In all honesty, the beds felt as if they were wooden pallets with newspapers on top and a wool fire blanket to sleep. The pillows were nothing short of a potato sack with filled with pencil shavings. The parking lot is treacherous to navigate with any vehicle larger than a midsize sedan. I saw a truck do a 7 point turn on each level to make the turn […] to descend to the lower level. Other than those short comings, the staff was super friendly and helpful. The location was great for the Myrtle Beach Marathon and other attractions and dining. Our check-in and check-out went smoothly without any issues. The hotel staff were courteous. We had a two bed room which was old but clean. Though the furniture was well organized, we did feel cramped due to the extremely limited space in the room. On the other hand, the hotel was ocean front and right next to the beach. It was very close to everything […] - the boardwalk, the Skywheel, and even the Broadway. The exterior pools were heated with a hot tub. We were also surprised by the complimentary breakfast in the morning - an extra bonus. Parking was free across the street in a private deck. Just like the room, the parking space was tight and almost difficult to maneuver for a typical full size sedan. Another odd thing - the hotel aisles from the 2nd story up were all open aired. The Breakers Boutique is right next to the beach/ocean and our room had a beautiful view of the daily sunrise! The continental breakfast was very nice, but I wish they would have had waffles. There was coffee, juice, boiled eggs, bagels, fruit, and pastries. The mattress was very hard and difficult to sleep on comfortably. The hotel seems in need of […] renovation, but was adequate for our purpose: sleeping in a safe environment. The hotel is within walking distance of the boardwalk. Parking is at the parking garage across the street and was fine for our compact car, but if you had a large truck or van, the spaces where you exited each floor were very tight and several people scraped the sides of their vehicles. Once you are in your parking space (if you can find on in the evening, as there are limited spaces available) you will have enough room to open your car door safely. Overall, an okay place to stay. Staff were nice enough and always very helpful. I just can't imagine staying here during peak season and trying to find a parking space and having to wait for an elevator (there are two) for the guests on all 18 floors! It was nicer coming here off-season to avoid the crowds. Our maid, Sharn, was excellent and kept us well supplied with towels and wash cloths daily. I would avoid the person offering guest concierge service with the discount and free attractions, who sits next to the front desk, unless you want to experience 2 hours of high-pressure sale tactics! Very clean and seems pretty new. Tall building, so if you stay higher, you can geta nice view. Walls were kinda thin, but not that big of a deal.

The room was very clean. Continental breakfast was very good. Bedroom area was completely updated, but the bathroom definitely needs an overhaul - tile floor was pitted all over, the hairdryer only functioned on low speed and the fixtures appeared original. Also, wasn't our room supposed to be furnished with a coffee maker?

The room description said "side ocean view", but the view for all of the rooms was a full-on view of the beach. The staff was very friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable.

Nice room...nice breakfast...nice hotel...however...the beds suck...horrible horrible mattresses...hard as a rock..if you like firm...I mean extra extra firm this will be for you. Extra small showers too.

We didn't know there were several other Breakers Hotels that were on a better part of Ocean Blvd. Our hotel was called the North Tower, there was nothing close to walk to eat or to do. It was clean and the staff was nice. We would have enjoyed being around the fun more!

Was very pleasantly surprised to see that things have cleaned up - bldgs renovated, no trashy t-shirts, etc. . .Front desk staff was friendly and thorough. However, the hotel stay barely lived up to my low expectations. The room was cramped, the balcony met dictionary qualifications […] of the term, fuses blew when we plugged in a laptop, housekeeping took out the trash can liners and did nothing else - except leave odors from their fast food lunch in our room. This was our first time staying in this hotel and it was actually better than I thought. The rooms were nice and clean, very well decorated and the bathroom was great. I would definitely stay again and refer to friends. It is a little farther away from the main Breaker than I would like but it is in walking distance.

This was a last minute trip and I was very happy with the location and staff. The room was just fine, the beds comfortable and the view wonderful. The bathroom however was very small and the shower in very poor repair with no water pressure.That said, I would stay there again.

Room was an double bed efficiency ocean front that was on the second floor. The room wasn't what I expected as an ocean front the view as it was obstructed by the palm trees blocking the view of the ocean. Also, the room was cramped. The people working the front desk were helpful during check-in with information.

I took my Grandmother to Myrtle Beach on Saturday for the night. She has not been in over 15 years. I booked this hotel at the last minute. When I arrived the front desk staff were VERY friendly. the rooms were a little small for a suite, housekeeping did a great job, a negative was that their were not enough carts to take luggage to et from room, had to carry all luggage down on leaving, the staff was very friendly, the breakfast was nice, we would stay there again

A friend of mine was in Myrtle Beach for the week so we decided to meet up for a few days. Picked this hotel because it was close to his condo. We had a blast, close to beach, had a bar in the building (it was an adult trip), and was within walking distance of other bars and dining. The room was clean and comfortable. Would go back.

We had the first inconvenient at the check in. We booked a Ocean front view and they gave us a side front view. They said was a problem of the website which we used to booked the room. However, we got there by 2pm, therefore, they had enough time to let us know that there was a problem with our reservation. In addition, the last night we had to tolerate […] the noisy fen located next to the elevator in each floor. The quiet place turned in a noisy place. We could sleep very well. Some towels were dirty. The breakfast was included, but even though we went to the breakfast-room early, we never got hot chocolate for our son, because they said they did not have more. Sliding doors to hard to open......beds to small room was way to small for all the stuff it in...... Look like it was a old hotel that they painted and are now calling it the breakers...... Also bugs in the room

It looks like the rooms have been renovated and nicely done, very pleasing to be in. I only gave a four with comfort because the mattress was pretty hard, even for a hotel mattress.
