the main tourist area of Salzburg but has nearby bus service into town. The hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. The room had traffic noise and the beds were very hard. Otherwise the room was fine. There is a mall across the street. There were few restaurants around this area.

The hotel was about a 9 euro cab ride from the train station on the north side of the city centre but was a pleasant 25 minute walk into Residenzplatz (the main square). The room was open & very modern with free internet access which worked well. Breakfast wasn't included but there were tea/coffee making facilities in the room & there's a great supermarket […] across the road. There's also a great hotel/pub approx. 5-10 mins walk from the hotel (called Upper Keller) which had comfortable outdoor dining & great food. Booked this hotel on line mainly because the description said it was '1600 yards' from central train station -- it was a 10Euro taxi ride! So it was not the most convenient location for us. However, it was a new hotel, very modern, clean and it was on bus routes. Thought the breakfast was expensive as was just a cup of coffee, but the price of the room […] was very affordable, so it all evens out. The hotel was very new and modern, and was a great price for what we got. While the hotel is located a bit far from the city center, the bus stop was right outside the hotel which made it very easy to get in and out of the center. The only complaint we have was that the front desk workers were rather unpersonable.

This was a good deal especially since it included breakfast. The AMEDIA is very new and very hip looking. The staff is very helpful and pleasant. A little far away from the tourist centre, but reflected in the reduced price compared with more central hotels. Rooms were ultra modern, with open plan bathroom which might not be to everyone's taste. Beds were very firm, complete with bed wetter's mattress cover which I had to remove to get comfortable! Ein modernes, sauberes Hotel mit jugendlicher Ausstrahlung, was nicht nur an dem freundlich jungen Personal liegt. Besonders das Frühstück ist an Qualität und Umfang sowie Abwechslung hervorzuheben. Danke für den Service und immer wieder gern Gast im Amedia.

Matratzen sind gewöhnungsbedürftig ...

die Zimmertemperatur war viel zu hoch und Fenster öffnen wegen Lärmbelästigung unmöglich Duschgel Spender war komplett leer. Die Glastür zur Toilette blieb immer einen Spalt offen. Glaswände Dusche und Toilette waren sehr störend.

El hotel no está en el centro-centro, pero sí excelentemente comunicado con bus súper puntual. Andando al centro son unos 20 minutos, pero la vuelta ¡es cuesta arriba! Tiene un centro comercial justo al lado (abre a las 7.30 y cierra a las 19) con tiendas, supermercado y cafetería. En cuanto a instalaciones son muy nuevas, de diseño y bien cuidadas. […] Muy limpio todo. Tiene zona de relax con sauna y turco y además a nosotros nos toco una habitación con bañera y muy amplia. Hôtel confortable et Design mais qui souffre d'une localisation très périphérique dans un quartier simili commercial sans charme (ce qui nuit grandement à l'impression générale et à la satisfaction que l'on peut avoir pour cet hôtel et c'est dommage).

Es un hotel que si recomiendo, no tuve ningún problema,,, tal vez lo único extraño es que a veces te limpian la habitación tarde pq primero se ocupan de las salidas y entradas, pero por lo demás, estuve encantada.
