Rough Luxe Hotel - London

Since this is a small hotel, it is easy for the staff to connect with the guests. The service level is great and my special needs were meet in every detail. I can strongly suggest this hotel if you are looking for a special hotel stay.l

I had a wonderful time in Rough Luxe. The hotel staff (who also live on the premises) were exceedingly helpful and cheery. The rooms were very comfortable and I very much enjoyed my whole stay. The location was excellent for easily getting around the city. Definitely recommended!

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at Rough Luxe. Located near the Kings Cross tube station, it was easy to get around. The charm of this boutique hotel was undeniable. Wonderful attentive staff and welcoming feeling. Great breakfast too!

I was bowled over by the genuine freindly welcome and hospitality throughout my stay. This coupled with the fact that it is a throughly unique boutique hotel means I will definitely return. Be warned this quirky hotel may not be for everybody, the bathroom facilities are shared between 2 rooms, which may not always suit your sensibilities or morning […] schedule. The Rough Luxe is in someways more like the coolest B&B in the world run by the freindliest people you are likely to meet. I was travelling on business and the Rough Luxe was the antithesis of all the bland, soul-less places I've stayed the world over. I really felt like I was staying with freinds where I could come and go. My room was quite small, but my bed was very comfortable, and when I returned at night I found that my bed had been turned down, my suit hung up and personalised choclates left on the locker. Can not recommend this hotel highly enough. One anecdote to explain the level of service, I asked for an ice bucket to get some wine chilled, Antonio arrived back 5 minutes later with a bucket of ice, he was out of breath so I asked was he ok, to which he answered, "We had no ice, so just ran to local shop" Never had service like this anywhere.

I wish i had time to go on and on and on because this hotel was amazing. The staff was especially courteous and helpful and made you feel like you were at home. The location is perfect. The rooms were comfy and the decor was so inventive. We simply LOVED it and would never stay anywhere else if we were to return to London. Also the free wifi and the yummy breakfast were amazing ammenities. The location is close to subway and international train station. When arirving to the hotel I wasn't very much impressed, as the room wasn't ready yet. But the warm welcome from the staff and "those small details that make the difference" made us love the hotel. A very tasty breakfast with real expresso!! Would recomend this hotel for people who don't want the usual, expected services from a chain hotel.

The experience at Rough Luxe was incredible. I wish that I could have stayed longer and enjoyed more time relaxing in the place. Leo the manager seems to be the heart of this artistic gem. All thiese elements make you feel like you are at home, but away from home if that makes sense. I've stayed at plenty of hotels four stars and five but this by far was my favorite experience. Molto accogliente, Antonio e Leo sono veramente disponibili e gentili. Poche stanze, ben curate e accoglienti! Comodissimo da raggiungere grazie alla stazione Saint Pancreas a pochi passi..veramente un'ottima esperienza! Per quello che ho visto fin'ora il miglior hotel a Londra! Vivamente consigliato!
